Vincent Liang, owner of the Hibachi Grill and Buffet offers apology to veteran he turned away - Good Story

"We realize that we made a mistake and we need to correct that," said Vincent Liang, owner of the Hibachi Grill and Buffet in Mooresville.

Liang told WBTV last week, when he turned Wardrip away because of the dog, he was unaware that Benjamin suffers from PTSD and has a card that verifies Beau's status as a service dog.

"He should get all the respect no matter what," Liang said.

Why the dog?

We are also missing why this guy needed a dog with him. What was the dog supposed to do? Having PTSD is not enough of a reason for it.

But sometimes people aren't afforded the opportunity to correct it. Glad to see that wasn't the case here.

All of the Asian business owners I know

are so focused on running their businesses well that they sometimes miss an issue that's outside the normal 'battle' realm.

But when the do notice... watch out! They are all over that thing to correct it.
