Poison then part of a systemic system. Everything matters. Every small blow to the head or any trauma to an organism in it's life will have an impact. Period. Breath toxic air with polluted particulate matter and your lung tissue is going to be less healthy. Eat non nutritious food and your body disintegrates. It is not rocket science.
These guys look like dancing bears and are an insult to humanity that has to brave the forced mandates of 54 vaccine doses by the time a child is six years old to go to school-4 doses (flu shot with mercury and the TDap) are now given in-utero. That is insanity. Before 2001, 15 of the then 39 vaccine doses had mercury until the CDC was forced by Congressman Burton to take it out. Here is the chart: http://vaccineliberationarmy.com/2013/04/05/poster-comparing...
When the CDC and Ob/gyns pushed vaccines on pregnant women in the 2009 H1N1 faux pandemic, there was a 4,250% increase in fetal deaths. There was a collusion to cover it up between the CDC, AJOG and 9 non profits...Here is the deal: http://www.naturalnews.com/043632_vaccine-induced_fetal_deat...
These guys should join the circus!
Pen n Teller, I like them. Don't agree with them often but meh, still dig the argument style :)
I am anti vaccines in their current form.
I trust science, and the scientific method.
I just don't trust the guys running the show.
The scientific method shows they can't be trusted :)
Seen too much read to much.
I'd rather roll the dice and trust in healthy living to protect my child.
What it really comes down to is I own my child till they turn adult.
The State neither owns me nor my child.
When the State tries to assert it's belief that it owns my child, we have an impasse. You can quote me on this.......
Over my dead body, but not before I send a lot of jackboots screaming to hell first.
"You only live free if your willing to die free."
...he doesn't eat meat. But a liberal vegetarian wants meat banned! If a conservative doesn't like guns, guess what... he doesn't own any. While a liberal who doesn't like guns wants them outlawed. And if a conservative (or liberal) chooses not to inject their child with something they truly believe causes serious harm; why do the liberal nut jobs, like the potty-mouthed Penn, get so hysterical and want to force them? Answer: because liberals obviously know everything about, well, everything, and they want to celebrate diversity by forcing you to obey their every whim. Besides if they vaccinate their children, what difference does it make if you don't; aren't their kids safe by virtue of their injections? But you can be sure Penn and company are all for forced vaccinations. We should support a parent's right to act in, what to them is, the best interests of their child, even if it means injecting them. It's like Ron Paul said; "If you don't have the freedom to make bad decisions; you don't really have freedom."
RON PAUL is the GOLD STANDARD of politics, his value never changes; it's tied to the CONSTITUTION!
I'm an RN and Christ almighty, I'm getting so goddam sick of arrogant/ignorant dolts like this guy stating unequivocally that vaccines have nothing to do with autism. I'm sorry, that simply has NOT been proven, nor will it EVER be by the state agencies and their studies that he so dutifully and unquestioningly cites.
The entire foundation of trust, which is everything the state relies on to maintain power, would be torn asunder if any link at all existed. So ask yourself, will this ever be answered by any institution that relies on state funding, like pretty much every medical research facility in the country? Most likely never. It's the same reason we still have that awful cancer/diabetes/obesity/heart disease-causing ADA food guidelines that tell you to gorge yourselves on gov't subsidized grains and shun saturated fat which is actually good for you.
It's not about evil, malicious intent. I'm not an Alex Jones nut on this issue. It's about vested interests disinclining research for truth. When it comes to the state, truth is never the goal of anything.
this on his page. I responded with:
Why would you believe these guys, are they some kinda experts in the field.....NOT..... They're (Magicians/Comedians) paid Shills, Propagandists!!
Penn is supposedly libertarian but does not have a problem with medicinal-industrial complex and schools requiring kids to get more and more vaccines against their parents wishes.
Just because the pro-vaccine crowd cloak themselves in being on the side of medicine does not mean they are 100% right.
Have they stopped using aborted fetus tissue in the vaccines? Shouldnt christians be outraged? Why not?
Why would I be outraged they use dead body parts?
Christians believe the body is the temple we reside in, not that our body is us.
I could care less what is done to my body after death. I'm no longer there.
Note: I am anti vaccine though. No one can read the studies I have and still be total pro vaccine with an IQ over 90.
I am OK with that response but my question is more pointed to the people who think abortion is the #1 issue and are also against stem-cell research....But yet on vaccines they dont have a problem with the aborted fetus.
My take on vaccines is a simple one... You should not force people to do what they don't want to do...
Beware the cult of "government"...
Vaccines are not an exception to the non-aggression principle. It is wrong to force someone to take a vaccine who believes that it will hurt them.
Couldnt make it past the 2nd minute with all the swearing.
Most of the vaccines babies receive today have been created within the last 10-20 years....We are not talking about polio vaccines. We are talking about all the questionable and unecessary vaccines, such as chickenpox, flu shot, measles, whooping cough, etc.
I dont remember the stat but at 2 years old, a child today gets something like 4 times the number of vaccines as they did 15 years ago....Was there a big baby death epidemic since 1999? I dont recall one. So why are they pushing more and more vaccines at the young ages?
I have found that the people who complain about unvaccinated kids are the same people who say we need the TSA. I have yet to hear a good answer about why a vaccinated kid is at risk from an unvaccinated kid - the whole purpose of vaccine is to get immunity.
what's the stat on children with autism who have not been vaccinated vs those who have?
I use Blue Wave, but don't expect one of THEIR silly taglines.
Staggering. No ones ever jabbing my kid.
At 12 minutes 11 seconds, these magicians (how fitting?!) use slight of hand quite well. However, at best, correlation/ causation is the only argument that vaccine science has to offer. (Ie: kids are vaccinated now and the disease went away). Because it couldn't be that the disease had already decreased in incidence.
In my opinion, what it better shows, is the reason why a 'vaccine cure' is offered always at the tail end (usually less than 25% of original incidence) of a disease's lifespan. The creators of vaccines know all to well that the human tendency is to associate correlation with causation.
Thus the 'loving' pharmaceutical companies provide 'just in time cures' for their future clients.

If vaccination are so good, how come when you ask a nurse or doctor what the ingredients are, they quickly go silent and the only think you hear are the crickets chirping. It is always the same response from any health care professional.

My take on it is, if you trust the FDA and AMA with your health, then go for it!!!
You are one of many!
here we go again! The name calling. Calling some one nuts because they disagree with you. Why do you care so much about what I believe in.
Stop forcing me to take a vaccine. I don't want it! Leave me and my personal freedom alone.
they might as well call the truthers 'vaccine conspiracy theorists'....
but if a parent takes their child to get vaccinated you couldn't help to think they were nuts. WERE ALL NUTS!! And Im grateful for that otherwise the DP wouldn't have any nuts!
but they also did a BS on 911 and never mentioned building seven. WTF? Also, they lump every one into a category of antivacine in general. There's few people that believe all vaccines are bad all the time and few that believe all vaccines are good all the time. Reasonable people talk about specific examples and principles. Anybody that focuses more on casting someone into the opposing camp should be called out for being a proponent of the other.
There is little competition within the drug companies, so it is hard to say that there wouldn't be better, safer alternatives to vaccines. I don't think it is a coincidence that Americans are the sickest, prescription drug addicted country on the planet. Penn and Teller need to get out more and see that countries like Norway, Switzerland, and Australia have a better healthcare system than the U.S. does.
Pointing to socialism in medicine is a bad idea.
We need to look back in our own history for the answer.
Not more regulation. Almost no regulation with full disclosure is the answer.
Let the consumer decide.
Let the courts punish the screw ups.
Sure, there are quacks in every corner of medicine, defending every perspective, for any imaginable financially corrupt reason. One clearly weak point of the OP video is the claim that the entire controversy began in 1998 with the Lancet article. Just that one point shows that Penn and Teller are hack investigators and full of sh¡t [in their "We can scream BULLSH¡T more convincingly than the next guy" approach to their basic rhetoric attempting to convince us that the science has all been done and the conclusion is that those who fund OUR propaganda are in the right, case closed]. They cast the father of an autistic child in the lead role of their video. He's portrayed as the utter face of sanity in all this. Alas, my heart strings are mightily tugged as the father seems so at peace while everyone else is so crazy. Gee whiz, the father must be a real authority on the matter! Reality sets in... The father is about as convincing as a father who's lost his son in Operation Iraqi Freedom telling us, "Yup, see, those Islamo-fascists really are evil!". Would it be so convincing to Penn and Teller that they'd make a video promoting neocon Middle East foreign policy?
Chicken Pox and Measles were not essentially life threatening or damaging in modern society before their respective vaccination campaigns. Autism is permanent damage!
Should we vaccinate for bigger health problems like polio? Perhaps there remain shades of grey in the matter. Penn and Teller's black and white, all or nothing approach is equally as absurd as those they scream against, and for the same reasons.
It's QUITE possible that both video's perspectives make some worthy points.
I had no intention to imply Wakefield as quack!
All products made by monopolies or cartels are inferior and more expensive. With reduced competition you skimp on costs and can keep prices high. That is the point of monopolization.
It's exacerbated extremely by the fact that the courts are secret and if the plaintiffs can manage to win a judgment it's on condition of secrecy and in any case the tax payers foot the bill for the award and the court.
Monopolies, and especially the seminal monopoly of government, must always provide a more expensive and inferior product. Drugs are no different, it's just the potential harm from drugs is extremely high.
I don't know how safe or unsafe vaccines are, but it should not be a surprise that vaccines are unsafe.
It should be a surprise if they were safe.
Economically speaking there's no particular reason they would be safe, and they are definitely much less safe, less effective, and cost more than they could be if we had a free market in drugs.
is the vaccine makers went to Congress to get a special court set up to protect them from lawsuits because vaccines are inherently dangerous. Any compensation paid to those harmed by vaccines is paid for by a tax on vaccines. The makers have no incentive to make their products safer.
Also it is a blatant mistake to compare mercury exposure of an adult eating tuna and injecting the substance into the body. The same is true with aluminum and formaldehyde. As stated in the documentary there is a purpose for these ingredients in the vaccine, but that doesn't address the issue of side effects from the mercury which is, still present in some vaccines, and aluminum and formaldehyde.
The reason for the first two is stimulate immune response - to create antibodies. The problem is auto-immune diseases, including autism, appears to result from inappropriately stimulated immune responses.
It is true correlation does not mean causation. Just as when Teller produced the egg from his mouth when Penn didn't ring the bell, I would like to see a study showing the frequency of autism, asthma, food allergies, type I diabetes, and other auto-immune disorders in a population that has gone through the standard vaccination schedule and compares it to one that does not.
I see Penn can cuss a blue streak and call people stupid, but that is not convincing.
Nor is the argument that there are just as many autistic people now as there have ever been anything other than insulting. One would expect a broadening in definition would result in an initial increase in diagnoses followed by a leveling of frequency as the new definition is applied. The problem is the definition was changed in 1994. In 2000 the CDC said the frequency of autism was 1 in 150 children. In 2008, it was 1 in 88. There was no change in the medical definition in those eight years that I can find.
