OathKeepers: Merry Christmas from Oathkeepers, (Please read before or after Christmas Day?!)

Oathkeepers posted Christmas thoughts on the 24th:

"If entire armies can stand-down for one day, such as during the famous Christmas Truce of WWI (when soldiers from both sides played soccer and exchanged gifts before resuming the grisly “business” of killing each other), then so can we. It brings to mind the writer's desire that you save this message for after Christmas, but my children and hubby are watching a favorite movie together, and they agreed I could keep my computer time. They also link the carol as sung by Hall and Oates, It Came Upon the Midnight Clear(Don't miss this!)

Thank you, Libera_me

Nice message to remember and not just during the Holidays!

"Gather your friends and family close, and cherish them."

Yet with the woes of sin and strife
The world has suffered long;
Beneath the angel strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And man, at war with man, hears not
The love-song which they bring;
O hush the noise, ye men of strife
And hear the angels sing.

( It Came Upon a Midnight Clear)

If Wars Can Be Started by Lies, They Can Be Stopped By Truth.

Sobering memory...

thanks, Libera_me.

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
9/11 Truth.

I found this fascinating, but I question whether

war would actually take a 'holiday' any more, especially with all the wars the neo-cons and the liberal 'freedom fighters' are fighting.

One bump for oathkeepers.
