The Meaning In Life?

Would God create a being with greater authority than God?

Could God do this?

Would God create slaves or would God create beings of equal authority?

If You had a disagreement with God, who could judge both of You who could possibly have that authority?

So this is what I believe the meaning in life to be:

"The realization that every individual has complete SELF AUTHORITY."

This is difficult to put in words

what we may know but never think about.
First, what God are you talking about? I think the God of the Bible to be different than God Almighty most people refer to. I will assume you mean the God Almighty Universal God - The One & Only. I believe that God to be the Super Conscious of all of mankind and grows as the Universe grows. I believe this God does not make judgments but just exists, a storehouse of all that is and ever was and all that will be. The energy force that comes from God that permeates all matter throughout the Universe is Love, the growing medium.

I don't believe God has the ability to create someone with authority over himself.
Could God do this? I don't believe so as He/It just exists.

Would God create slaves or would God create beings of equal authority? I don't believe God would create beings of equal authority if he could, I believe He just emits Love. But because of our "free will" some of us may create slaves and we will make intelligence superior to ourselves; or a being can finally evolve that can tap into the power of Love that is God. That would be someone like Jesus Christ again, but maybe even higher. I can only imagine this being to be Light and not a body. So on this plane of existence it may be impossible but would occur on another plane.

If You had a disagreement with God, who could judge both of You who could possibly have that authority?
I don't think God makes judgments.

Most of these questions would be answered differently if we're talking about the God of the Bible. God of the Bible is NOT the creator of the Universe, but by our standards an extremely advanced being from another planet who came to Earth and upgraded hominids to work and slave for his people then gave us freedom. He is our Heavenly Father. He is who I pray to.

I feel the meaning of life is to grow, to exist naturally without stress, to gravitate to things that make us genuinely happy, that stimulate the mind, body and gives joy to the soul and leaves us knowing deep within that we are on the right track.
We have Destiny, we are puppets on a string. When we relax and go with the flow our destiny becomes clearer - this is what I mean when I say we "gravitate" toward things. Toward our Destiny we have many Options or Choices, but it hardly matters which we choose, as it takes many lifetimes to reach a Destiny so we must live as fully in the moment as we can, the Now. This does not mean doing a lot but just being and loving it. Destiny will take care of itself. I think that is our purpose, to love being, and in that we grow.

Don't know if I explained it right, but I'm tired of writing.
Suffice it to say, I love living. Peace out.
God bless all libertarians.

Would God create a being with

Would God create a being with greater authority than God?
A: Maybe it already happened, no way to know. What would motivate that move?

Could God do this?
A: sure, he is God.

Would God create slaves or would God create beings of equal authority?
A: My son is not of equal authority to me, but he is not my slave. He is 4 years old and my greater wisdom keeps him from getting run over by cars, and other bad shit. There was an angel that thought he was equal to God, and was cast out of heaven. His name is satan.

The doctrine of the church of satan encourages you to think of yourself as a god. So if you want to view yourself as equal to God, then the church of satan might be worth checking out joining. Good luck in the afterlife though.

If You had a disagreement with God, who could judge both of You who could possibly have that authority?
A: This question presumes that you can be equal to God, I doubt that is gonna happen. If you are equal to God, make a youtube video of you creating a universe.

"The realization that every individual has complete SELF AUTHORITY."
A: You have complete authority to make your own choices, it is called free will, however this doesn't mean there isn't a trial date set for when you die. Perhaps you may want to ponder the logic of Pascal's wager:

It posits that humans all bet with their lives either that God exists or does not exist. Given the possibility that God actually does exist and assuming the infinite gain or loss associated with belief in God or with unbelief, a rational person should live as though God exists and seek to believe in God. If God does not actually exist, such a person will have only a finite loss (some pleasures, luxury, etc.).[

God never cared about

God never cared about authority, an entirely man-made convenience. Never cared what you called it, whether you prostrated yourself, or didn't. Judgement serves religions, how can god judge when it would only be judging itself. God has only one mandate for us- Make of me what you will. Make known the unknown.

Saw this in the bible the other day

I am not a religious person, but read this in the bible and wondered how libertarian Christians reconcile this:

Romans 13

Submission to Governing Authorities

13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different." ~CW

If you're...

...genuinely looking for an answer, then I'd recommend Chuck Baldwin's son's book:

Romans 13: The True Meaning of Submission

Basically the argument is that when those who govern violate God's natural law, they are stepping outside of the bounds of legitimate leadership, which is supposed to 'reward good and punish evildoing'. Christians would hardly argue that they must submit to a corrupt spiritual being (i.e. fallen angel) that has been allowed a position of power for a time; so why would they allow a spiritually corrupt human being to supplant their obedience to God's higher natural law?

Also, not resisting the encroachment of darkness and tyranny against one's neighbor is something I see as a violation of the command to 'Love thy neighbor as thyself', which is the bottom line.

and this too

Hebrews 13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.

Life's Ultimate Questions

Who am I?
Why am I here?
What is wrong with the world?
How can what is wrong be made right?

The man that wrote this article, Voddie Baucham, was(and I'm guessing still is)a Ron Paul supporter.

I think the meaning of life might be just to live.

The more pertinent question, IMO, is what does it mean to really live.

Do you mean actual meaning or

Do you mean actual meaning or the feeling of having meaning until you die and no longer have any?

have you read Albert Camus?

I think you would dig it. Check it:

"Lastly, a person can choose to embrace their own absurd condition. According to Camus, one's freedom – and the opportunity to give life meaning – lies in the recognition of absurdity. If the absurd experience is truly the realization that the universe is fundamentally devoid of absolutes, then we as individuals are truly free. "To live without appeal,"[15] as he puts it, is a philosophical move to define absolutes and universals subjectively, rather than objectively. The freedom of humans is thus established in a human's natural ability and opportunity to create their own meaning and purpose; to decide (or think) for him- or herself. The individual becomes the most precious unit of existence, representing a set of unique ideals that can be characterized as an entire universe in its own right. In acknowledging the absurdity of seeking any inherent meaning, but continuing this search regardless, one can be happy, gradually developing meaning from the search alone."

I like it

How deliciously absurd

Our meaning...

...is to participate in Love. From Love we all come, but we must grow into Love on our own volition, aligning our wills with it (Him), learning the tragedy of not being aligned with it, and then one day completing the eternal circle and voluntarily returning to Love, so that it is All-in-All. And that is when we will truly be ourselves, and know what true Liberty is. In the meantime, these are the Shadowlands...

The meaning of life is

The meaning of life is different for everyone. Some people need to invent stories of things they can't possibly know to be true. Some people can be honest with themselves and admit "they just don't know" what's beyond this world, but at the end of the day they both have the same goal; happiness.

Happiness is what every human pursues. What makes people happy is different for everyone. In that respect there is no altruism as every act is perceived by the actor as being what will make them happiest (they aren't always right or logical, but that's how it's perceived at the moment of action) from Mother Theresa sacrificing for the poor to a serial killer.

~ Ron Paul, End the Fed

A subjective meaning of life

A subjective meaning of life is basically meaningless since the search for a meaning of life is the striving for purpose beyond the simply subjective.

Good point. When a person is

Good point. When a person is searching for the meaning of life they are searching for an objective truth. If the answer is subjective, there is no single answer to be found.

it may be meaningless for you

but not for me

That's your completely

That's your completely subjective opinion. I find plenty of meaning in my life without having to make things up out of thin air. My happiness is 100% objective as I can actually experience it. Everything else is a remnant of scared little animals living in caves that were scared of thunder, lightning, and the giant fireball in the sky and their need to explain it since humans don't like the unknown and what can be more unknown than what happens after our bodies die?

You can't be both subject and

You can't be both subject and object bro.

being the subject AND object,

that's consciousness, holmes

There is no meaning to your life, you are here because a man impregnated your mother.

Since you are here make the best of it.

What did you say bout my mama?? Lol.

Welcome to the EvilBible

This web site is designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible. For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called “God” of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children. I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along. You can also follow along with on-line Bibles such as BibleStudyTools.net or SkepticsAnnotatedBible.com.

What could possibly be wrong

What could possibly be wrong with rape, mass murder, slavery, child abuse and all the other things you show such indignation about? This is a serious question, by the way. Are these immoral and ought not exist? Please explain this in a way consistent with a godless universe.
It should be great fun!

So the Jews that already had a religion....

Just gave up everything to follow some guy who pretended to preach the truth and this went on for several thousand years and the 10 commandments of God prepared the way so you could write this short sighted account of how the Bible is responsible for all the bad things in your sad little life. Why does the word "Holy" exist at all? Why have 7 deadly sins and 7 Holy Virtues?

But about myself I will not boast, except as it concerns my weaknesses (2 Cor 12:5). Let the unbelievers seek praise from each other; I wish that which is from God alone.

"in your sad little

"in your sad little life"

Adults that still believe in the equivalent of santa claus are the ones that must have sad lives.
