Need some help please - Federally funded University employee publicly attacking my sheep farmSubmitted by alterego on Fri, 12/20/2013 - 11:47
I am asking for some assistance in compiling information to help my dairy sheep farm from being attacked by a person who get paid by a federally funded university.
There is an employee at the University of Wisconsin that is attempting to discredit and defame my Dairy Sheep farm with absolutely no justification.
I would like to know what I can do legally, and if anyone here knows where to find how much federal funding the University receives and also if it's public record how much this person gets paid by the university?
I am saving screen shots and emails that have been circulating the internet with this individual attempting to discredit the heritage of my sheep. I don't want to air all the dirty laundry here for the world to see so please PM me if you have any questions or suggestions.
The DP houses some of the brightest anti-government minds I know and I'm hopeful some of you can help point me in the right direction.
I may add... I am the first person in the united states to import Awassi dairy sheep into the country in 2011. All of my animals are pedigreed and I have all the official documentation to back my statements. The problem I'm having with this individual stems from his involvement with an investor who imported Awassi sheep to the USA the following year 2012. I don't have any issue with the investor who put up the funds to import but he has partnered with the University employee to profit from the sale of the sheep. This University employee is the president of the dairy sheep co-op and he gets paid by the university to do dairy sheep research. BTW their sheep don't have any documented pedigrees and they are attempting to discredit the bloodline of my sheep. Just seems wrong on so many different levels and some of the public posts he has made online are frustrating to read with the false implications and underlying theme promoting his sheep are superior.
I have a very highly regarded name in the dairy sheep industry in the USA and I am an independent, self funded sheep farmer who is starting to feel some pressure from a federally funded university employee. Any advice from the DP community is greatly appreciated
