since you have already done the research, does this also apply to credit unions?

CU Master Cash Accounts

Most CU's have their cash in "master accounts" at one of the majors (Citi, Wells, BoA, JPMC, etc.)

So, I don't know. Possibly. I assume that a CU master account would be treated in a Ch 15 proceeding as a corporate deposit. So, probably, yes, in some form - i.e. however the court determines to treat corporate deposits I guess.
