We pray, God, for success in restoring this Republic and our Constitution, which has been paid for with blood. We pray for the Victory.
We pray for Dr. Paul to be strengthened, sustained and protected.
We pray for each other and all who support him and this "The Great Revolution of 2008". We pray God to sustain and protect us, give us courage, and multiply our efforts.
We pray for those who do not yet support Ron Paul, that the scales of blindness may fall from their eyes, that their hearts may turn to the message of God's liberty as espoused in the Constitution.
We pray for the troops that they may return quickly and safely to strengthen and protect our own borders. We pray for their families.
We pray for peace here, at home, and in the world.
We pray that evil may be exposed and overcome.
We pray for this country and its people, that they may take courage and do what is right, letting the consequence follow.
We pray in "thankfulness for the blessings given us by His hand", even the opportunity to be a part of the "Great Revolution of 2008". In the name of Your Son, Amen.

Prayer is selfish
Have you said a prayer where you didn't want something? God must think humans are the most selfish beings ever created.
Ron Paul Prays and so...
did the Founders and so do I. Maybe you should try it. It doesn't have to be selfish. I would not call our prayer in behalf of others selfish,

I praised him this morning for how far we have come. You don't even need to ask; only acknowledging the will of God and giving him glory will provide so many blessings to you and all that you do for the cause of good.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." - Ephesians 6:12
Even just the slightest acknowledgment of God will give you power over those forces that want to destroy all good in the world.

Why Pray?

what will that mean? We'll say that God had other plans? If so, then what is the point of praying for victory anyway if God is going to do what he plans on doing regardless?

to not pray...Does it hurt for those of us who believe in God to call upon him for relief from the slavery that has been forced upon us?! God answers prayers in My Opinion, and therefore I will be praying, but as I said, you can opt out if you so desire. This forum is really not about whether there is a God that answers prayers. As I thought we all believed, as long as we do not do things that harm others, we should be free to do so. It is offensive to be mocked for simply desiring to pray as a collective group or personally. Do you really believe in Ron Paul's message of freedom or Liberty? Do you mock him for praying?

I don't think Paul should pray...
I don't think Paul should pray, if what he's doing is asking for favors. I think praying for God to do things, including asking God to manipulate elections, is damaging to individuals' psychology and motivation. The individual starts feeling that it's God's responsibility to take care of things instead of oneself accepting responsibility for the world. And it's waste of time, because it's irrational to think that God would change his mind on who he supports for president based on our prayers and then somehow get in people's heads as they go into the polls and cause them to choose Paul. What's he going to do, add up how many people are praying for each candidate and then go with which candidate has the most people praying? It's ridiculous. So not only is that degrading to God, but it's degrading to oneself. That time spent praying would be better spent making a campaigning phone call.

We do not affect who God supports, but we can know who he wants us to choose for president and who he would support.
God supports Ron Paul and here is the reason why:
Freedom, liberty, moral agency is God-given and in our case, in this country, secured by the contract/document we know as the Constitution. Therefore if God creates through man, a divinely inspired document, as Ron Paul referred to our Constitution, and that document secures the moral agency God gave to man, then it would follow that God would support those who best sustain such a document.
Ron Paul, in deed and word, best exemplifies the actions of one who up- holds those principles upon which the Constitution is founded. There is no other presidential candidate that has even mentioned the Constitution during the campaign. Moreover, there are few among the congress and senate that keep there oath to defend the Constitution. Neither do the supreme court judges, nor do all the judged in the courts of the land, for the most part.
Now you know wherein the true terrorism lies, and how far off course is this once-great nation. So…you can see that we have a big job ahead of us.
John Quincy Adams said, “Posterity—you will never know how much it cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.” We do know it cost the blood and treasure of many a good man of that time. We are now about to find out what it will cost us. Are we willing to pay the price?

I'm trying to motivate people to do something instead of asking God to do something. God is not going to come in and manipulate the election based on prayers, so it's a waste of time. I'm notifying people of this in order to help Paul.
Notifying whom exactly?
People who believe in God? Good luck 'notifying them' that prayers don't do shit. You obviously haven't considered what 'faith' means to people who have it. Just notifying you.

God will bring it. However, even as Yahweh used David to fight Goliath as an instrument in His hands, so will he use Dr. Paul, our modern day Goliath, and all of us to help bring to pass HIs purposes.

As Jehosophat prayed to Yahweh on behalf of all the assembly, he knew that the ONLY ONE who could bring the victory against many enemies is Yahweh....so too this is true today. There are many enemies that are against this campaign....the established 2 parties, the msm, the 'church', the national organizations (pro-life, ect..).
So bottom line, we need SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION, for no matter how good our efforts are the battle is too big without Father giving the victory.
