Why Did God Create Gay Men?

Because not all woman have good taste?

Because the goddess of fashion needed a helping hand by her fellow man?

Because men would never stop killing their fellow man unless they were attracted to them?

Some people still think being gay is not, "natural," even though we were all conceived and made in the same flesh.

I don't think slurping diet Pepsi is, "natural," but that's a different subject altogether.

I swear to God Almighty I did not have a choice in the matter. If I could flip a switch and be straight, I'd do it in a heartbeat because being heterosexual is a hell of a lot easier than being gay.

I could get married, have kids, meet people in a normal way...and have a family of my own. I've known I was gay since I was 4 years old. When I meet an attractive guy, I can't simply hit on him and ask for his number in public. It's a far different world than anyone who has not lived in my shoes would ever know.

For every man who comes out of the closet, at least 3 stay in it because life's a lot easier today living a lie as many have shown, but I digress.

Why did God create gay men?

Why did God want men to be attracted to other men?

I think God did it to help preserve and foster life.

How is that so, when gay men don't procreate?

Because if one man is attracted to another, they are less likely to kill one another.

Simple preservation of life.

If a man thinks another man is beautiful and is attracted to him, he's a lot less likely to kill him.

And life goes on.

Why am I so bitter and cynical? I'd much rather be idealistic, like Walt Disney or Nikola Tesla. I'd like to be confident and hopeful. Why am I easily distracted by the senseless and silly, when other things, such as schoolwork, have much greater priority and I know it?

I'm not. We all - every single one of us - have vices that we must overcome. We don't get a say in what it is.

bonobos practice pedophilia!

I freaked when I saw that bonobo book on the list. Is that the next thing we're going to be pressed to accept as 'normal'?
I watched a nature program on bonobos and it said they were fiercely sexually driven in the morning. The little ones would huddle all together, scared, knowing what fate was about to befall them. I watched a male approach the group and they began screaming and were desperately clinging to each other. One poor thing was wrenched away from the others and the rape began, all the while the poor little thing was screaming and crying.
That was all I could watch. I was sickened! SICKENED! Don't try to convince me I'm anything like that brutal, deviant species.
I am a human being, capable of thought and determined to be as non-violent as possible. But when something I disagree with is being forced upon me, or when the obnoxious idea that God created someone 'gay', which utterly destroys the idea of self-determination, when we all know it's not in about genes but our minds - even if it's because the mind is being stimulated by chemicals - then I have every right to defend myself.

First, let me say that no one is saying we should model ourselves after either bonobos or chimps. That would be sheer insanity. I only brought up bonobos because someone was claiming there was no homosexuality among animals, which is completely incorrect.

Rape is common among chimps. Chimps even make "wife beating" equipment, which are big sticks prepared ahead of time to beat females into submission if they refuse to mate.

Bonobos, on the other hand, have female dominated communities. A lone male has no power, because the females will gang up on him. The girls stick together.

And what do you mean by pedophilia? Bonobos practice all kinds of sex, in all combinations, except for one. There is no mother and son intercourse, which probably evolved to prevent inbreeding. Mothers will massage their babies genitals, though. Is that what upset you?

I was reading the TV guide and had never heard of bonobos so decided to watch what I thought would be a pleasant nature program.
What upset me was watching a group of young bonobos clinging to each other and screaming because some male wanted to get off and was hunting the younger ones. You make it sound as if there's consent among the group, that every bonobo wants it up the rear end. That's NOT what I saw. I didn't watch the entire program and turned it off after seeing the male grab the juvenile and start mating with him. In this instance it did not look as if the younger one wanted it, or any of the young ones wanted the older male to mate with them. All I know is I didn't want to watch an older anything copulate with a young anything. Thankfully I don't know anyone who would like to watch that kind of thing.

God Didn't Create "Gay" men

He created men, giving them free will, they chose a lifestyle, they have refused to fight the evil that has convinced them that it is ok.

But the "they were born that way, we should embrace their diversity" is just as wrong.

The former is wrong, because people deserve privacy, and to be left alone if they don't injure anyone.
