Bogus: 18-29 yo Paul=6 McCain=26 => No Way

0 votes

This is not plausible at all. At CNN site, results by age, they show that among voters 18-29 Ron Paul has 6 percent while McCain has 26 percent. Hence, don't blame the old people. These are obviously and carelessly synthesized counts from some simple-minded random number generator.

Can one find any group of 18-29 folks where for each Ron Paul supporter there are 4-5 McCain supporters. Absolutely no way. Among dozens of people in this age group I don't know a single one who is for McCain (Lexington MA, Providence RI; plenty for Ron Paul, some Romney, some Obama and few girls for Hillary). Where are all these large groups of young McCain supporters marching around, calling shows, filling up newsgroups or discussion forums? Has anyone taken video of them or has a link to any such? It just isn't there and it is entirely inconceivable.

The Florida election mafiosi were apparently too cheap to pay for a decent team of programmers to fake the results more credibly and the idiots they hired have simply stuffed the counts in the most simple-minded, entirely implausible and transparent way.

I've only been saying this

I've only been saying this since NH. The age demographic thing... yeah, i don't buy it.

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

Maybe uninformed people come

Maybe uninformed people come out to vote and they cast a vote based on name recognition. They probably know nothing about the candidates or their positions they just vote for what they have heard of.

So where are they?

Back in 1994, when web started this group was 4-15 years old. They grew up on the web, they must be on the web several hours every day. Since Mad Mac's groups of these folks are supposedly 4-5 times larger than Ron Paul's, it should be easy to find places on the web where they gather. Show me the links to such places? Can you find one, at least? Where are they? If you find it so plausible, you should be able to dig out some links to their favorite gathering places.

In real life, not everyone spends 12 hours a day online

There are a lot of 18-29 year-olds who don't spend 12 hours a day on the Internet. They have jobs. Sometimes jobs that don't involve a computer. They build things, put things together, cook food, clean, cut hair, paint, dance, fix cars, and any number of careers that don't involve planting one's ass in front of RonPaul.com all day every day.

And some people do their "gathering" in real life, with real people, in flesh and blood. Their favorite gathering places are the mall, restaurants, clubs, bars, and countless other places where real social interaction can be had.

Not everybody is like the people who visit RP.com.

Absolutely Rediculous !!

This one takes the cake. and... Notice the states that we probably won refuse to release the finals... Nevada and Louisiana.
I've said it before... They are NOT going to give up without a fight. This thing has to get nasty before we will win.

As Josef Stalin once said,

“He who votes decides nothing. He who counts the votes decides everything.”

The ballot box doesn’t work anymore,

Diebold decides elections, not the electorate.

Gort* - Nikkto Baraadu Klattu! - *Gort - Cooking the polls helps too!

I wonder

how much the people who throw the vote to McCain are paid. I wonder if we can pay them more to leave the machines alone? Ha. JK

Mathew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

I really don't think

we're just talking about little bags of cash. More like career insurance.

Agreed

There's no way Paul's support is this weak.

Someone from Florida wrote here somewhere that people were conducting their own exit polling - I'd love to know what those numbers show.

It says "all my friends voted for RP, therefore 100%"

Unless you're using statistically valid methods, you get garbage-in and garbage-out. I asked 5 of my friends who they voted for and they all said Ron Paul. So I figure we actually got 100% in Florida.

Or Florida isn't like Providence, RI

Do you really think that your friends in Providence, RI have anything in common with the average voters in Florida? It's a wildly different state.

"I live in Rhode Island and I don't know anybody who voted for McCain, therefore all of the votes in Florida must be fraud" is ridiculous. It just means that you don't have a lot of friends.

I live in FL and I don't see

I live in FL and I don't see how thats true.

Most of my friends are voting for paul then obama the huckabee. I have not see a single McCain supporter anywhere. Only thing scarcer than that is a Giuliani supporter.

are you in tune with the world around you
