Would it have made a difference?

What kind?

Serious question.

Not much ...

... Reid would have blocked any attempt to kill Obamacare in the Senate, and Romney's advisors would have probably pushed him into being more aggressive against Syria and Iran.

Romney's AG would have prosecuted some cases that Holder refuses to, the IRS scandal would have gotten blown up more, a few items that appeal to Republican voters would have happened, but the big picture would be the same (at best).

Economy would've taken off. Obama care waver.

Mitt Romney would have help assure business to move forward and spend the economy into a quick recovery. However, we would move quickly into hyper-inflation and then the collapse, blamed on the conservatives and tea party. Obama care would be a state issue whether to adopt.

I would say more wars but ...

IDK who else is there to go to war with ?
Iran maybe ?

Life is a sexually transmitted disease with a 100% fatality rate.
Don't Give me Liberty, I'll get up and get it myself!

Oh yea, big difference!

Oh yea, big difference! Instead of fighting against ObamaCare, we'd all be against RomneyCare! And Romney might have pushed us into war with Syria and Iran by now. Obama will likely have to settle for only Iran, and it will take him a little longer. Other then that, nothing!

he might have worked harder to dismantle different freedoms than Obama--

but he would still have been a mere puppet--

I don't think he really wanted to be president; I think he did what he was told to do, so that his profits could keep rolling in--

but I am very cynical.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

The only difference between Obama and Romney is the spelling......

They both make great puppets.....

Chuck Baldwin did a sermon on this last year

In it he answers your questions with explanations. I agreed with him then and I still do now.

26:00-42:40 Whole Talking Point "The Rulers of Darkness in High Places"

32:27 "This is why those who profess to be Christians, conservatives, and Republicans are so much more dangerous than those who identify otherwise."

36:50-37:05 "We lost far more under Bush than Clinton and we will lose far more under Mitt Romney than we would Barack Obama."

Romney did not run to win. Bush gutted the GOP, leaving the RINOs (Former Democrats who infiltrated the party to out conservatives) as the gatekeeepers for the Democratic Party to be THE PARTY serving the UN. The GOP does everything it can to repel people.

The GOP has no intention of winning 2014. The biggest resolution last year was a ban on NBC and CNN, meaning, (per Shawn Steel's presentation last Saturday).. any nominee on CNN or NBC will lose half their delegates.

The GOP does not appreciate or like the tea party or the libertarians than are challenging them and they made this very clear.

During the meeting, a representative spoke up to my district, and my district shot back and shot the guy down. Then we had the presentation and while there was twoce as many people there, many who came to see Rock Star Shawn Steel, the people in the workshop with me had their arms folded and no one was smiling.'

We're not going to quit (which is exactly what they want). We are going to fight.. so I don't expect any big wins in 2014, or 2016. The GOP RINOs want Hillary (though they don't openly admit that). I'm sure the RINOs what Jeb Bush, and they KNOW, the majority of Republicans in CA don't.

Here we go again. And it's ok, because now I KNOW, my district has had enough and wants to fight not flight.

That became obvious during the last election

It's clear now, both parties want larger more controlling government, so the last thing the establishment Republicans want is some "grass roots" group in control that wants to downsize DC. The Republicans spent more effort stopping the tea party and the RP libertarians than they did to defeat the democrats.

As example, look what they are doing to defeat Justin Amish.

And they make no bones about it. All the more inspiration to make them miserable by showing up.

The Republicans have a conundrum

They have to pay lip service to the fiscal conservatives to solidify their vote, they do that by criticizing the democrats as socialists. The problem they have is to keep their true constituents, the big campaign donors who provide their reelection funds flowing happy. To do that the last thing they need to do is to run on a platform of smaller government. The big corporations need their freebies from government.

That's what congressman Amash is running into, vote against spending bills and the Republicans finance a RINO to run against you in the primaries. So it's a lairs game, those "practiced in the art of deception" get reelected.

This past meeting, they didn't mention the UN Agenda.. the aluded to it, and made me wonder.. "is this what they are promoting?". They came right out and slammed tea party and libertarians.. so I'm not seeing much lip service or lies.. I'm seeing an all out war.. they would rather have Asians, Hispanics and Blacks.. which is their new thing.

GOP adopted multiculturalism and really wants to turn America over to the NWO.. they HATE us, with a passion.

Anyone the "blue Republicans", tea party or Libertarians support they have officially declared war at the meetings.

I've agreed with you twice in this thread, Granger...

That's it. I'm leaving before I set a new world record.

oops, already did that!

Thank you ecorob

This is a war and either youre in or an observer. Nothing wrong with either position. I'm in, and I read what the observers say, but I am not confused who is the opponate (though I find many observers are, or maybe they just have other agendas)

This is the fight of our lifetime.. I'm happy to be in. I'm grateful to Ron Paul for the invitation.. but now it's up to those who are in.. Ron Paul with his rock star statis can entertain the observers.. but the warriors for liberty have a lot of work ahead of us. You bet the establishment wants us to quit. They are being repugnant (it's a weapon.. I don't fall for what is repugnant.. I stand for freedom from it), so I face it. Thank God I am not alone. Great warriors in this battle. Thank you for the kind words.

This is in CA, correct?

I'd hate to assume that it was like that all around the country. Though I wouldn't doubt it.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

Sounds like we have a civil war in the Republican party

IMO you are on our side, I admire what you are doing working inside the Republican party. We need more of you.

Sure it would have made a difference...

GOP = Warfare

Dems = Welfare

Flip a coin, it's either the banks or the war machine running things.

It's the old 2 party pick a puppet!

If you can read this thank a teacher. Because it's in English thank a soldier!

"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."
- Alexis de Tocqueville

Banks own War-Marchine/MIC... Or is it vice-versa?

Either-way, two sides of the same coin.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

Lately though, it seems as if we get both, and this is....

regardless of which side if the aisle they come from. It's not even flip a coin anymore.

Love won! Deliverance from Tyranny is on the way! Col. 2:13-15

His salary would be put back into the federal reserve because he would have done it for free.

"Mitt Romney Style" would be colossally more self-deprecating and incidentally more hilarious viral video.

Yes, it would have made a difference. We would have already...

...been at war with Iran, Syria and any other country Israel would have told us to attack.

Romney would have sent federal agents to the states which decriminilized marijuana and arrested citizens on federal charges.

We sould still be in Iraq with full force.

We would have no exit strategy for Afghanistan.

Mubarak would still be in power in Egypt - with untold billions more of our money going to them.

We would still have some kind of national health care law - ala the state of MA if Romney had beat Obama in 2012.

U.S foreign aid monies would have increased while domestic aid programs would have been cut.

So yes- it WOULD have made a difference had Romney won. And it sure would have made all the Neo-Cons much happier.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Ding Ding Ding Ding!

Right you are. We would definitely be at war with Iran by now.

Not to mention, Rmoney like Obomba is a Keynesian.

Rmoney like Obomba supports fractional reserve banking and the FED.

Rmoney like Obomba supports drone strikes, the TSA, the DHS, the MIC, the Corporatist, and letsnot forget RmoneyCare.

As hard as it is to believe, Rmoney may have been worse!

My only problem

with the question is you say "would it have made a difference".

We would never know because he was never meant to win.

Their is no ifs ands or buts. The election was rigged for Obama.

nope not at all. Both parties

nope not at all. Both parties are run by the same elite. Both puppets.

The country is not controlled by a single man

Even though there would have undoubtably been some differences (how substantial they would be is another matter), the office of President is only one cog in the machinery that determines the course of our nation. Considering the remaining sludge that is pervasive in positions of power and influence, even had Ron Paul been elected, getting much real "change" would have been difficult at best and impossible at worst.

The last "good" President (Ronald Reagan) in many ways watered some of the nastiest seeds of destruction for the republic (for example perpetual deficit spending, expanded imperialism, etc).

Getting past the notion that the President should make a huge difference is part of the solution to the problem (part of a wider pull away from centralized power).

"Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the forms of kings to govern him?" -Thomas Jefferson

I believe that Romney would probably start tearing down the country at a much faster rate than what Obummer is doing. Only because he did not want to be in the office, meaning he would of had less care for his impeachment or such. As long as the man makes buck he is happy.

So out spent Bush and he is still wasting trillions makes you think Romney would have gone faster? Obama is going full speed at destroying America. Nobody could go faster... except maybe Hilary

Probably not

That is what they (as in those in charge) are doing with Hilary and Christy, there is no difference between the two that we are going to get to choose from in 2016 unless we really work at it and really get lucky.

Hard to say

Hard to say because Romney has no identifiable compass. He has fallen on both sides of almost every issue.

One thing I am sure of, Romney would not have stopped the printing press @ the Fed. He is a Keynesian and a corporatist.
