I wish you could read between your own lines.

That's exactly what this knowledge is all about. It is free will that grants the ability to connect with the Divine which is achieved through love, through which one manifests their heart's desire.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience"—Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Perhaps I'm just not as clear

Perhaps I'm just not as clear as I should be.

In law there is:
1. God's Law (aka the Law of Nature), and
2. The laws of Man.
Which is the greater law? Which law grants you rights which no man may infringe upon?

In religion there is:
1. Worship of God, a form of theism, and
2. Worship of Man, secular humanism.
Which provides you with unalienable rights?

My point is that The Secret, and other manifesting techniques that promise that you can have anything you want, are Luciferian in nature because they teach that Man can manifest without devine assistance or blessing. This is indeed possible. However, when the source of creative energy is not divine, it still must have a source. Most people don't consider what source they've tapped into. This source is not described by The Secret. It is only described as "the universe." They, of The Secret, do not tell you that the source of creative energy they are tapping into without divine assistance is the well of other's souls harnessed for that purpose by willing Faustian participation.

If you don't like the way I put it, please read the book for youself:

It is the secret behind "The Secret."

Again, you are projecting a false belief of these principles.

ALL of the teachings I have come across have ALL cited a Divine source. All of them. NONE say or suggest that the source of this power is "taken" from people. Actually they all INSIST that this cannot be done. All is available through divine inspiration (in spirit action).

You Call "it" God, others call it Mind, others call it Source, etc. etc.

You see what many people have missed or are uncomfortable contemplating is that if God/Mind is the source of all there is then WE as these human bodies ARE ALSO THIS SOURCE that has become conscious of its own existence. If you remain on the level of "I am human" and "this separate entity is God" and you buy into the original form of Division then it is very difficult if not impossible to understand any of this. You must see the unity of "the two" and see that they are ONE and the SAME. But as History has shown us, anyone who dares to expose this deep Truth is marked as a blasphemer and silenced—an act that goes against the most fundamental teachings in many faiths of Unconditional Love—Loving REGARDLESS of the Condition.

"The Secret" is NOT THE Secret. It serves, at least to my experience, as a "seed" that is planted in the mind that will "flower" into more knowledge that the individual may be inspired to seek further. When I first watched The Secret film I understood nothing of it. I didn't understand how to really apply any of that info into some practical experience. I later discovered that there were two version of The Secret but the SECRET was actually edited out of it. And that's not the only Book that has such information in it—information that requires a knowledge where one can read between the lines. Many people are often shocked to find similar bits of this info in the Bible itself as well as many other religious and ancient texts from around the World.

There are many countless metaphors out there that all point to this one Truth, even the book you reference is a collection of stories of metaphors by which an individual can glimpse this knowledge and perhaps have the inspiration sparked within them to seek further Truths.

So, for some reason, there is an idea that this knowledge somehow goes against what you believe and that is not at all the case. You have simply taken a different road to the centre of town that all other roads lead to, but we can only take one... at a time anyway.

I used to be an atheist but I now KNOW there is a Divine source out there and within each of us. I've experienced it for myself through practical application and I have had wonderful results in my life, the MOST Important of which is letting LOVE into my heart like I never imagined was possible. And as far as I am aware, I don't think LOVE is a Luciferian goal by any means.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience"—Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

I DO believe it s true. I am

I DO believe it s true. I am not saying it does not work. It is NOT against anything I believe. I am providing a warning. I am saying: "be careful," "be deserning."

Max Freedom Long tells about his experience in Hawaii in the early part of the 20th century. He talks about the Hawaiians Huna and its ancient similarities to the teachings of Jesus. I am a big fan this book and it teachings which are very similar to the OP vid and The Secret. When you read the book you will understand the differences to which I have alluded. His book is likely is the source material for most all of the current literature on the subject.

There is the truth, and then there are those things that look a lot like the truth but add or omit important elements to turn the truth into something useful to the luciferian will of man.

BTW Look up "well of souls."

If you believe then just allow others to find their own way. I do appreciate caution but it came off as somehow labelling this knowledge as Lucefarian in origin. Perhaps I misunderstood the context of your comment. If I did, I apologize. I do not disagree that this knowledge may be used for ill purposes, such is the nature of Free Will, but those people eventually must face the consequence to their actions. Seems precisely what's going on all over the world with these [d]elites and their "secret" clubs where they've shared these and similar methods to further their wealth and feed their greed. But now, as this knowledge reaches the right people who will use it for good (some will still abuse the knowledge), which is what is happening today, the one's abusing it, well, "Karma" is beginning to collect.

In terms of the Well of Souls, what exactly am I looking for? Is there something specific I should look at? You got a link to help me out? :)

I've studied this subject thousands of hours.

I've studied Bob P. and dozens of other writers on the subject of the subconscious mind. I can tell you that my two great non-religious areas of passion are this subject and the fight for Liberty.

My journey in the area of the subconscious mind started back in the early 1980's with the reading of the 1959 classic, PsychoCybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz -- still a great read!

One of the greatest books, a book which Mr. Proctor literally built his career on, is Wallace Wattles' The Science of Getting Rich. Bob memorized that book, as I have done, but he took it and started teaching it and rephrasing it in his own way. Wattles' material is still unparalleled in its greatness.

I could rattle off dozens of other famous books I've carefully studied, but let me be brief, and offer the readers of this post something of great value.

I believe the following clip -- "The Strangest Secret" -- by Earl Nightingale, offers in a succinct phrase - a summary of all the literature I've ever read on the subject.

So if you like this thread, and are excited to know what the great mystery is, and what you need to do, watch this 18-minute presentation. It will reveal truth to you. Enjoy!

This is interesting

Bob Proctor is an amazing man!

I'm finishing watching one of his seminars (from the 80s I believe) called, "Born Rich". Absolutely amazing information with clear practical applications. I have been using these and similar principles in my life for 4-5 years and it hasn't been the same since.

Thanks for sharing this!

Here are the YouTube links for those interested in the Seminar (Hilariously dated intro song lol):

If you're into Bob Proctor read Jim Rohn and Jack Canfield...

I'm tickled that you enjoy so many of my book recommendations. Here's a favorite from an author you should know, Deepak Chopra http://www.amazon.com/Ageless-Body-Timeless-Mind-Alternative...

So I had a late night last night on the DP

Trying to figure out what the hell to do with this place, and this thread really caught my attention.

This morning, I get up and I'm telling Samantha about this thread, and how I don't want the DP to become the Daily Rand, but it may be inevitable, and and she says, "Hey! Look at this!" And she pulls out the latest copy of Scientific American that she bought the other day, and this is on the cover:

If you can't read it, it says: "Our Unconscious Mind - It exerts a profound influence: shaping decisions, molding behavior - and running our lives."

Samantha is a brain researcher at Harvard. She has a PhD in neuroscience, and she subscribes to Scientific American Mind, but she rarely buys this magazine. And then she opens it up and tells me that one of the big reasons she bought it was because of this ad inside, for this Culinary Cooking course, by the Great Courses. She wanted to buy that for our cousin in Taiwan, who is interested in cooking.

So there you go. Weird. Weird things happen sometimes. I'm going to read that story tonight. Here is a linke to it.

I've got another weird story to share with you later, but right now, I've got to go. Right now, I've got to go do something that is part of the story I'll tell you later tonight.

Thanks DeejayG! I love the DP because of all these seemingly random pieces of information, all of which help fill out the puzzle.

He's the man.

Secrets of the brain have been known for 20, 30 years...

but no one wrote any of them down so they have been forgotten.

Two thoughts come to mind

1. There is a book called The Magic of Thinking Big. Good book along these lines - positive thinking brings positive results

2. Long ago when I used to know what the inside of a gym looked like - I read a great article about how a major part of Russian power lifting back in the early 80's centered around the visualization of the lift itself.

They would have the lifter visualize over and over and over again the actual lift - for hours and hours. They would have them prepare their mind for the intense weight - having them visualize every little feeling from how the feet on the floor felt to how the bar felt. They said it was the secret behind the Russian's(and of course the other eastern block countries) success in power lifting. I have also read about athlete's that will visualize an entire game in their head over and over.

so maybe

if I look at what is attracted to me I will have insight into my own vibration to give me more awareness to where I am at currently?

Michael Nystrom's picture

DeejayG, did you post this because

So much of the input we get here is negative?

I've been thinking about that for a while now... It is not healthy. Negativity is a poor quality input.

We all know about the bad, let's focus on the good.

He's the man.
Michael Nystrom's picture

That was good!

I like the ending: "I know this works, because I do it."

I'll tell you where I had great success with this, and that was in attracting Samantha. But that was many years in the making, and one failed try. And then one day she appeared. Like she had the key to my heart. She just stuck the key in, opened it up, climbed in and curled up inside.

Now, was that because I was holding an image of my future wife in my mind? Honestly, that is impossible to say. But I do like to believe it is true.

And because of that, I believe that people can choose their beliefs.

Can you see how holding that belief serves me? Not only does it make me feel that I've done magic in the past, but that I could do it again! That is a powerful feeling.

Samantha's a scientist, and she takes that seriously. She harps on me about it. You have to look. Look at the data. Look at what is going on. You can't bias it towards what you want to be going on.

And that is why I'm cautious about the whole Rand thing. It is so freaking early!

It just reminds me of when Sarah Palin got the nomination in 2008, and everyone at the RNC is running around all excited. Wow! I like her. Do you like her? I felt like I was getting mauled.

And that's how I feel about this Rand thing.

What's the rush? What's the harm in watching? Why the rush to declare anything?

- - -

But I digress. I think there are a lot of negative inputs here at the DP, and I don't think that is healthy. Not healthy to the point where I think it might be time to go.

Let me just say that I don't have a positive future vision, about this place -- and because this place is such a big part of my life -- and therefore about my life. I'm looking for an exit.

I can't just write a DP suicide note and leave. Not like everyone else here can. I'm the one guy that's got to stick around!

If you don't have a positive future vision about your life, you're doomed. I know that. That means, I have to either:

1) Head for the exit or,
2) Transform it into something that is more to my liking. Like, more nourishing

Do you think it is nourishing? Some things are, and some people are... but overall, it is draining.

For me. Coming here is like coming to work at a job you don't really like.

But there is a bright spot, and that gives me hope.

Focus on the bright spots, guys.

He's the man.

For years I had a bumper sticker on my car that said that. What a wonderful thing. People would stop me and ask where I got it.

Anyway, you have to do what feeds you. I struggle with this myself.

I will try to imagine being surrounded by peaceful, curious, active people. As per the DP, maybe you could start by banning negative titles. I like the Peace-Gold-Love part but does this site reflect that? Can it? Politics does not seem to be peaceful by nature. Cut the politics out of it? Go for education instead like Ron Paul did?

I do hope you find what feeds you one way or another. I like doing too many things and it is going to kill me! I am now picturing a simple life. :-)

Wow, let me tell a quick

Wow, let me tell a quick story related to this!
I was with four friends one summer night a couple of years ago. One of them was silent, two of them were having an argument which i chimed in on...

One was saying that magic is real, that people do all kinds of crazy magic. The other, referring to his college education as an engineer, was condescendingly shooting down everything he said.
At this point I butt in and say, "well maybe it's not exactly like the "magic" that is in t.v. shows or video games we had growing up; much of the magic going on is just the power of the imagination and subconscious."
Now none of them knew what on earth I was talking about, but that is besides the point... The argument eventually settled on "agree to disagree," because it was actually starting to get heated.
Later, I was driving home with the friend who was arguing in favor of the existence of magic. He was actually upset at the way our other friend basically insulted his belief of magic, and I was trying to bring his spirits back up. Within two minuets of our drive, we got cut off by a car that had that exact bumper sticker! Magic Happens. We turned to each other in awe and started laughing hysterically at the improbability of this occurrence.

if you are/were located in southwestern CT, I now know it was your car :)

that's funny! :-)

It wasn't my car....would be even funnier if it was though. It is a small world and stranger things have happened.

Thats pretty cool

and made me smile :)
I believe in magic.

Freedom is a byproduct of acceptance - judge not.

It works

It worked for me....my life has changed completely using this method.

Would you like to share more details?

What kind of visualizations did you do?

How long until what you materialized appeared? It took me years and one wrong try to materialize my wife. I materialized the Daily Paul, but I wasn't too specific. I just wanted to have a really popular website.

Now I need to either materialize my way out of here, or materialize this place into a better place.

What do you think about the prospects of that?

He's the man.

keep it simple..then let it go..

Thoughts have wings.
Visualization or just throwing a focused thought out there are pretty much the same.

Example: Before I bought my house, was renting, but too far away with traffic to quickly help ageing parents.

What did I want?
Closer location, lower rent, and a large shade tree.

Ok, so I spoke those three things in my head and then immediately started humming a random song.
I know to make this work...I have to let go of the thoughts...and not think about it...and by humming a tune...it gets my thoughts to be distracted and start focusing on something else not related to the thoughts I threw out there.

(I did not mention to anyone I was contemplating moving closer to parents.)

Three days later, was on the phone with a friend, talking about random things, and my friend mentions the people next door to them moved out.

Alarm bells go off in my head...opportunity.....jump...!!!

Fourteen days later, I moved into a half/double (never lived in a double before), 1/2 mile from parent's home, 1/2 the rent I was previously paying, and it had a large back yard with 8 giant shade trees...the whole back yard was shaded!

So this is just one example how the process can work.
Focused thoughts....keep it simple....and then let it go.

This changed my view of many things and offered a paradigm shift in how I look at and react to daily circumstances and life's challenges. Basically, the messages we give ourselves and/or messages from parents and teachers etc. for good or bad are filtered through our conscious mind and influence our subconscious mind. This often determines whether we will be successful or get stuck listening to the negative tapes in our heads. It really got me to listen to myself on an inner level.

The awareness of intention, beliefs, what we say and feel toward ourselves and others is of the greatest importance and is often the difference between success and failure.

Sometimes after you have studied a problem from all angles, it seems even worse or more jumbled than before. When you leave it for awhile by temporary forgetfulness, and then when you get back to it, you find your thoughts clarified, the line of reasoning worked out and your problem solved for you. Everyone experiences this from time to time but it is often produced in an unconscious manner without purpose and intent. You have more power when you learn to use your subconscious in a conscious way.

Get an idea of what you really want to know by forming a clear mental image of the question you wish answered. Give it a high degree of conscious attention by playing around with it in your mind and pondering upon the matter. Then pass it to your subconscious mind with the mental command “Attend to this for me, work out the answer!” or some similar order. This command may be issued mentally or verbally. Command your subconscious like people who work for you. Command kindly but with firmness. I'm producing a video with my personal story to share it. It will be up soon on YT!

That is awesome

Those are wonderful achievements. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing with us. I'm looking forward to your video.

BTW, I was looking at your channel last night, found your thank you to subscribers video, and very much enjoyed the music.

Thank you.

Let me know if you need

Let me know if you need anything;) Being thankful is very important. Without gratitude, you have no power, since the two connect together.

promoting the body/mind dichotomy

That's certainly one way of looking at things. I like to think of myself as a bodymind.

The brain is a special unit

There are a lot of switches in there. Physical stuff. Change some physical property of the brain, and behavior is completely different.

Samantha told me so many of those stories when we first met. Phinneas Gage. Go look that guy up. He had a railroad spike go through his head, and his behavior changed completely. That is when they first started to piece things together. They used to think it was a radiator up there.

She loves keeping up with the latest research on the brain. That is her job, and that is what she loves. That is the way life should be. - sigh - I'm a little jealous of Samantha.

I'm interested in giving this a try on the Daily Paul. What do you think? Like we could have mass social experiment days...

Tell people to go out today and... and then report back on how you did and what you felt.

Have a day on here when people are only allowed to post positive comments. We don't have to get everyone to go along with it, just run it like the Jam Session.

Have a day on here where you introduce yourself to someone you haven't met on here.

Stop doing it for them. Turn off the Daily Paul as a show horse. Just enjoy each other's company.

We have some potential to do some healing at the Daily Paul

Rambled. Sorry. Ed, do me a favor, and remind me of what I said here tomorrow. Heck, let me know what you think.
