It wasn't just the strong pitch by my

"Anyone but Obama" friends. Although I really didn't see a heckuva lot of difference between Obama & Romney, I was still planning to vote for Romney once Ron Paul was out of the race. After all, it's not as if the GOP hadn't treated the candidates fairly throughout the primary process. It was all, "May the best man win."

Plus then the convention got me psyched. Remember those spontaneous chants? "USA! USA!" I was especially proud of the way John Boehner handled his leadership role. Made me proud to not only be a Republican but an American! A role model ~ our free & fair elections!

So I can't tell you how disappointed I was that, as it turned out, I didn't even go vote. A first! :( Something came up, and I felt it needed to be taken care of at once. Oh, well. I guess these things happen.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.

I didn't vote for

I didn't vote for romney/obama, but my vote was cast via the electronic black box vote rigging, erasing who knows who my vote went to.

didn't even raise my little pinky for Romney

HELL NO!!!! And after

And after actually participating in the (corrupt) process and seeing how my vote (included the rest of the winning votes) was silenced (tossed out; made meaningless), I've decided to never vote again. I'll help make things right a different way.

Ron Paul 2008
Gary Johnson 2012

hah. i see no one has yet copped to voting for either of the establishment candidates.

Hopefully no one

No person who values individual liberty, the Constitution, or basic humanity would ever vote for a Republican or a Democrat (short of Ron Paul, Goldwater, etc...). My first election I voted for Ross Perot and I am proud to say I've never lowered myself to vote for the lesser of two evils.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Romney? Obama? Who was the Lesser Evil?

I could not vote for either and wrote Ron Pauls Name in. How could anyone that fought for Ron Paul throughout the election vote for either Obama or Romney? I can understand Gary Johnson, but I cannot understand anyone else. I just wanted to make my statement as clear as possible after what the GOP did to Ron Paul throughout the Primary and then not give him a chance to voice his philosophy at the Convention, and then push through policy changes that will hurt future "Ron Paul's" against the voice of "The People!" Shame on the GOP!!

Some people on here did vote

Some people on here did vote for Obama against Romney for what happened at the RNC.

No vote for Robomney

I met Gary Johnson in person shortly after Dr. Paul withdrew (twice) and decided to cast my vote for him. Perfect candidate - no, no one is perfect. Good guy - yeah, seems it.

** I thought Johnson had excellent campaign ads.

I kept my promise

And wrote in Ron Paul, even though it wouldn't be counted. So next time I say im not voting for some bs politician they know im serious!

Hear that GOP?

and voted for Ron Paul~

Daughter of 1776 American Revolutionists

I will

never ever vote for a lesser evil. I was going to write in Ron Paul but I knew they was going to throw it away and not count it so I gave my boy Gary Johnson a vote. I thought a third party option was the perfect FU to both parties.

I wrote in Ron Paul

People kept telling me that Texas wasn't going to count it, but when I got to the machine, I just couldn't help myself.

Voted for Johnson in 2012,

Voted for Johnson in 2012, Baldwin in 2008, Badnarik in 2004, Nader in 2000; registered Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.

Do you vote for the man who

Do you vote for the man who just robbed your home or raped you wife? No one who worked for RP in the trenches would forget the feeling of getting the shaft from Priebus and company. Never.

Straight Republican ticket

Straight Republican ticket with Gary Johnson on top.

Got my vote preferred R P

Did I vote for ROMBIE?

SteveMT's picture

There was no way that I could get my mittens around Romney.

Gary Johnson was the only choice on the MT ballot that would be counted.

I voted for Romney!

I voted for Romney!

To GET OUT of Ron Pauls way!

But not enough for Romney to win!!

Obama didn't win the election, Romney lost it because he insulted the Ron Paul/libertarian/conservative grass roots and they stayed home.

Romney was the perfect RNC candidate. He had a polished but contrived conservative sounding speaking style, wore Gucci loafers and an expensive suit. This is the picture perfect candidate that the RNC believes can win elections without endangering the military-industrial-banking-complex's war profits. Fortunately for the freedom movement it hasn't sold in the last two elections. Libertarian/conservative voters now understand that voting for the lesser of two evils only delays the inevitable and they stayed home.

They understood that a vote for Romney was a vote for the Establishment status quo and not a vote for for our political values. By staying home change is now happening at an accelerated pace that would not have occurred if Romney had been elected.

I could say that the RNC still hasn't learned that Romney/Christie/Brown RINO candidates can't win elections. But I don't think that it matters to them whether it is a Democrat in power or a
Republican so long as the Establishment power elite's military-industrial-banking-Wall Street-complex profits aren't effected.

It only takes one to KEEP AMERICANS FREE. Know your duties & rights as a juror. Stop the unconstitutional conviction of innocents in federal custody. The Fully Informed Jury CALL 1-800-TEL-JURY IMMEDIATELY if not sooner. It's that important.

It Does Not Matter

Why doesn't it matter to them? Because, as Ron Paul has said many times, they are the same Party. I mean, they started out the same in the beginning as the Democratic-Republican Party against the Federalist Party. The Federalists disbanned and because of bickering between the members of the Democratic-Republican Party, they split. They became the Democrat Party and the National Republican Party (whiched morphed to become the Whigs). The Whigs around 1852 became the Republican Party. They still bicker today and I see no end in it. Although they bicker on the smaller issues (that keep "The People" divided), they pretty much agree on the main issues which make them the same. Ron Paul is right (as always) and we need a second Party. Now, whether that is the Libertarian Party becoming more popular or the Republican Party getting back to its Libertarian roots, we need that second philosophy back to Liberty and it is up to individuals like us here at the Daily Paul to push this down the Progressives throats. Just keep fighting for Liberty and spread the word far and wide and we will triumph, I truly believe we will.

Romney made a deal with

Romney made a deal with Obama..... I will hand you the election just keep the DOJ away from me and my son. His sons business partner meanwhile received 110 years in prison... Go figure

Ron Paul since the 1980's.

Will probably write Dr. Paul in until I die ( unless Judge Napolitano runs ).

Or Ben swann.

Or Ben swann.

No vote

For Romney or Obama. I think I finally voted GJ, though RP is my first choice.

You Think?

Are you not sure who you voted for? That is a pretty important thing to not know exactly.

Rmoney!!!No way! I voted for GJ and I was luke warm at best about that vote. But Rmoney ...NEVER!

I voted Libertarian.

Romney = Obama; just different wings of the ruling aristocracy, competing to head the current system of fascism / socialism.

I know it was a waste of time, especially since I believe nothing will be changed with the ballot box, but I just wanted to protest to mark time till the revolt begins.
