RON PAUL is a GENIUS!! UPDATED!!!!
Submitted by mindtrance on Tue, 01/29/2008 - 21:25All the other canidates are spending like crazy fighting eachother and he is just sitting back watch them spend until they all drop out. He has a REAL strategy. Once it's down to 2 or 3 including Ron, the media can't ignore him then.
I know this is what's going on, he's sitting on a lump of money waiting to attack.
HAVE FAITH.
Update
"Dr. Paul has written to you that we are heading straight for Super Tuesday. Our opponents are free to beat up on each other and wear themselves down while we gather our supporters and prepare to storm the convention with delegates. "

Ya know, every election
we get the "lesser of two evils". And really if a candidate just preaches what the people want to hear, and has a true record to back it up, he'll have his time. The time will come when it narrows down to only 2 (that time seems to have arrived yesterday) plus Ron. And I dont' think its gonna take long for people to realize, "Romney or McCain, which one is less evil" and then for it to begin to dawn on people, "Who's Ron Paul?".

We can't contol what the media does
We can control what we do.
1) DONATE
2) walk your precinct
Quit worrying about what you can't control. WE can get RP to the conventionand make a difference.
Dr. Paul is a Genius?
Are you kiding me? He is THE MAN, HE IS A PHENOMEN!
Come on Paulites, don't stop pushing Dr. Paul forward, he will be our next president, take my word for it!
Media
How can we say that the media will not be able to ignore Ron Paul. Is there any evidence for that? Seems like from 11 candidates to 5 they give him only 6 minutes of debate time. I would bet that if only Romney and Paul were left ABCNBCFOX will show ROmney debating himself before they give Paul any airtime.
Yes, but what's important is that
Romney will be sitting there attacking himself, defending himself, attack, defend, until he finally tears hemself down and the voting public sees him for what he really is. Then, last man standing, Ron Paul. Who's Ron Paul?

I think 2 things will happen
I think 2 things will happen from the enemy. they will black ball him and exclude him from debates and msm AND start to attack him persoanlly.
as the field wittels down
as the field wittels down i can't see them ignoring him.. at the point their trying to silence his message will show big time.. just like tonights debate..
down to only 4.. Ron Pauls speaking time should go up! if it doesn't then the whole world will see the bias!

Yes Ron has been wise to
Yes Ron has been wise to hold his fire while the others pick each other off however the media will still ignore him. They will just marginalize him as a fringe candidate much like Mike Gravel who is still in the race but you would never know it.
McCain the WarLord
Ok, let's see if I got this straight. We fund Isreal to the tune of a few billion every year so the they can protect themselves against the Arab. We give the Arabs even more billions, because we want the oilfields to be friendly. Then we invade Iraq, to the tune of 200 billion plus per year, and now we need to go in and knock off Iran, because they're "bad guys". Moving east, we're warring in Afganistan to knock out the Taliban poppy growers, and we've got to settle that dispute in Pakistan, too! You know, if we just keep marching east across India and Cambodia, we'll be right back in Viet Nam.........Will the circle, be unbroken, bye and bye.
Ron Paul is right about the economy stinks largely because off the foreign policy we have.
alan laney
funny: McCain wants his revenge in 'Nam
much like Bush II, who's avenged his daddy in Iraq..
So right!
I become a state delegate last night! Half of my district was Paul supporters! It was awesome.
Way to go soldier!
Is that a state delegate or a National Delegate to the GOP convention?

Tonight at the Debate
there are only 4 candidates. RP should get more than 6 minutes. If he doesn't, since there are fewer candidates, it becomes more obvious what the MSM is doing. Either they will give RP more time and people will begin to take more notice of the one candidate that is VERY different. Or RP will only be given a few minutes as has been the case in the past. In those few minutes RP always says so much more than the other candidates, and people are going to begin wondering why he doesn't get more time.
I think tonights debate will be a turning point. I think its win or win night, RP wins either way the MSM goes with this narrowing to only 4.

Cut Romney off.
When Romney starts to get diarhea of the mouth again someone in the audience needs to yell times up! Enough already of his monologue. This is supposed to be a debate not a speech. Ron Paul should attack McCain for not answering his question at the last debate. Finally Dr. Paul needs to speak directly to the people and ask them if they agree we should be in Iraq for 100 years. If they agree that we should continue allowing the FED to debase our currency through inflation. If we should continue allowing judges to make our laws. If we should continue giving up our rights for security. If the answer is Yes than they should not vote for him.

Maybe....
But don't forget, that NEW guy (some dumbass General) who just entered the race! They could break their own rules (specific wins + polling) to get him on the stage, and take time away.
I hope this doesn't happen!
Say YES to Dr. NO
Say YES to Dr. NO
No
CNN would be laughed at it they had this new guy in. He was VERY late in filing and he can only be on the ballot in states that primary after February.
Curse the darkness or turn on a "light"...
There's an old saying that you can either "curse the darkness, or turn on a light." This has been the approach of Ron's campaign since the beginning. Again, let these pseudo-conservatives beat each other up, while we slowly and steadily just keep on keepin' on.
It's the old tortoise and the hare story alllllllllllllllllllllll over again :-)
LOOK
The email I just got from HQ confirmed what I already said:
"Dr. Paul has written to you that we are heading straight for Super Tuesday. Our opponents are free to beat up on each other and wear themselves down while we gather our supporters and prepare to storm the convention with delegates. "
RP needs to go after McCain HARD!
In these next debates, our man needs to hit McCain with economic questions. A little laughter toward McCain would go a long way.
McCain can only mention Jack Kemp and Phil Gramm so many times until he has to pay the piper.
Hopefully the American people will realize that Insain McCain knows absolutely nothing about the economy.
Now that the war is taking a backseat to the economy, McCain has jumped on the bandwagon so to speak.
Ron Paul essentially needs to make fun of McCain, but I don't think he will.
In all seriousness, I am scared of John McCain, and what he would do to our country
The economy AND the Iraq War
I believe the reason the Iraq War issue has been marginalized is because RP has not exposed the War on Terror to be a charade. The stupid Republicans vote for the warmonger candidates because they are spellbound by it.

Rope-a-dope
Dr. Paul is not playing by the rules of the political machine. He isn't a career politician that needs to think about preserving his funds for a "plan B" office run. He doesn't depend on the"special interest" or "lesser of evils" horse race voters that are trying to figure out who is most likely to win based on early primaries. He can outlast the other candidates. And every time one of them drops out, he will get a little more attention from voters who have fewer choices. And the more attention he gets, the better he looks. RP is the only candidate that can stand up to scrutiny. And once Huck drops out, RP will be the only candidate for gun owners and Christian voters. He already is the only fiscal conservative.
His support grows everyday. The war in Iraq, the issue that has been his biggest obstacle in the GOP, is falling off as an issue of importance. And the issue at which he most clearly excels - the economy - is now THE issue and will be more so as time passes.
Forces are converging. Massive weights are shifting. Change is in the wind.
War support in the GOP is questionable
with a significant percentage of GOP supporters wondering when it will ever end, and recognizing the monetary cost to our country. I am stunned at the growing support for McCain, and am having a hard time believing it is tied to Iraq. It is hard, sometimes, to imaging why others think differently that I (we) do. I don't get it.
I do, however, think more & more people are realizing the truth of the war/economy connection, and seeing the water swirling around the drain. It is my hope that those questioners will swing away from McCain soon. I hope so.
I wish McCain would be pinned down to his explanation of how the citizens can continue to fund a war when there is no money for it. I respect his personal sacrifice as a former soldier, but I believe his years of torture as a POW has warped his mind against our "enemies", wanting to destroy all "enemies" at any cost. That scares me about him tremendously. I fear the thought of his finger anywhere near the button.
Going the Distance!!
Everyone remembers Rocky I, when he goes the full 15 rounds against Creed, the heaverweight champ, and shocks the world with his heart and determination, winning over the nation. Well, one thing I noticed last night while listening to the media pukes, was that none of them mentioned anything about Dr. Paul dropping out. They know as we do that he's going the distance! With Rudy dropping out, we are down to four and Dr. Paul is the ONLY TRUE conservative of the bunch (thanks to whoever e-mailed that comment to Jim Cafferty, cause he aired it last night!!!). McCain has serious problems winning over the conservative base and you can be sure Rush Limbaugh didn't vote for him yesterday. Romney's blah record in Massachusetts will surface to haunt him and he will spend the rest of his fortune smearing McCain. The Huckster may do well in some of the southern states with a large evangelical population, but will run out of money and be forced to drop right after Super Tuesday, when he has no numerical way to win. It's going to be McCain, Romney and Paul going to convention, basically because Romney has the money to re-surge and no one will have a majority.
Keep spreading the message, canvassing the precincts, working the phone banks and give as much as you can on Feb 1st cause we're going the full 15 rounds!
Rocky II ending
I agree with one exception. This will be a Rocky II ending.
What happened in Rocky 2?
