Ever wonder why the war in Iraq costs so much? In this short clip, you'll learn about the 'legal' way to steal from the government: Cost-Plus, no-bid contracts that encourage the wasteful spending of our money. The more money the corporations spend, the more money they get to pad their bottom line. It's a great deal for a tiny minority, but it comes at the expense of the peace and prosperity of the entire world.
- Haliburton charging us $100 for each bag of soldiers' laundry they do.
- A lavish, five star, ocean view resort for KBR orientation (billed to us, of course)
- Mismanagement & waste: ordering the wrong computers, equipment & supplies. Whoops! Better get rid of it by dumping it into "burn pits," setting it on fire, and writing it off as waste, then charging it to taxpayers (of course).
- Brand new, $75,000 trucks, without parts -- destroyed for lack of an oil filter, or a spare tire
And don't forget, the outsourcing of torture to private corporations. All in our name.
The truth is - the majority of people don't want this and would be unhappy with it -- that is, if they knew about it. Why don't we know about it? This is yet another reason to turn off the TV.
What can we do about it? How have we lost our power?
I am convinced that the more people know about the truth, the more Dr. Paul's message will resonate among the people. Please help spread the word.

And to think I was upset after reading World Net Daily's Joseph Farah's choice for President, who said this about "misguided" Ron Paul....
"...Paul is so dead wrong about the real threat of Islamo-fascism to the security of our nation he has rendered his otherwise impeccable congressional voting record irrelevant".
So, what am I to make of the US blatantly stealing from the American public with these autrocities in Iraq!
