Rand 2016

I think this fact needs some consideration, I'm sure it has relevance to Rand's decision to run in 2016. Rand cannot run for President and re-election for Senate simultaneously. If he decides to run for president, it will not be just to have a larger podium to spread the message, it will be because his chances of winning are very, very good. If he does not win the presidency, we will lose a strong voice for liberty in he Senate. This must be a very difficult decision for Rand. If he does decide to run, I suggest we push his name, voting record, and guiding principals every single day from the day he announces until the day the nominee is decided. We must push like never before, we must push harder than we did with Ron, we must donate more, the money bombs must be organized even better, we must write articles for local papers, make videos for local public tv stations, leave pamphlets at train stations and coffee shops etc. Most importantly (in my opinion) we must research and vote for all liberty candidates running for local, state, and federal positions, from Congress down to local school board. We must continue to fill life blood into the veins of liberty that have been spreading underground for the past 8 years. Most local positions are hardly given attention too, we've learned in the past that if we swell at the time of these elections, we win. Let's get back on our feet, rub our eyes, do a little stretch, and get back to work. This time we must prevail. This is the year that will lay the foundation for Rand to run, and for Rand to win the presidency.

Rand could run for Senate in Kentucky

And President in the other 49 States. I Agree that local candidates are the most important right now. State House, State Senate Etc.
We can actually win these races. I know that, 'cause we have been :)

Thanks For That Explanation

I hadn't thought of that; good to know he can still do both.

It is my understanding of the rules.

I know Rand, and or his people, have said they could find some way around it. And I think it makes a lot of sense. Someone said the 1 place on the ballot rule is un-Constitutional, I have not looked into that argument. But I am sure Rand has studied all angles.

Sorry for bumping my own article, wanted to give this thread another chance in case someone has a comment. First and only self-bump

That is absolutely

That is absolutely disgraceful! You should be ashamed of yourself. I'm ashamed of myself form bumping your bump. Great post.
