How did this troll get in

How did this troll get in here? Same guy to post the against israel thread. He seems to be trying to stir things up with blatently inflaming posts.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Fixed it for you...

I can't understand anyone who supported an honest person with integrity like Ron Paul could have supported a dishonest, corrupt, greed filth politician like ROMNEY.

Wake up !

It's not L vs R or D vs R... it's us vs them.

You can say the same thing about those that voted for...

Rand Paul 2016 for Peace

If my choices,

not that I voted for him, were/are John McCain or Mitt Romney, I'd have voted for Obama if his afro was three feet wide, and he talked like Mushmouth on Fat Albert.

Ron Paul

Supporters actually voted for Obama? After talking about the lesser evil? I voted for Gary Johnson.

I understand the sentiment

but not everyone has been 'awake' as long as we have, either. I have relatives who voted for both McCain and Romney, and one whom I believe may have voted for Obama. (and yes, they were RP supporters before choosing to vote 'for the lesser of two evils'). Admittedly, I did tell them what I thought, but tried to do it with at least some reason and tact. They often still believe that only a R or D can be elected, I was there once, as well. The more folks realize for themselves how the two party system just gives us the opposite side of a counterfeit bill (and they all would be regarded as such by the Founders, you know:) greater the likelihood of restoring 'liberty in my lifetime'.

How Long have you been awake?

I voted for Bush. I voted for McCain. After 9/11 I woke up, but Obama scared me so much I voted for McCain. I so regret it now and feel like a dumb a$$ for it. My friend was a huge Ron Paul supporter in 08 and I didn't even care what he had to say. Its sad. When Ron Paul started speaking during debates I was like my gosh... this guy is the one. I agree with every thing he has to say. Its like a clone me. I instantly fell in love... not in a gay way. Didn't mean to type so much but my point was I haven't been awake for so long. My last straw for the GOP was when they booed Ron Paul when he mentioned the Golden Rule. Since I am Christian, it made me think that these people don't know what Christianity really means yet they claim they are with God? I caught Judge Nap saying choosing the lesser evil is still evil. He made perfect sense and I will no longer choose evil.

Honestly, not as long as my husband, but since '07

Voted for Baldwin in '08. I have to admit that part of the reason it was a pain to think of voting for Mc Cain was that he showed disdain for Ron Paul, and made absolutely no effort to hide it. The Booing of Ron's mention of the Golden Rule turned me off, as well. SO I voted for Chuck Baldwin and Virgil Goode the second time. I do not consent to vote for the lesser of two evils either, especially when we (in our state) have so many other choices.

1 very specific reason

The old Republican Guard intentionally uses fear and unjust laws to push their agendas. Their saving grace is that when they are not in power, they fight against the Democratic partys fear and unjust laws.

While the democratic party does NOT fight against the republicans unjust laws, because usually it's the very thing the democrats want passed to begin with. With a democrat in power the Republicans will fight against them. This is why Obama was a far better choice than Romney.

A good example: Patriot Act was attempted under Clinton and Republicans vehemently shot it down. George Bush presses it, and it had no opposition.

We would have lost far more under Romney than Obama, at least people fight against Obama, could you imagine if Romney was doing all the things Obama is right now? Would any Republican try and stop him?

Not a chance in hell...

"People who supported Ron

"People who supported Ron Paul but voted for Obama in the last election should be ostracized."

As much as we might like to punish stupidity, none of us would survive long in this life if we did.
Stupidity is it's own punishment - in my opinion.

Weren't' you asked to leave or get banned for just this sort of fire-starter, divisive behavior before?

I just don't understand why

I just don't understand why you guys were so against Romney. Romney was talking about auditing the Fed during the campaign. Obama is now giving more power to the Fed.

This is probably why you

This is probably why you don't understand why most of us would rather see the Democrats in power than republicans. Democrats will @#$% things up so badly, that it gives a man like Ron or Rand Paul an actual shot at winning. Romney would have put the entire right movement back to sleep and we'd be in the same position as we were with Bush; banks in control.

You need to pull you head out of your ass and quit worrying about Obama. Obama isn't the problem. Obama is a @#$%ing puppet with no real power to do anything.

You need to understand you are owned by a central bank who loves nothing more than when people fixate on whatever scapegoat they put in the white house rather than looking past all the bullshit to see the men behind the curtain.

Obama is meaningless. Bush was meaningless. Its the Rothschild's banking empire you SHOULD be ostracizing.

You're kidding...

"I am Troll fighter, number one"

I down voted buttt

All the people I debated during the election that liked Ron Paul but still voted in the end for Obama are now totally ashamed to admit it , some just outright lie to me now and say they didn't vote for Obama but we all need to keep in mind that Romney or McCain would have been just as bad or worse for different reasons.

I voted Libertarian in both elections;

however, I don't think there was much difference between McCain and Obama in 2008 or Romney and Obama in 2012. In fact, I think we would have more gun control now had either McCain or Romney been elected because the Republican in the House and Senate would not have fought against anything a Republican President proposed and events might have spurred a Republican President to propose more control.

All three of these are big government clowns ruled by the aristocracy. We would still have the Federal Reserve money scam no matter which of the three was elected. We would still have the medical/drug monopoly that decides which drugs are legal and suppresses alternative, often effective cures. We would still have the NSA to spy on us at home, and Homeland Security to trample our freedoms. We would still have frequent wars to control world resources. We would still have increasing taxes.

I think it is delusional to think any of the real problems of the US are going to be eliminated at the ballot box; the system simply has been taken over and is beyond the control of the population. Until the system collapses, and the population rises up to eliminate the ruling aristocracy (probably French Revolution style) we will continue on the present course. And right now the pain, as serious as it is for some people, is not sufficient for enough people to do much of anything; desperation is the driver of real change, and we must wait for that desperation to become widespread.

In the meantime brainwashing by government controlled institutions like schools, universities, and the media continue to keep many people supporting our thug government.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

So many slimeball Neo-Cons and Likudists on the DP

Trying to spin the left/right illusion.

Ron Paul transcends that kind of crap.

That's why we all love him!

Obama/Romney is no choice at all. It's an illusion.

We all make mistakes

This author is spewing his vitreol and it won't fix what we are dealing with. His divisive terms "liberals this, liberals that" are counterproductive. I'm a socially liberal, fiscally conservative Libertarian and damn proud. Why? Because I have a choice.

What crap ....

Right-Wing polices over the course of the last 40 years have destroyed the middle-class, and made the gap between the rich and poor higher than any other Industrialized nation in the World. One out of every three Americans now live below the poverty line.

While there were no good choices in the last Election, preventing Mitt Romney from winning was meaningful in some major ways:

For starters, Mitt Romney (like John McInsane) was a big, pro-IRAN WAR guy. Starting a War with Iran would necessarily draw in China and especially Russia -- leading to a reckless WWIII scenario spiraling out of control. So far, Obama has not taken the bait, and he has not been stupid enough to commit to starting War against Iran.

Secondly, Romney is a devotee of the Bush family, and Dick Cheney (citing him in 2012 as someone who would make a great cabinet choice). Romney is extremely close to the people who engineered the Sept. 11 (false flag) tyranny, and I firmly believe that there would have been another large scale 9/11 type of event -- had Romney been in power. Instead, with Obama, the best they could setup was just the Boston Marathon bombing event .. which lacked the sophisticated propaganda around it and scapegoating to be effective as a Foreign War justification vehicle. But if you had close friends of Romney's like Dick Cheney working in the White House (as part of Romney's cabinet), or Jeb Bush (former PNAC member) -- then something severe and extreme would have happened, and we would be stuck deep in new Warfare somewhere else (Iran, Syria, Russia), and with a renewal of human torture programs.

Finally, Romney is just a toady of the wealthy robber baron class that totally ruined this Country, and he doesn't even try to hide it in public (like most Republicans).

And the whole ObamaCare concept was modeled and crafted after Mitt Romney's own plan in Massachusetts (coming from a right-wing think tank). That's right, ObamaCare was a right-wing, corporate-profit plan, disguised as "reform", to push away any momentum behind lowering the age of Medicare.

Anyone who thinks that right-wing, Wall-Street, pro-War policies (which is all we have gotten for decades regardless of who has been elected) which has done nothing but hollow out the Country and leave behind a rising trail of rising poverty, corporate theft, bloodshed, and ignorance over the past 40 years ... is somehow a "good thing" -- needs to turn off FOXNews and Rush Limpballs and take their heads out of their butts.

And no ... Hillary Clinton is not a "liberal" either. She is a pro-War, pro-Wall-Street, right-wing lawyer for the wealthy embraced by the robber barons.

The only change in this Country could ever come from principled Alan Grayson style liberals (a very rare breed), and Ron Paul libertarians (which is also very rare -- and quite different from Rand Paul).

Many things...

Many things are hard to understand.

Here's one: How could Republican conservatives support Romney over Ron Paul? They are the ones who are really responsible for having Obama elected because they chose an unelectable candidate (for themselves) in the primaries. These people are clearly absolute idiots without rival.

The problem is not Democrats. The problems is Republicans who lack the intellectual clarity to become libertarians and libertarians who lack the physical discipline to become riflemen. ---Kenneth Royce

Oh, and BTW, you ought to read up on Lincoln. He has, by any measure, a much greater claim on being the worst president. Of course, picking a worst president is like trying to pick a worst bowel movement out of the sewer.

After everyting Ron Paul

told us, they still voted for Obama? You should be ashamed. I didn't vote for Romney either. The fact that you cowards put in a dictator shows how stupid you are.

ryno - you cant understand

I know you cant. You're a Hannitty guy. this sounds like the script from one of the fox shows.
wake up!

You said he would have been a turncoat - Like Hamilton?
Romney was Bush II and THAT would have gotten us sooooo much further huh?

Jackson County Georgia

War is an instrument entirely inefficient toward redressing wrong; and multiplies, instead of indemnifying losses.
Thomas Jefferson

If I could go back in time

I would vote for Romney. Obama has got to be the worst President in history.

Glenn Beck was right

Most of Ron Paul Supporters are ignorant Obama supporters. Cowards. Go ahead mark me down, but you truly are a coward.

Wow... You were at -8 votes, before my +1...

Just goes to show how much the lefties have INFILTRATED this site...
Oh, well, just have to keep on keepin' on...

This is a site for INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY, Sound Monetary/Fiscal policy, Conserving the Constitution, and honoring the message and ideals of RON PAUL!!!

Nothing can be more opposite of those things than Obama.

I agree that Romney would have been worse, because under Obama, it is clear that LEFT-WING SOCIALIST policies (which the Neo-cons endorse as well) are what's destroying this country. Under Romney, the exact same policies would happen but folks would blame 'republicans'/conservatives for the left's policies.

I voted for Garry Johnson because Ron Paul was not on the ballot. How anyone who supports Ron Paul could vote Obama is beyond me.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

and in 2016 they will vote for Hitlery and will get fooled again. Libs are stoopid. That's how they got to be libs.

Socialists are not for

Socialists are not for liberty. They are in the wrong country for that. We now live in the USSA.

If Romney was running the show

We'd have drones, NSA

We'd have Romneycare

We'd still have a puppet reading from a teleprompter

John McCain and Lindsay Graham would still go the White House for dinners

We would still be shipping our taxes to Egpyt, Israel, Pakistan to give them their welfare checks.

We'd have even worse budget battles. Why? Because if Romney was in power we'd have to cough up another 7 trillion dollars for war in Iran.

It was Ron Paul or none at all. Romney sucks. Get over it.

I didn't vote for Romney or Obama

But I am starting to think Romney would have been a better option. Sadly to say
