Hospitalization - Inpatient or Under Observation (Video)

Hospitalization - Inpatient or Under Observation (Video)

Watch the video it's on the up and up......

This is something that should be shared with anyone on your address list who is or is near to Medicare age. The date of the broadcast was January 9, 2014.

This is amazing!!! Why do we have to verify we are Inpatient or not?????

Watch closely!!!! (You will have to suffer through a commericial that you can't delete or speed up to finish it off.)

THIS IS TOTALLY RIDICULOUS...BUT WE MUST REMEMBER THIS!!!!!!

*I saw this on NBC News and thought I should send it to all my friends on Medicare as fair warning. I've included the segment for you to view.

Basically, if I understand it correctly, do not let the hospital admit you with the words, "Under Observation." Insist on "In-Patient"designation. Otherwise, you will be responsible for the hospital expenses. It might be wise to inform family members too.*
