Ron Paul excluded on a Press Release to Pro- Life Voters - Action Needed

0 votes

No matter where your position is on candidates, all candidates should be mentioned when informing the public on issues.

On the the issue of Pro-Life, the National Right to Life Committee decided not to mention Ron Paul and/or his position on Life. For general fairness, especially since he pro-life from the womb to the tomb, he should be mentioned.

THIS IS JUST CRAZY!!

I am very saddened...

anybody get any responses here?

I didn't

Makes you wonder

if they leave off someone like Ron Paul, what else do they hide or cover up? I e-mailed them and asked them how many lives they have saved? I have been writing them for a couple of months, sending them slim-jims asking them how they can not endorse a candidate like Dr. Paul. They rather spend money on paper and postage sending their petitions for you to sign and send back and then they spend more money supposedly sending them to our congressmen. What a joke!

Dear NRL-PAC,

I note with dismay that your release, "National Right to Life Pac Statement on Presidential Candidates," fails to mention the very substantial and consistent record of Congressman Ron Paul, who is very much in the race for delegates in this year's presidential election. This is an outrage for anyone who is ant-abortion.

Please, please correct this damnable travesty. Here is the information you need to include in your NEW RELEASE, which needs to go out ASAP:

There's a lesson here

Create your own pro life organization eg. "The Pro Life Patriot Foundation" (I'm sure some of the dailypaul readers wouldn't mind being board members), have the organization rate all the candidates, make a website, and print/distribute leaflets like crazy.

National Right to a Life of

National Right to a Life of Indentured Bond Servantry....What a joke. Do we really need them? Like Alice Cooper said...Dead Babies can't pull things off the shelf.

E-mailed them...

in protest...looks like they would abort their own cause to exclude Ron Paul...who has done more than any other in the cause of Pro-Life...

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

First off I do not know how

First off I do not know how to start a new topic.Since this deals with a question I have about Ron Paul's stand on abortion I will ask it here.I would appreciate if someone can answer honestly for me because it depends on votes by a couple freinds of mine. They are wanting to know his stand on abortion.I told them he is pro life then I told them he is 100% pro life. She then came back today asking me if he is for any whatsoever like if the baby came by incest or rape would he allow abortion.? would anyone know the answer to this? One of them live in florida so i need a quick answer. I hope they didn't already vote because she said someone told her that he is not 100% that if the child was aborted out of incest or rape she would not vote Ron Paul. I was so amazed that she would only consider voting for someone only on one issue. ( example: only voting for Billary because she is a woman) Sad Sad Sad.....but I guess that's her right to choose. Now I will sit and wait for an answer.

Pro Life BUT

but he believes, like marijuana, it's not a federal issue. He said he's going to leave it up to the state.
I'm not sure i'm totally pro-life. Especially in circumstances like incest or rape or whatever.
But if thats my only disagreement with Dr. Paul and his philosophies, I can live with that!!!

P.s. When I talk to people who are voting based upon Gender, Race or some other non political issue, I simply give them this analogy.

"Would you vote in a beauty pagaent if you've only seen 1 girl? Would you vote on lets say American Idol if you've only heard 1 person sing?
How could you right?

So why would you vote in a political race, when you havn't taken the time to learn about other candidates politics?

I'm sure most of us have, but to be fair, I urge everyone to go to each candidates website and familiarize yourself with the enemy. Its only fair. Not to mention, it'll solidify your vote for Dr. Paul because they don't nearly have any plans/policies/philosophies as in depth as Dr. Paul does!

no, he is totally pro-life. Go to the official website.

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/life-and-liberty/

lists his pro-life legislation.

Dr. Paul's position on Life and Liberty

can be found on this link:

My thoughts for your friend:

*Is it a baby's fault if she is conceived because of rape or incest?
*Are your friends aware that abortion clinics tend to hide info of incest, and the resulting abortion also keeps the incest secret. (no visible pregnancy)
*Are your friends aware of the Abortion/Breast Cancer link?
*Are your friends aware that many women experience mental trauma because of abortion?
*Do your friends realize that there are many couples wanting a child and not enough available for adoption?
*Why would someone choose an abortion with the resulting increase in cancer risk plus possible mental trauma and not be willing to wait a few more months and put the child up for adoption?

reminded them about "Jane Roe".

Just in case NRLC forgot who she is.
"Norma McCorvey" a.k.a. "Jane Roe,"

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/01/22/599487.aspx.

This is the stance that actually turned me to be staunch "Paulite". Life is what is most important. So in turn War (destruction of Life) is wrong.

It is a microcosm of how the Government is now controlling peoples lives.

Read this:

Ron Paul: "Once we allow federal control over abortion, we lose the opportunity for states to enact pro-life legislation. Numerous states already have laws that punish the act of murder against a fetus. Our focus should be on overturning Roe and getting the federal government completely out of the business of regulating state matters."

Ron Paul: "The federalization of social issues, originally championed by the left but now embraced by conservatives, simply has prevented the 50 states from enacting laws that more closely reflect the views of their citizens. Those who seek a pro-life culture must accept that we will never persuade all 300 million Americans to agree with us. A pro-life culture can be built only from the ground up, person by person. For too long we have viewed the battle as purely political, but no political victory can change a degraded society. No Supreme Court ruling by itself can instill greater respect for life. And no Supreme Court justice can save our freedoms if we don’t fight for them ourselves."

Ron Paul: "Abortion on demand is no doubt the most serious sociopolitical problem of our age. The lack of respect for life that permits abortion significantly contributes to our violent culture and our careless attitude toward liberty. As an obstetrician, I know that partial birth abortion is never a necessary medical procedure."

Ron Paul: "First, we must return to constitutional principles and proclaim them proudly. We must take a principled approach that recognizes both moral and political principles, and accepts the close relationship between them. Legislatively, we should focus our efforts on building support to overturn Roe vs.. Wade. Ideally this would be done in a fashion that allows states to again ban or regulate abortion. State legislatures have always had proper jurisdiction over issues like abortion and cloning; the pro-life movement should recognize that jurisdiction and not encroach upon it. The alternative is an outright federal ban on abortion, done properly via a constitutional amendment that does no violence to our way of government."

I let these creeps have it where it hurts

in the pocket book. I let them know that what I intended to send in to their organization just went to the Ron Paul campaign!!! This PAC should be investigated. I bet they squander 90% of contribution of feeding their faces.

Umhum...

They need abortion to remain legal so that they have a reason for existence.

National Right to Life,

I always assumed NRL was one of the "good guys" in the fight against abortion. However, I am amazed beyond belief that you would include recently-turned-pro-life Mitt Romney while omitting stalwart-opponent-for-30-years Ron Paul. You have got to explain what's going on here!

Karen was "out of the office". I wonder why? So this guy Tim answered. I asked to be given Karen's voice mail and he kept saying that she has asked him to "take messages". I was polite, but pushed him and finally got her voice mail. I pollitly gave her the message and "warned" her that if she did not correct this error that she would receive a lot more calls like mine. CALL AND DEMAND HER VOICE MAIL. Otherwise, your "message" will end up in the BIN.

We know donations to Ron Paul's campaign will be a GOOD support of Right to Life. so my normal donations to pro-life organizations (NRL and Oregon Right to Life) will be going to Dr. Paul instead!

I also sent them an e-mail:

Dear National Right to Life:

Please make a correction to the press release of Monday 28, 2008. The press release mentions the strong pro life positions and records of the "remaining candidates for president". Then goes on to mention Mike Huckabee, John McCain, and Fred Thompson.
Please make the addition of one of the other remaining candidates with the strongest Pro Life record, that is Dr. Ron Paul. I am sure you are well aware of his record and his unwavering Pro Life positions. Dr. Paul is an Ob/Gyn who has delivered thousands of babies in his career. He has also never found it necessary to perform an abortion to save the life of the mother or the baby. Dr. Paul also firmly believes that life begins at conception and has created legislation to define it as such...HR 1094.
Dr. Paul has written HR 1095 which prevents federal funds to be used for so-called “population control" and firmly believes in the Just War Theory.
Dr. Paul believes that the more complicated the issue the more localized it should be dealt with, and believes the Federal government's interference in these matters risks the sanctity of life. Not just unborn babies' lives, but also the lives of the rest of us...including yours.
If you'd like to tell your readers about a candidate with integrity and honor, you need to be upfront with them and inform them about Dr. Paul. Dr. Paul is a true statesman, not just a politician. He has honored the Lord, his family, and his country for many, many years. In congress he has voted consistently and true to Christian and constitutional values. These are all facts that are undeniable.
Please present the facts and let your readers discern for themselves.
Again, I request that you correct your press release with the addition of the strongest and most dedicated Pro Life presidential candidate...Dr. Ron Paul.
A response is kindly requested.

Here's what I sent...

Hello...
I'm writing in disappointment in your excluding of Dr. Ron Paul as a Presidential candidate that is pro-life.
Dr. Paul has delivered over 4,000 babies and is more pro-life than any other candidate.
As you may know, Norma McCorvey has endorsed Ron Paul publicly.
Please make the appropriate and morally responsible corrections.
Thank you,
Vinnie Sanchez

"Whether you think you can or think you cannot, you're absolutely right!"

No excuse...

As a Christian we are always supposed to take the high road. This is baloney and manipulation of the American voters. I'm sorry, but they are worse than the MSM. We expect that behavior from entities that go against Christian values and beliefs. But when FOF and CBN (Pat Robertson) make decisions based on 'elect ability' vs. integrity and truth, they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

The Christian leaders of this country will be responsible for the coming judgement and wrath of God on our nation. We'll get the government we deserve (and that's going to put us that much closer to the end - read the good book).

As a Christian, I can't believe the number of Christian sheeple out there...baaaaaa, baaaaaa. How about being a Berean Christian?
