Deeper issues here

First of all there isn't much context here so I am not going to say ya or nay on the cops. Typically I don't support most of what cops do though.

The bigger problem is the public government schools. This kid clearly has some kind of emotional/social issues. Have you been to these high schools? they are awful places. This kid looks like a product of terrible government schools.

One thing I will concede

It has now been reported that this student was special needs so that adds a different element to the case.

Ha ha this forum is silly. Unless you abhor the police you have no place here. All I am saying is there is a lot of missing information.

That's baloney. This is a minor. Doesn't matter what he did.

Cop has no right to inflict punishment without due process.

Two men, three times his weight accosted and threatened him. There was no threat.

Cops cannot do what citizen's cannot do.

You're kidding right?Not

You're kidding right?

Not going to say yay or nay???

Did you not just watch the video of a cop breaking a defenseless kids arm for no reason???

In what possible situation would you say YAY to what you saw in that video???

Nah we shouldn't worry about the man breaking the kids arm, we should worry about the kids emotions, first and foremost. Oo

Im stunned.

Bah

get over yourself. I reserve the right to be neutral here. It appears the cop is trying to arrest the kid not break his arm. Could easily be concluded that it was an accident.

There's no context you can

There's no context you can invent that would justify breaking a restrained person's arm. If you disagree, I dare you to invent one.

Its pretty clear in the video that the cop intended to break his arm. You need to watch it more closely. The cop already has the kid's arm behind his back and the kid is not resisting. At the point the cop decides to crank the kid's arm up and opposite the natural range of motion which causes the break. Then recall earlier in the video the cop warns him that he's "going to make this hurt". Cops are trained martial arts professionals, he knew exactly what he was doing, and I know knew because this a specific jiu jitsu technique.

Yeah well if you're trained

Yeah well if you're trained to use excessive force these accidents happen, don't they?

Actually to clarify if you ARE trained, this wouldn't happen.

I have trained to put a person in an arm bar. NEVER. NOT EVER were we trained to bend the arm over and back like what the cop did. Don't you think there would be similar results to the person whom you are practicing on? This cop did it on PURPOSE.

You grab the arm, pull it behind their back and BEND the ELBOW so the forearm goes up along the spine. What this cop did was bend it back and then (STUPIDLY might I add) pull it UP and around towards his skull. That will do one of two things:

1. Dislocate his shoulder
2. If the victim is weak, break his arm as apparently it did with the snap.

Goddamn.

what needs to happen...

The parents need to sue the OFFICERS.NOT the police dept.If you sue the police dept,it's paid out with the peoples tax dollars. If you sue the officers responsible, you are holding them accountable. That's why these officers keep doing this shit. They don't have to pay.The local gov does(aka-the people).SUE THE OFFICERS RESPONSIBLE & HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.If this trend starts, officers will think before violating peoples rights!!!

Why is it that so many cops

Why is it that so many cops are 50 lbs overweight?

Free doughnuts ?

.

.

He knew exactly what he was going to do once he put his hands on that kid.

Don't know what else to say.

But the Cop did: " 'Just broke his fuckin' arm."

And the tax payer will pay for his negligence/mishandling.

'Round and 'round we go.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Sick

Pigs, someone please update us that this guy got his due for this.

Retaliation

I can't imgaine what the father would think watching this horrendous act unfold.

That one overweight sorry excuse for a human being cop couldn't even get his oversized a** past the seats to help his fellow partner in crime. But what does the community expect from public school systems anyway? Understanding? Compassion? Don't make us laugh.

Suffice to say if it was my kid there are no words to the ends of justice I would seek to protect my offspring.

I wouldn't sue, as the funds are taken from the local treasury(otherwise known as mundanes), I'd demand that both cops be fired from the force, display their acts on National TV, and retain their personal identification for my own purposes. Otherwise, revenge is a b***h.

...r commonly used for "speci@l needs" children. Cops should be kept f@r @w@y from children, especially the ones with problems.

That was hard to watch.

That was hard to watch. Anyone know the story behind this? Heard the pigs say something about getting on the ambulance?

Hard to stomach.

I don't know what that kid did that the cops were called to begin with, but to deliberately break his arm was unconscionable. I'm just grateful it was caught on tape.

I agree with you

but I am wondering what would be the solution, I see lot of videos like this and criticism but I wonder what would I do?

I guess in this situation I would have called his guardian to get him to leave but what if he doesn't listen to his guardian?

Maybe, there should be a thread, how to respond to situations like the boy not leaving and as you said we don't know what he did.

There are difficult people in the world how does a person handle them?

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

Maybe not in every situation

but in that particular situation, with two large men vs. one scrawny kid, surely they could have gotten him off the bus w/out breaking his arm. They didn't even try.

That was intentional.

Who was that fat assed cop, lying through his teeth yearning for a chance to do violence.

Who was the Police chief that sent the thugs out.]

Who was the moron that called the cops.
