Feedback Please- Business Idea- 50% to Ron Paul

Please give me your feedback on this idea that would allow me to give more to the Ron Paul campaign.

Seven months ago I ended a service that I ran for three years that sent a daily Bible verse via text message to people who had subscribed for $1.00 a month. Shortly after ending the service I learned about Ron Paul. I'm totally on board with the campaign- I've donated money and I'm a PCO in Washington state. I'm considering starting the text message service again and adding the option of a daily quote. I would give 50% of my gross (not net) to the Ron Paul campaign. After Dr. Paul is president (YES!), my idea would be to offer a list of charities that subscribers would like the 50% to be directed to.

So, a Bible verse and/or quote every weekday for $1.00 per month. What do you think of the idea? Is it something you think you and/or your fellow Ron Paul supporters would be interested in?

**Edit note- I also gave discounts for pastors or churches that wanted to offer the service. I had a whole youth group in Ohio subscribed.

nathalja- it actually is profitable, not enough to put my son through college, but enough for the work to be worth it. With donating 50% to Ron Paul it would be less profitable. This is why I'm trying to gage the interest.

$1 to send 30 text messages sounds like you're operating at a loss.

V1-P- I'm in Washington state, but have the software to time the messages to go to each time zone at a set time. I was doing it at 8:00 AM.

DaisyFL- Because of some personal commitments, I didn't have the time to advertise like I wanted to. My wife and I really enjoyed doing the service. Along with many individuals, we had a whole youth group in Ohio signed up at a discount rate.
