Confusing CNN Report: Investigators Have Placed A "Security Hold," on Paul Walker's Autopsy

http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/03/showbiz/paul-walker-death/inde...

Santa Clarita, California (CNN) -- The fire that engulfed the Porsche carrying actor Paul Walker apparently did not erupt until a minute after the car clipped a light pole Saturday.

.....

The autopsies were completed Tuesday, Los Angeles County Coroner Lt. Fred Corral said. But investigators have placed a "security hold" on it for now.

The coroner will not even disclose if the identities have been confirmed using dental X-rays. Officially, the dead are only identified as case numbers.

Corral did not give a reason for the secrecy, which can be requested by law enforcement agencies during an investigation. It is often done in cases involving criminal probes, but there has been no indication this is anything more than a traffic accident investigation.

.....

Video obtained by CNN Tuesday from a security camera posted on a building on the opposite side of the street from the crash does not show the Porsche Carerra GT crashing along a business park street in Valencia, California, Saturday afternoon.

It does show the light pole and tree falling. Smoke is faintly visible above the scene 60 seconds later, followed by a heavy plume of black smoke after two minutes.

Was that just a typo on CNN's part?

Did they really just say that a video from a security camera nearby does NOT show a car crash?

And why the secrecy?

Why would anyone want Paul Walker dead?

Just ask Randy Quaid. In 6 minutes, he explains why some people in Hollywood prefer dead actors.

Wealthy actors and recording artists are often targeted for their money.

Paul Walker was the face of the Fast and Furious, "franchise."

Update: Rolling Stone/NBC: There was no race, 45 Miles Per Hour

They were only going 45 miles per hour? Huh?

Just wait, it gets even more interesting.

Here we go...

Paul Walker's Death Not Caused by Street Race: Police

http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/paul-walkers-death-n...

Police investigating the car crash that killed actor Paul Walker Saturday do not believe the Porsche that the Fast & Furious star was riding in had been racing another car.

....

The vehicle was traveling at about 45 miles per hour near a curve where the speed limit drops to 15, an NBC reporter tweeted, citing unnamed sources.

----------- Full article linked above.

45 mph was the speed limit. How does a Porsche traveling at 45 mph get into an accident and blow up like that?

They were not racing. The closest thing to an accurate report of how fast they were travelling comes from an NBC reporter.

A 45-mph speed limit sign was on the light pole knocked down by the Porsche. A security camera video, which does not show the car itself, suggests that black smoke started to rise from the vehicle about a minute after the light pole and tree fell.

.....

Skid marks on the asphalt near the crash site, which indicate a car had done doughnut spins, also are being examined, but Torp told CNN that he looked closely at the skid marks and believes they were left by a car with smaller tires.

.....

In 2001, when the first "Fast & Furious" movie was released, Walker talked about the dangers of drag racing.

"Nothing would be worse than a 120-mile-an-hour blowout, on a surface street, you know, with pedestrians lining up and down. You know, it's just common sense, it's just not worth the risk factor," he said.

Authorities have ruled out drag racing in this accident, and those who knew Walker and Rodas say they were not the sort of people who would risk their lives and others' in a race.

I think it is quite clear that Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were NOT racing.

Rodas was driving the speed limit.

Roger Rodas was plenty capable of handling the Porsche. He wasn't just some car enthusiast friend either, he worked for Merrill Lynch too, and so happened to professionally race sports cars on the side.

http://www.autoweek.com/article/20131201/carnews/131209999

Rodas, though, moved up through the ranks from Porsche-only series like the Pirelli Driver's Cup, where he won twice in 2012, into the Pirelli World Challenge, leading a two-car Ford Mustang Boss 302S team, sponsored by Always Evolving and charities that he and Walker supported. Rodas raced car number 52.

....

Rodas, who turned 38 a month ago, and his Rodas Group company were well known in financial circles in California, largely through an enduring relationship with the investment firm Merrill Lynch.

According to his biography, he was “instrumental in developing waste to energy power plants and wind farms in Central America,” and he was also owner of Cielo Recycling, a Central American recycling plant.

He was ranked by Barron's three years in a row as one of America's top financial advisers.

Roger Rodas was Paul Walker's friend and financial advisor/manager.

As soon as I read, 'instrumental in developing waste to energy power plants and wind farms in Central America,' I couldn't help but think of how the CIA loves Central America so much and wishes nothing but rose pedals and lollipops for their people.

Who knows how deep the rabbit hole goes

Randy Quaid certainly sounded convincing (though, of course, he is an actor - and a good one). The naming of names (of still living people) gives his words more credibility IMO. Very interesting stuff.

I have teh answer

but only because I have the last rabbit to English dictionary

Just stop...

This is not a conspiracy.

You can see the burn marks on the crash spot. There is video of the crash right after it happened. There is indirect video of the crash including the car hauling A$$ right before a puff of smoke. There are pictures of the crashed car.

Don't turn this into some conspiracy plot because this CLEARLY does NOT fit the description.

I know several people in the racing scene who have died under similar circumstances. Power steering goes out mid run, they crash, fluids spill on exhaust, flames and they paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.

Speed did not kill!

it was the rapid deceleration!

I logged in to post that I think this is ridiculous

Then I watched Quaid's video and changed my mind.

I think it's worth watching his testimony. He makes a strong case from personal experience, naming names.

interesting to say the least.

not to mean that any actor who dies suddenly is automatically involved in some plot. but suspicion is healthy.

I've got it!

It was a secret cabal of New York film critics, trying to save the world from Fast and Furious 10 - Vin Diesel races the shriners on his Vespa

If they can make a very well

If they can make a very well known movie star disappear, imagine what they can do to you?

CNN is reporting that a nearby video camera shows no car crash, and the official autopsy reports are now under a security hold.

Just a little odd. Definitely nothing worth joking about.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Stop watching CNN.

Stop watching CNN.
