So what are the Louisiana official results?

Last count we had 10 delegates....how many did McCain have? Is he still ahead of Dr. Paul?
»

the BRAND new republican governor Bobby Jindal ...
is all about changing Louisiana's corruption image. That was Jindal's whole campaign platform and he won with majority of the vote and didn't even have to compete in a run-off (a first in Louisiana history). He could be for us.
Should we email him nicely and ask him to allow this democratic process
to take place the way the people intend it to????
Louisiana people give us feedback.
Ron Paul 2008
Somewhere between 10 and 44 delegates (out of 105)
Names of Paul delegates can be found at http://attheparade.blogspot.com/2008/01/louisiana-republican...
(jump to the delegate list directly at http://static.scribd.com/docs/7vn951wxzx0nu.swf)
Before provisional ballots, Paul had 5 delegates.
After some provisional ballots were counted, Paul had 10 delegates (district 3 and 7 were not counted because they could not change the result). This is the "official" result on www.lagop.com.
Only about 25% of provisional ballots have been approved. Not all of them went to Paul delegates, but most did. As I understand it from the campaign, the party validated the provisional voters based on the date their registration was recorded in the computer, rather than the date they submitted the registration form. They seem to be pursuing this to the local clerks offices to get the paper registrations.
Here is the "official" delegate count by district, the pick up from the pre-provisional count, and the potential if most of the remaining provisional ballots are ultimately counted for Paul:
District 1 - 1 (picked up 1 - likely max is 14)
District 2 - 2 (picked up 2 - likely max is 13)
District 3 - 0 (none possible)
District 4 - 2 (picked up 1 - likely max is 4)
District 5 - 5 (picked up 1 - likely max is 6)
District 6 - 0 (likely max is 7)
District 7 - 0 (none possible)
So we won somewhere between 10 and 44 delegates. Out of 105, that's between 10% and 42%.
This is the old tally.

Looks the same as the new tally the other poster put on here. I do not think those are updated numbers.

As a one time Louisiana resident
I can tell you that Louisiana is about as politically corrupt as it is possible for a state to be.
I have no doubt that the results have been doctored to serve the interest of the power establishment.
"The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence." Thomas H. Huxley
and what isn't corrupt, is quite simply incompetence... sadly
That is why we need more of the Ron Paul supporters (smart peeps) there to run for office. I'm a former resident of the Bayou state also.
You have to admit though, outta all the friggen states, did you ever think in a million years that LOUISIANA would come through for RP even with a second place finish???
Ron Paul 2008
GOP website says results are now official
www.lagop.com
But all they show are the delegate lists and raw votes. No way to tell how many top candidates won and who they support for president.
Wasn't there a list
that showed the delegates? Who had that list? It was on here the day after the caucuses.
