"I'm a Jesus Loving Free Black Man..."

He may be a "Free Black Man", and yes, he appears to have the drone thing figured out.... but why do I get the sense he (West) is just another slave on the Government Plantation?

Feelings: They are like opinions and can distort the facts. I can't judge him by anything he said here. I don't know what feilds he plants for the Lord, God has too many. I dont know how Christians can even think of voting Democrat with a conscience, but there are some that are able.

What you are seeing here...

is four "intellectuals" arguing over trivialities concerning the deaths of children and innocent people.

The presidents of which they speak are murderers!!

The initiatives and methods of which they speak concerning those murders are premeditated and irrespective of innocent, civilian lives...period!

Father - Husband - Son - Spirit - Consciousness

What you are seeing here...

Is the insanity of a man who tried being a proponent of liberty but also had his head firmly lodged up Israel's rectum and also one that swallowed all the cultural Marxist rhetoric about Obama's status as a minority shielding him from accountability for his actions. Bill Maher is a major disappointment.

“My attitude toward progress has passed from antagonism to boredom. I have long ceased to argue with people who prefer Thursday to Wednesday because it is Thursday.” - G.K. Chesterton

"We're outsourcing killing people" with drones. WTF?

What's Truly Foisted?

ALL drones are specifically authorized by the President's signature; however distantly and mechanically it's done after that. The blood of those Obama flippantly writes-off as collateral damage, is upon his record before men AND God, AND upon Us as a nation. Until we cease this madness lawfully, by removing such unaccountable, signature-authority, from someone so poise and proven to exploit it; all of Us are at risk of a serious measure of judgement from Him who opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. It's time to get real, get humble before God, and then give this tyrant a self-respecting, "Hell, NO"!

Carter was only better at hiding his crimes

No overt, illegal wars were authorized under Carter, but truth suffered many deaths under his office, and I'm certain many Americans likely, also.

What Were Examples Of Such Crimes?

I can identify a major foreign policy atrocity (Bay Of Pigs, Iran Contra Affaiir) in every administration going back to Truman's, with the exception of Carter's.

"Bipartisan: both parties acting in concert to put both of their hands in your pocket."-Rothbard

Every action beyond specific Constitutional authority IS

But, since you asked, how about:

"Thus, as anyone paying attention should know, the U.S. commenced its low-intensity warfare against the Marxist government in Afghanistan – a progressive government, it should be remembered, which was very laudable in its treatment of women – not as a reaction to the Soviet invasion as widely claimed, but rather, in order to provoke such an invasion which came six month later on December 24, 1979.

We know this because Carter’s own national security adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, has bragged about this since. Thus, in a 1998 interview with Nouvel Observatueur, Brzezinski explained:

According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the mujahidin began during 1980, that is, after the Soviet army had invaded Afghanistan on December 24, 1979. But the truth, kept secret up to now, is quite different: it was in fact on July 3, 1979, that President Carter signed the first directive on clandestine aid to opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And on that very day I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my view aid was going to bring about a Soviet military intervention.

* * *

The secret operation was an excellent idea. Its effect was to draw the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter roughly the following: 'We now have the opportunity to give the USSR its own Vietnam War.'

This admission deserves a bit of dissecting and pondering over, for it is revealing of the most cruel intentions on the part of Brzezinski and his boss, President Carter." -

I really don't see how a lot

I really don't see how a lot of folks sleep at night. If I were Maher I'd stick a gun to my head

how bout woodman vs maher

how bout woodman vs maher about maher being a dumbfk

Be Your Own Media!!!

The lady on that panel did well too

She talked about the danger of increasing growth of power of the executive branch. I'm glad that got mentioned.

I was upset w/ her however when she didn't call out Maher after Maher said Snowden "revealed crimes that weren't crimes". She said they were "maybe not crimes but certainly infringements". Instead of backing off, she should've pounced. No matter what laws they put on the books to make spying "legal", none of those supersedes the constitution (a.k.a. "the supreme law of the land").

Maybe I'm wrong about this but my gut tells me that Bill Maher really believes the crap he's spewing. I'm hoping that he secretly knows he's wrong but feels far too embarrassed to admit it considering he donated $1 million plus he's been so public in his support of Obama.

To me, Bill Maher is one of the classic examples demonstrating how a person can be intelligent but also simultaneously be an utter and complete moron. On the surface it would seems as if those terms couldn't be used to describe the same person but I think they describe him to a tee. I think he's one of the all-time "useful idiots".

Then again, from his point of view, he probably thinks he's brilliant for achieving such fame and wealth. I wonder how he'll feel, though, when the country really starts falling apart. Knowing him, he'll probably just rationalize it with his (sincere) belief in the phony left/right paradigm (e.g. "the D's didn't have enough time to overcome the damage done by the R's").

Congress not acting to check expanded powers of the

executive branch is the key issue here - the point Liz Mair made. (A discussion between just her and West would have been more interesting.)

I found it telling that Maher could only find a redeeming quality about the president using the behavior of, say, Uday Hussein, as the standard, i.e., Maher's defending the killing of children with drones by saying that at least Obama wasn't doing it for fun.

You have just explained what

You have just explained what the university system is tasked with churning out since the take over of education by the large tax exempt foundations of the oligarchs in this country.
To understand what I am talking about you must learn of the interrupted work of the Reece committee and listen to the words of Norm Dodd before he died. This Reece investigation will most likely never be re-opened but it should...
If you have time to watch this it will be an hour well spent;

Thanks For The Video

I'm about 17 minutes in. Very interesting so far.

No problem

No problem

She hit the nail on the head..

congress is allowing the president to seize more and more power and I think it is because they don't have to take responsibility or blame for anything, they can just blame it all on the president.

Revolutionary Christian.

He made some good points and was fun to watch.

ecorob's picture

Bill Maher thinks its ok to cuss in his format...

and ridicule "revolutionary Christians" like Cornell West.

You get what you pay for. You get what you accept. I don't like Bill Maher's brand of "entertainment". Its not news. Its not comedy. What is it? Its fluff and garbage (Except when he has Cornell West on there).

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...

9/11 Truth.

What It Is

Bill Maher's form of entertainment almost feels like it's "news" if you're willing to buy the useful idiot nonsense he's spewing.

However, if you observe any lies/hypocrisy/etc then "you're a fool for taking a comedy/entertainment show so seriously". It can always be argued that "the anchor is a comedian for crying out loud"

It might have a little bit

It might have a little bit todo with the presidents "gentlemans" agreement of not prosecuting your predesecor in hopes your replacement extends the same "privelage"

opps- in response to buck50

God forbid we prosecute past

God forbid we prosecute past Presidents on crimes against humanity. I mean yeah, we wouldnt want to hold Presidents accountable for their actions now, would we? Lol, its like a sick joke.

The ACA is Obama's Trail of Tears

If Jackson got what he deserved when he began what was fulfilled under his hand-picked successor Van Buren, perhaps Obama wouldn't be as bold to offer a promised land journey that kills off a quarter of the population just to arrive at its forced destination, eh?
