Disconnect

This speech illustrated well the disconnect between The People and the Senate. He said that all the Republican Representatives and over 100 Democratic Representatives in The House voted to audit the FED, yet the Senate ignores The People and it is 'business as usual'. Yet we keep reelecting those pompous fossils.

"yada, yada, yada" Why did

"yada, yada, yada" Why did Rand not vote "NO" to app't. of Yellen? or am I confused here?

His flight to DC was delayed

From his Facebook page:

"Senator Paul's flight to DC this afternoon was delayed, and it is not clear when he will be able to speak tonight. We will keep you updated."

It is a tactic he started along time ago

He has never voted against any Obama appointee. He says its Obama's prerogative under the constitution.

He is setting the stage for when he gets elected press and starts appointing some radical folks.

Séamusín

Radical meaning

people who uphold the Constitution.

Why did Rand vote no....

I believe he said in the final minute of the video, that he opposes her nomination because she will continue 'quantitative easing' (printing money that is not backed by wealth), to further destroy the dollar. Earlier he stated that she was one of the architects of quantitative easing, which is bad.

It is one thing to speak out

It is one thing to speak out against her nomination...It's quite another to actively put your words into action and actually vote "NO". The fact that he did not go on record to vote "NO" says a lot to me. He's all theater.

No doubt

As liberty people here continue to question the Senator's loyalty, who's side are you on? Who's your champion to pick up the mantle? Which of the other senators arguing for auditing the fed and opposing the general warrants of the NSA is doing a better job than the Kentucky guy? Is it the Senator that rides a unicorn in the land where the Constitution is not in danger of becoming a dead letter?

Thank you Rand Paul, for your

Thank you Rand Paul, for your fight that no other senator dares to join.

I get the feeling that Rand could have gone on, and on, and on.

Another great speech. Another empty chamber.

WOW! No kidding.

WOW! No kidding. Give 'em hell Rand!

Where are the Rand haters of the last few

days? They called him a traitor to his family, and a party hack. Our esteemed and beloved DP curator likened him to Mitt Romney (after a fashion). Is there no love for our favorite Congressman's Senator son, speaking so eloquently and forcefully for transparency and an audit of the central bank, on the Senate floor, opposing the nomination of the new chairman, days after announcing his class action suit against the NSA for the crime that started the American Revolution?

His Dad has got to be proud of a speech like this. Can you dote just a little with his old man?

Please Tell Me

In plain English..give me the REAL REASON on why Rand back Romney?
I give anyone credit when credit is due, and Rand has done many great things. I myself just can not get past the fact he pulled his support for his father, and gave it to Romney.
If it was a ploy just to get elected, isn't that like the same old games the others..the ones we want to get rid of, did to get in office?
If Rand where say on the ticket for VP and the Judge was running for POTUS then yes..the Judge would get my vote. But I am still uneasy about Rand.
For the record, Im also uneasy about Sarah Palin too. Shes now going around saying all the right things, but, she still backs McCain when ask about him. And she flat out stated she was told to keep her mouth shut, while she and McCain where in the running, about things that where really going on. So to me, she put her career above her country, and above the Constitution.

I believe in Hope & Change..I Hope the government will Change

I'm 46 now. But remember crying that day...

...when I heard Rand's endorsement of such neo con traitor, Romney.

I cried because I was heartbroken. I didn't understand at the moment. And may not understand now.

But what I can tell you is that I believe Rand has deep political understanding of how to get things done in Washington. I believe the apple has not fallen from from the tree either.

I believe Rand may be a brilliant strategist. I believe he wants victory, and committed to playing the game a bit, whereas his father always spoke and voted on principle.

I believe he may be the Trojan Horse for Liberty within the walls of Troy (Washington D.C. establishment). He isn't deceiving the Elite. They know he's a true enemy to their tyranny. But he is displaying some gamesmanship as he attempts to win the heart of millions of Sheeple whom he knows are blinded by the propaganda of the Matrix. He is engaging in the battle, playing the game, to win!

I don't know if he will be able to overcome the corruption in the primaries, the debates, the rigged voting, etc., but he can move the cause of Liberty even farther than his father did.

And as Ron Paul has said many times, we must keep fighting till the end, because you just don't know what might happen. It's our duty to press forward and to have faith in victory, not know when it will come.

I have no way of knowing someone

else's motives. I can deduce or guess, but even with closest friends and family, one never really knows. Reading this forum, it would be easy to argue that Rand might have a fierce desire to be considered his own man. The Romney endorsement made me uneasy too, but it did make a clean distinction in the eyes of the punditry between Rand and his father. Propogandopoulis introduced him as having his feet in both factions of the party. That's a tough position to be in, but so far, he's doing it well. He's picking smart battles, and winning them. Rand wins! In that cesspool, with his gene pool, that's pretty cool. If his father doesn't begrudge his choices, why should we? You know his father is proud.

The insistence in this forum for perfection in candidates and representatives is maddening. The ruler by which ya'll measure the son of the father is irrational and unfair. You penalize him for not being someone else. That's crazy!

I'm leary of Ted Cruz. He seems a little sleazy. But I am completely confident in my vote for him over David Dewhurst. Yikes, that Dewhurst is a snake!

Until Rand is actually running against his father in the same race, why not put down the comparisons and enjoy a new battery of tactics, in our endeavor to restrain the beast?

AWESOME POST! AWESOME SPEECH!

I cant wait to put this baby on my vehicle.

Repudiate the debt to the Fed

Then abolish it.

Sure, there'll be short-term pain, but the People will get through it.

Allow currency to redevelop naturally in the economy without further monopolization by the government.

Rand might want to hire a food taster

and stay away from airplanes for a while too
