UNTHINKABLE!: San Antonio Cop Raped Woman On Squad Car

by JON DAVID KAHN 25 Nov 2013, 8:07 AM PDT

SAN ANTONIO - Friday morning. On duty. Full Uniform. Marked Squad Car. Officer Jackie Neal, 40, made a traffic stop and then allegedly sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Police said the 11-year veteran pulled the victim over on the south side and managed to get her to stand behind his squad car. San Antonio police Chief William McManus described the events that followed as "unthinkable."

He isn't in trouble for raping her,

He's in trouble for not sharing her, and following standard police department rape procedures like in the cases below:

Why is this "UNTHINKABLE!" ?

Why is this "UNTHINKABLE!" ?

We already know a good deal of law enforcement believes they above the law. It would only be unthinkable if one thought Law Enforcement agencies had no unlawful conduct within it's ranks. One would have to be sound asleep to believe that.

Because emalvini

got tired of putting "BOOM!" on every post. Variety is the spice of life.

privatize police services

Make police officers accountable to their customers.

“The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants.” — Albert Camus

I do not agree.

It is bad enough now that they are bought and paid for. Total corporatist mode, there would be 0 [zero] accountability, a 100% for profit machine.

Calling once, calling twice... highest bidder wins.

The differance between state

The differance between state run and a company for profit is simple:

One has to please their customer to exist, the other does not.

Giant corporations who survive because of the government cannot exist in a free market. You make law enforcment privatized and what you'd see is a number of independant companies competing for business. That competition drives the quality of service up, and the cost down.

Seriously, how can it possibly be any worse than it is now!? At least if its a company you can vote no by spending your money somewhere else. A vote that's x10 more effective than what you have now.

See my response below.

May you and Ed Ucation enjoy 'utopia' together.

like healthcare?

What's the difference?

“The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants.” — Albert Camus

It's a fine line.

As it should work in a free market, I should have the right to purchase or not purchase healthcare. When strangers who I can not control are afoot out in public and have the potential to cross the line with me, potentially infringing upon my rights and others, I want accountability.

That, or let's return to full 'property rights', which I am 100% in favor of.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

well, then

I should have the right to purchase police services or not purchase police services. When strangers who I cannot control (police officers) are afoot in public and have the potential to cross the line with me, I want accountability.

If/when you can afford

to pay them more than I, then my rights are hereby nulled. This, not by choice.

Enjoy your good-willed intentions, and the unintended consequences that go along with them.

I stand proud and firm by my argument.

stealing from others by force is expensive

Violence is expensive. If a police agency offered this service, their rates would have to go up. They would have to pay higher rates to their officers for the risks they would take in taking others' property by force, for example. The higher prices, along with the fact that most people would not want to support such a service, assuming most people are opposed to stealing, would result in them having a continually decreasing market share. The honest police agencies would have more customers, cheaper rates, and would be powerful enough to withstand any aggression from rogue police agencies.

Plus, if a police agency violates your rights, you can go to courts. If the courts are free market as well, they need to be known for rendering fair decisions to attract customers.

Utopia.

You are in a corporatist world. This will not change in 100 years.

Accountability?

My life experience / observation has taught me that the last place you will find accountability is in a government agency.
The union will have this officer back on the beat very soon.

And it is here that we will part our ways.

When engaged, as cited by several examples on this forum, public response can/do hold the police at bay. They are 'public servants', not corporate entities. It is when the people lose sight and lower their guard that the police turn into criminals. That is why The People MUST be fully engaged.

Beyond police, I also have the power to vote in/out sheriffs, as was originally intended.

Come to think of it, Ron Paul spoke about this very issue the last time that I saw him in attendance. His positions are very similar, if not identical, to mine.

Free markets, which I fully advocate, are one thing. Public servants are another. Please do not confuse the two.

I guarnatee that this is not

I guarnatee that this is not the first time he has done this. He probably threatens to kill them if they talk and this girl is the only one brave enough to tell what happened. She needs 24 hour protection while this cop is out on bail or she will come up missing.

If I Were Her F@ther

...the cop would need 24 hr protection. THe 24 hr protection would need protection. Etc... etc...

Someone from San Antonio

Someone from San Antonio should find out his address and make it public knowledge.

Here it is.

From WhitePages.com: Jackie L. Neal's last known address was: 6650 Prue Rd Apt 1412 San Antonio, TX 78240-2505. His phone number: 210-641-1771. If you're really into this, you can use the White Pages listing to find contact information for his neighbors, who may not know the story.

Another view...

If this girl had been a legal CC holder...and when she felt threatened, exercised her right...would she be thrown in the hooscow as a "cop-killer"? After all, the POS deserved to get a cap in his ass...any thoughts?
Where I'm going with this idea is, as our police state violence intensifies toward the scenes from Hunger Games (heck, we're pretty-much there now!), at what point to We say "NO!"?. We've all been programmed to be obedient in the company of someone with a badge and uniform...those days are about over. It is ever-apparent that "peaceful resistance" and "spreading love" isn't working. Violence seems to be all "they" understand. Do we fight fire with fire? I just don't have an answer...I just don't feel the need to be polite during a road block traffic stop...I don't want to spend the night in the tank either...so, do any of you have advice or scenerios you can share?

Good cops better stand up and rid their departments of thugs

or I fear we will see vigilante justice unleashed targeting all cops. So sad that good cops refuse to clean up their ranks and instead protect the bums in the name of union solidarity and such. Unfortunately, I think this will escalate until people take lethal action to force police chiefs, prosecutors, judges and news reporters to put a stop to it.

Why are so many of these stories coming from Texas?

?

Texas is big...covers lots of space.

It would be like news coming from a 12 state area or larger in the north east section of U.S.

I think for it's size, Florida has a lot more crazy stuff happening there compared to Texas. Crazy stuff is always going down in Florida.

The Texas Rinches

That is all they are. The girl should have contacted the US Marshalls. You cant trust the TX state trooper and DPS.

Ever see the movie "Monster"?

that was shocking..

San Antonio, Houston, Dallas,

San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, doesn't matter down here in Texas. Cops are gods and currently in Houston our local rag is doing the odd thing of real journalism and running stories on the number of people cops have shot and killed and escaped prosecution and punishment.

Southern Agrarian

I broke up a fistfight outside

a movie theater between a drunk man and woman in SA.

They were apparently at a bar next door. We took the woman with us. The man walked off.

There were 5 policemen huddled up talking in front of the movie theater. Tried to tell them what happened and the woman needed to get home (and a little protection in case the guy came back) They treated us like WE had done something wrong and they were too busy to help with that. Most of these guys looked like they were frequent customers of the local all you can eat buffet and couldn't break up a fight without using a taser or worse.

My wife let her use the cellphone to call a friend. She stayed there until her friend came.

Isn't there some kind of Background check or simple TEST they can give these guys to find out if they are fit mentally and physically to "serve and protect"?

Or is their only existence to "serve and protect" the coffers of the municipality?
