Rand Paul vs Christie

Does anyone see Rand Paul working behind the scenes quietly working his butt off while clowns like Christie crash and burn. Rand is setting himself up to be an honest and real presidential candidate we haven't seen since Barry Goldwater.

The system is so corrupted, but Rand is the leader of the least corrupt group in the federal system.

You guys are Rand lovers...

...seriously. If Rand is not an establishment hack, then how will he answer the following questions?

1. Do you think marijuana should be legalized?

2. If elected to POTUS, would you sign an Executive Order to bring all of the troops home?

If the answer isn't a loud "yes" to both...he won't get my vote. I stopped voting for the lesser of two evils about 8 years ago...

The difference is that RAND CAN WIN

So you tell me what the future holds...

Remind me again what happened to Barry Goldwater?

Would you, please?

He's the man.

So, Goldwater lost, therefore Rand will lose?

.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

He lost the Presidential race,

but after that he was re-elected U.S. Senator five more times and served as such into the late 1980s. From the Senate he was an inspiration to Ron Paul [among many other notables here at the DP] before and after Ron's entrance into D.C. politics.

One interesting note is that Barry struck up quite a friendship with JFK, and prior to JFK's death they had informally planned to entwine some of their Presidential campaign touring together and share transportation, various amenities, and campaign stops. He certainly had his rugged, adversarial charm, but he was [like Ron] quite gracious in person and quite well respected by most everyone he met, a man of great appeal and influence.

Here's one thing that happened to him

This earlier Johnson ad...

may have helped Goldwater. I've always liked it...

Based on that ad Goldwater would've gotten my vote

but that was hardly the Eastern seashore, more like 1/5th of the freaking country.

I wouldn't mind sawing off the Western Seashore too, or at least break up The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia

The response add could have been a Japanese toddler

getting nuked by Truman, or a Vietnamese kid getting napalmed.

Pots and Kettles.

Politics is brutal

That ad aired once, and he was done.

And yet, people still don't see the similarity to the NFL.

It is sudden death out there.

He's the man.

Thanks for posting (+1) BUMP!

I wonder how many here are aware of Rand's work with the RTW Movement?

It's National....and he's been pushing it for some time now.

The National Right to Work Committee.

Check it out all you anarchists (LOL!)
