Pope Francis Endorses Government Theft, Wins Social Media

The new Pope is on the Internet and gosh darn it, people like him!

The Huffington Post is reporting that Pope Francis has garnered quite a following on the interwebs. Pope Francis has topped the list of what 1.2 billion users on Facebook are talking about worldwide. He beat out the likes of the Royal Baby, Margaret Thatcher, the Harlem Shake, and Miley Cyrus. Now that’s some stiff competition!

It’s not shocking to see people drawn to the new head of the Catholic Church. After all, Pope Francis seems like a pretty down to earth guy, compared to his predecessors. Many people took notice when he called on Catholic priests to drive more humble vehicles, then he backed up his words by choosing an old model Ford Focus as his Pope mobile.

Pope Francis has also been lauded for not taking a divisive stance on issues of abortion, gay marriage and contraception. He said, “A person once asked me, in a provocative manner, if I approved of homosexuality. I replied with another question: ‘Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?’ We must always consider the person. ”

When it comes to the Pope’s economic views the same praise is not deserved. In fact, Pope Francis can be counted among the masses that confuse capitalism and crony capitalism. When you consider the Pope’s growing influence, his views are downright frightening.

Two sides of the same coin

> Pope Francis can be counted among the masses that confuse capitalism and crony capitalism.

Leaving aside the full spectrum of ideology for a minute, let's compare libertarians vs. libertarians. Specifically, Ron Paul/Rothbard/Mises/AnCap leaning vs. Original/Socialist/Left/Bakunin flavors.

The former believe bad actors will inevitably dominate the government and use that privileged position to exploit us all. That exploitation will, of course, involve the use of government control to interfere with the marketplace. This system is known as "crony capitalism". Solution: Keep government is check or abolish it completely.

The latter believe bad actors will inevitably dominate the marketplace and use that privileged position to exploit us all. That exploitation will, of course, involve the use of money to interfere with the government. This system is known as "capitalism". Solution: Keep private enterprise in check or abolish it completely.

Both sides agree Joe Average is getting screwed at present. Both sides agree the ultimate cause is human nature.

And for endorsing govt. theft, Pope is Time Person of the Year.

This award is as bad as Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

I like that the new Pope is

I like that the new Pope is devoted to helping the poor. But one minute Pope Francis seems to be attacking the Federal Reserve and then the next minute he is condemning tax evasion. Over the past couple of years in the Prayers of the Faithful we have started praying that our government leaders will provide justice. Have any other Catholics wondered about that? What kind of justice are they talking about? Are they talking about immigration... healthcare... welfare... what? It just seems like all of a sudden we are meddling in government affairs.

What handouts does the US give the Vatican?

What US AID goes to the Vatican?

You mean the Vatican takes money from the Catholics nad gives it to people in need globally as being socialist? I don't see it.

The Church supplies the opiate for the masses.

In return for this mind-control, the government kicks back to them a portion of the Afghanistan opium crop that our guys are guarding. These are two entirely different kinds of drugs that have exactly the same short-term and long-term effects and the same huge profit margin.

That's what my Dad used to say

No human hated the Church more than my Dad.

I think the Catechism of The Catholic Church is a must read book, because I had NO IDEA how deep the Churchs roots were.. and let me tell you.. there is not a thing on this planet that the Church has not touched in some way. It's ALL illusion.. layers and layers like a matrix.

Also kind of amazing what the Church can do for those who can't do for themselves..

I like Church because I learn about many things.. I like my community. It sure beats having the crap beat out of you for saying "Jesus" by someone who thinks Church is an opiate.

years back

I found in the IRS manual, that the vatican gets a portion of all taxes collected.
This was a tribute to them personally.
But,it has been removed since then,so no one can find it anymore.
The queen of england, with direct ties to the popes and the vatican, calls some of the shots. As seen here

Upon looking,i found this site, any truth here?

Actually, here's a pdf that shows the irs collects from the Church

Queen is an Anglican, not a Catholic, though they are making amends as your remanat of God article says.

From my perspective, there is a globalization of secular corporate governments forming a global government for a NWO.. the Church, and Israel, are fighting the NWO.. they are the Old World, and global.

Half way there?

Have a look at this

f the Sovereign Pontiff should nevertheless, insist on his law being observed he must be obeyed. Bened. XIV., De Syn. Dioec, lib, ix., c. vii., n. 4. Prati, 1844. Pontifical laws moreover become obligatory without being accepted or confirmed by secular rulers. Syllabus, prop. 28, 29, 44. Hence the jus nationale, (Federal Law) or the exceptional ecclesiastical laws prevalent in the United States, may be abolished at any time by the Sovereign Pontiff. Elements of Ecclesiastical Law. Vol. I 53-54. So could this be shown that the Pope rules the world?

The Pope (Vicar of Christ) claims to be the ultimate owner of everything in the World. See Treaty of 1213, Papal Bulls of 1455 and 1492.

Good thing

things have changed since 1492, eh?

deacon's picture

how so?

things haven't gotten better,actually worse.
The papal bulls haven't changed, nor has the IRS changed
So,exactly what changed for the better?

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

For one

you don't have to be a Catholic to be a Christian.. Since martin Luther, you are free.

It looks to me like there has

It looks to me like there has been a faction in the Vatican that has been working for quite awhile trying to promote socialism. The following article explains that this faction is called the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. Until now their goal has been thwarted. It bothers me to say that Pope Francis seems to be on the verge of saying out loud that the world's governments should tax people even more to pay for the poor and needy. I may be wrong, but what do you make of this?

‘Tell me: when God looks at a

‘Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?’

Answer, reject and burn this person alive!

I guess this pope didn't do his homework on god, anybody remember Sodom and Gomorrah?

God has rejected them already (gays)

Maybe the pope should try reading the bible sometime. He can start by reading Romans 1:19-1:32. He will find the answer in those verses. Since he is so obsessed with conforming to worldliness, I would not expect him to.

Scripture doesn't matter to the Pope.

Didn't you know he is Christ and can make up his own rules. ;-)sarc The popes have been making it up for seventeen hundred years.

Rom 1:32 "Who knowing the judgment of Elohim, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

Like I have pointed out before, not only those who engage in the act but those who approve of the act are also just as guilty.

There has always been and will always be sinful(unlawful)behavior but when society condones that behavior then society is ready to fall. Hopefully since the whole world seems to be obsessed with promoting homosex then it is an indication of the last days of mans rule on earth.

not sure

I'm not sure what gebo means, but thanks for reading.

don't mean nothing

It's just goofy word play that seemed funny in the moment.
gebo is knowledge, that plays with Conservation of Energy.
Basically when one gives a gift, he is symbolically and literally giving away part of his energy. To maintain a balance or harmony the recipient is obligated to return the favor. If one receives friendship, he must return friendship. If one receives deceit, he must return deceit. And so on... In the larger scheme of things, All-Father gives us Life, which is a godly gift, therefore we owe a godly Life. The recent flurry of religion discussion compels me to share. :)
