As in, they hadn’t cracked a paperback, fired up a Kindle, or even hit play on an audiobook while in the car. The number of non-book-readers has nearly tripled since 1978.”

I think this trend is being reversed with the younger generation

Not only do I see them reading more, but also, they read quite a bit on the internet - which is hard to quantify.

How many people are in the middle of 5-10 books at any time...

take 3 or 4 years to finish any one, use one to mark the page of another, and keep misplacing them in odd places like the freezer?
