Seahawks star Richard Sherman says they cracked Peyton Manning's hand signal code during the Super Bowl so they were able to predict every play

Controversial defensive corner back Richard Sherman said that he and the other defenders were able to 'crack the code' on Manning's hand signals
Said they figured out which plays went with which hand motions during the first quarter of the Super Bowl
Sherman equated the game to a mental match, saying they were 'playing chess, not checkers' on the field on Sunday

The NFL

rewarded the Seahawks because the NFL and the refs screwed them during the Steeler Super Bowl.

That's It!

The ref's put a spell on Denver.
Hence the hike into the end zone.
I shoulda' known right away.

Richard Sherman later added; "We're not only All-Pro players...

...we"re All-Pro MINDS."

He was referring to 3 All-Pro players on the Seahawk defense (possibly the greatest defense in Superbowl history) - who apparently figured out what Denver's offense was planning.

And the proof was in the pudding.

Lots of people (like John McCain), don't like Sherman, but he's my favorite professional football player - very entertaining and intelligent.

Anyone who doesn't like Sherman simply doesn't know him.

But they'd change their tune in a minute if he ever joined their football team.

He

is a typical hoodlum. How he graduated from Stanford is beyond me.

They didn't figure out his calls. They just were the better team.

Denver had an easy scehdule. Some times that bites back in the butt.

If that was all an act than I think it is stupid and childish. Nobody wants to see some grown man yelling about how "GREAT" he is.

Yeah, nobody wants to see that...

Except the millions that watched it over and over again for two weeks. Sounds smart to me.

You are right

It worked. The perfect distraction from the real problems. The Government loves the NFL.

Ha. Hoodlum. Can't say the N-word, so they jump to that instead.

If this is true, the most logical conclusion is rigged.

I mean, hand signals getting found out? C'mon, that's little league. This is Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl, perhaps the most intelligent QB in the game, committing a little league mistake, and then never bothering to correct it the entire game. It's the Super Bowl, you'd think it would be at the top of the checklist, don't tell the other team your plays.

I had respect for Manning because I thought he was a Chess player. Either he showed he is not nearly as smart as he is made out to be, or he threw the game. Based on every game he's played outside of that one, I think he's a fantastic chess player, leading me to believe he threw it.

they figured it out "during the first quarter"

sure sure. by "during" they mean prior. and by "figured out" they mean, somebody taught them.

Its impossible

During the first quarter, the Broncos only ran 8 offensive plays, One snapped over Mannings head. How exactly do you figure out the hand signals that quickly with that few plays? The bad snap seems like a very unlikely mistake as well.

Plus manning was 34-49 passing and 279 yds, the problem was key plays that made a huge difference in the score.

Maybe NSA?

Maybe NSA?

Or

Maybe, just maybe both coaches are talking to each other during the game on those microphones head sets.

It is freaky that it is funny...

and also quite possibly not so crazy.

"Snowdened"

Sounds like something Edward Snowden would rig.
Wait. Isn't Snowden from Seattle?

When did seahawks gain the power of speech?

And what exactly is a 'manning'?

I said it before

rigged

No one believed me

NFL is

rigged. This year they tried to make it not obvious by having the Super Bowl a blow out. Having the top seeds play each other. Because last year look way to obvious for Ray Lewis, and people caught on.

I know exactly what he means. No suprises.

My only strategy in day trading is knowing the "code". And that code is 'Buying and Selling' pressure. Period. With that information, I just get onboard and go along for the ride. Today's action grossed 60 points in the S&P emini. For $3,000 per contract gross profit. I don't know ANYBODY who pulls 60 points out of the S&P! NOBODY.

I'm new to football... but in baseball cracking the 3rd base coach's and catcher's hand signals is part of the game.

Agreed

I think it's part of the game.
