Republicans Talk A Good Game About The Constitution, But Will They Cave To The Democrats When It Comes Down To It?

Birther, truther, tea-bagger, etc. are names that have dominated mainstream media. While many so-called republicans preach the Constitution, how many actually abide by it, or understand it and the founders intent?

So-called republicans are the first-in-line to scream and/or post an article concerning obama's social security number, birth certificate or his fathers citizenship. But will they throw all of that away to nominate an "R" when that "R" himself is not eligible to run for the highest office?

If they do, the socialists will rejoice, for it would be the republicans who have once and for all sealed the fate and established precedent that has been up for "debate" since the socialists began taking over.

Senator Cruz was born December 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and thus automatically a Canadian citizen. Cruz's father was born in 1939 in Matanzas, Cuba, his mother born in Wilmington, Delaware. Cruz announced that he is renouncing his Canadian citizenship. [See “natural born citizen” as required by Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the US Constitution for President and by the 12th Amendment for Vice President.]

Republicans haven't cared about Cosntitution, ever.

the Party helped Lincoln relegate it to the trash heap of history in the 1860s.

Free includes debt-free!

It's all just more lies.

This is just another ploy to make people think that the republicans stand with God and the Constitution. The GOP is far worse them the dems. The repubs. have to lie far more; they are suppose to be for small government and balanced budgets, and they are suppose to know who is eligible to president and who is not. The GOP let British citizen Obama slide through with his British-citizenship father and spending years in Indonesia when dual nationalities were prohibited. Cruz will get a pass also and be allowed to run for POTUS, IMO. Congress nearly did the same for McShame.

Beware when you have to hope for elected officials in power to do the right thing when it should be expected.

I wouldn't call it "caving in", since they have the same goals

Look what the Republicans gave us the last time they controlled the House, Senate, and White House.

I should have titled it differently.

But yes, you are right.

I haven't seen much republican interest in the birther issue.

Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of constitutional hypocrisy on display for both parties, but to generalize republicans on this issue is a non-starter. They have been stone quiet on the issue.

Undo what Wilson did

Go to

freedomworks and see for yourself. They do not involve themselves in deep debate, but they do post/link many articles.

Sheriff Arpaio got how much traction in the republican house

Republicans traditionally

Republicans traditionally could give two sh1ts about due process rights. One need only look at the fascist criminal justice system in red states compared to many blue states. Republicans invented the police state.
