**We Need To Get Ready for the convention Brothers and sisters**
That's Right. We need to turn St. Paul into Woodstock. Imagine if we could put 100,000+ Paulites into St. Paul that weekend. That should make the news. It would show the GOP where the real support is at. It could also be a good fundraiser for the campaign. If everyone who plans to go buys a Ron Paul Tee Shirt and promises to display it wherever they go. Imagine the effect this would have on the delegates who are their to vote. Everywhere they go they see people in RP tee shirts holding signs or whatever. Then Ron Paul gets an uncensored speech that I am sure will be dynamite by then. Its all about peer pressure folks and we need to show our peers we are serious. We can totally drown out the other supporters. We surround the convention center and take the nomination. So pack your bags brothers and sisters, Plan your summer vacations around this take your sick leave whatever. Be there because the revolution will end or begin in St. Paul Minnesota this year.
Paul Stock
Ok, so some people will prefer to stay in hotels. This is positive because it will draw a different crowd then the campers. It will also mean we have a good amount of people in the city 24 hours a day. It also will make it harder for other candidates to have supporters in the city due to lack of hotel rooms.
Now I also saw some excited posts about the Paul Stock idea. I am willing to offer hosting for a website for the event. If anyone is interested in making this a reality, email me at baristaman@gmail.com Lets do this!!!

I move that we make that, referring to each other as family, an official practice for all of us that have stood, and stand, for Liberty!
With all the ignorance and outright oppression we have in our faces, we need a term to refer to one another that is endearing while we continue the fight... one that draws us together and strengthens our bond to one another for the tough times ahead.
Let's face it my bothers and sisters, we are going to need each other and will need to be able to depend on each other in the months and YEARS ahead. We've got a long haul to accomplish what we need to accomplish... and I, for one, look at you as family.
Room blocks
We should start calling hotels and blocking rooms under a name like "Paulstock" to guarantee the best rates as well as availability. Then we could post the hotels and their rates here and everyone who needs accommodation can reserve their own rooms under the general hold.
The hotels will hold the rooms and rates under our room block for a certain amount of time and if all the rooms are not reserved by members of Paulstock they will be opened up for general availability. This shouldn't cost anyone anything to put a block on some rooms. We did this for our wedding as all the guests were coming from out of town.

I've filed for a delegate spot in Arkansas. I encourage all of you, if you haven't done so, and the process is still open in your state, to file to be a delegate. In most states, there is some election process, in mine, it is the state party convention. But the state party is bound to seat delegates based upon a formula dealing with the primary election results. Even if I don't get elected to a delegate seat, I will be there to protest outside. But to answer a question, no, they will not allow RP protestors inside (unless they are delegates). I hope I get to be inside.

We won't be crashing the convention
Nobody's planning on ransacking the place...at least I sure hope not! Here is how the NYC meetup group describes their plans to assemble peacefully outside the convention:
Together we will stand arm in arm with candles lit to symbolize our desire for peace, as we support the delegates inside the convention hall who will decide the future of the free world.

Somehow I get the feeling if
Somehow I get the feeling if too many RP supporters show up wearing RP T-shirts and holding RP signs, they will not allow those people into the convention(or they may just allow a few in), and will make them stay outside with the rest of the crowd. Any one else forsee this happening? I can't imagine them allowing RP supporters to pack the convention inside. The old guard GOP who is very anti-RP just won't allow it I'm afraid. Would be great if I was wrong though.

This idea is the best I've heard since Paul-a-Palooza and this time people have the advance notice needed to make such a commitment. We need to organize...I'm speaking to the others who have posted comments on this as well as Daily Paul and anyone who has organizing motivation.
The idea of finding a farm on the outskirts of town is certainly the best I think. Hotels for this many people would be impossible and the money would be better spent on the campaign. This event must inspire people to give up their personal comforts for a much higher purpose!
Let's organize this! Anyone living in Minn. out there have contacts? Know any pro-Paul farmers?

I think this is an awesome idea. What if we find a farm outside of St Paul willing to let us camp there, just like the original woodstock. The original woodstock was a revolution in thinking, and ours would be revolution in government. We could probably cover the event insurance with donations. And we could turn it into a couple day event, culminating in taking buses downtown for a protest of support. If we do anything though I my fiance and I will be there, we will also have two extra seats for other N.Y. people.

But everyone needs to remember (or look up) the Democratic convention of '68. The election that year was absolutely crazy. We don't need any repeats.

If we keep getting robbed of votes we will not be at any convention unless the 3rd party runners have one. LA we were robbed blind. I heard on the radio last night a guy who was a delegate for RP. He says they intentionally used the old records of registered republicans and in fact destroyed RP delegate ballots for 30 minutes before the guy could get proof back to them that their list was old. How many ballots can be destroyed in half an hour? I guess it depends on if your name is Ron Paul or not that determines that.

We need to secure all the rooms within a 100 miles
So that our delegates can get to the convention on time, seeing as how the streets are going to be pretty well clogged up in the vicinity with Ron Paul celebrations.

Not to sound
negative, but I sure hope the campaign is preparing for the convention and will let the delegates know way ahead of time if we have any preparation to do. I am on the ballot in Tennessee to be a delegate and if I get voted in, I for one do not want to find out at the last minute that this or that should have been done. It was like that when we were gathering signatures to be on the ballot. It was also like that on trying to find out how to even become a delegate.

Good Lord willing, we know that Ron Paul will be there! And since he will have stood the flak of a unfair media, and GOP, his very presence will command extra attention. McCain is a gas bag. Mitt's a slick lawyer, but has very little experience compared to Ron. The media will have a very hard time marginalizing Ron Paul if he stands through to the convention, and he will. Great Plan - Massive Show at the Convention!
