Rand Paul demands Dems return money raised by ‘sexual predator’ Bill Clinton

Rand Paul will slap down the Clinton's 'war on women' political maneuver this Sunday on C-SPAN's 'Newsmakers'. How can Democrats accuse Republicans of waging a war on women, he reasons, while embracing Bill Clinton, impeached for lying about his own sexual predation in the workplace?

This is scummy, scummy politics. The Clintons are the lowest of the low, pushing this promotion-of-women to set up Hillary's presidential run. Rand wades into the muck and delivers a hard right. It's something I don't think his father would do.

Perhaps it is the way to defeat the Clintons. Club them in the head with a piece of timber, over and over and over and over and over. America, Bill Clinton is a scumbag, and we don't want these people back in the White House again. America, Bill Clinton is a scumbag, and we don't want these people back in the White House again. America...

Icky, ugly politics.

Rand should couple these type remarks with...

…something along the lines of this:

"Let's be honest. The Clintons are attempting an 'end-run' around the Constitution, which prohibits a 3rd term for a president, by having the spouse run. They can't state, as they did in the '90s, that 'you get two for the price of one', while now stating that 'Bill's not running, Hillary is…you can't judge Hillary from the actions of Bill.' They can't have it both ways. They're a pair now, just as they were then. And frankly, I'm disturbed over this blatant subversion of the Constitution in a desperate grab at a return to power."

This context would allow him all the room he needs to continue to hammer away at Bill.

C'mon Rand, just let Bill go get his STD, for big pharma's sake

Seriously, I think Rand should know better on this one.

Why not let our cutie pattootie Bill let himself go get his STD, finally?

Eventually, the STD is practically guaranteed for him, anyway - he's been so thorough about it for over a decade, now!

THEN, you can attack convincingly Bill's below-the-belt poor judgement ("Euphemism - The Return!") regarding his use of tax payer money for his... consequential healthcare requirements -

ya know, whichever those that could not be more remote from Obamacare's marketplace "offerings".

Clinton's sexual predation is the least of our worries...

if Hillary becomes president and Bill re-enters the White House. I'm not sure what to make of this 12-part series that describes some of the most unbelievable sinister acts committed by Bill and Hillary. The sources seem credible but it blows my mind that with all the evidence, this man is still walking around a free man.

This may be something you want to share with as many people as possible between now and Nov. 8, 2016.

This may require it's own thread.

Even hearing about this is like stepping in dog shit.

Has Bill cheated on Hilary

Has Bill cheated on Hilary since the scandals? I wonder...

Not Since His Operation

...which MSM reported o be a "bypass surgery".
Hillary had bill "neutered".....
...she wants the POTUS win so bad she'd do anything...
...and that's precisely WHY she did NOT Divorce Bill.

One power-hungry biotch.

Wow. I'm of two minds on

Wow. I'm of two minds on this.

It was one thing when Rand was talking about this as a response to questions he got from an off-the-cuff comment; but another if he's going to make it a item.

It feels a bit odd that the focus is all on Bill when Hillary is the one who's most likely to run for Pres. I haven't yet heard Rand speak about what it says about Hilary's character to have chosen, co-developed with, and champion such a man.

As a woman, I'd have a hard time voting for a woman who chose and championed a lech as a husband -- lack of discernment and potency. I'd question her motives when it comes to foundational relationships. But the male politicians seems to want to focus on the man instead of the woman who could be president.

Holy sheet! It sucks to be

Holy sheet! It sucks to be Claire McCaskill right now!!!

Hillary: from victim to accomplice

The absurd notion of Hillary as "victim" helped her political carreer. That's what I liked about the NYT article...

"It is not so simple to cast Hillary as a victim; she was also part of the damage-control team to vouch for her husband and undermine his mistress. White House aides and other Democrats spread the word that Monica was a troubled young woman with stalker tendencies. Sidney Blumenthal, a senior White House adviser, later testified that Hillary told him that “she was distressed that the president was being attacked, in her view, for political motives, for his ministry of a troubled person.” -Maureen Dowd

If the matter of Bill's "sexual predation" persists to the point of having another peek into Bill's vast history, it will be deeper, more revealing, and more believable publicly now than it was fifteen years ago. His "sexual predation" was so prolific for so long that notions of Hillary's role will turn from that of one being victimized to that of one being complicit.

Oh for the love of.....what an idiot!

I was just starting to like Rand again.

Look, as slimy and horrible and evil as Bill Clinton is - he was never accused of rape. He should not be called a "sexual predator" unless you have evidence that sex was not consensual. Not saying it isn't possible, but you should not accuse someone of a crime unless you have some evidence.

Was Monica Lewinski a stupid young girl who fell for the moves of a powerful and charismatic man? Absolutely. That is the fault of her parents. Were there attempts at intimidation? I'm sure there were. But that has nothing to do with the actual acts.

What about pointing out that Clinton killed half a million Iraqi children? What about bombing Pakistan? What about changing the CPI and repealing Glass-Steagle?

Rand looks like a petty mental midget with this. All those skeptical Democrats and Independents you hoped for, and needed, to win an election will disappear quickly with BS like this.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Clinton was accused of rape

At the time it was all over the news.

"What about pointing out that

"What about pointing out that Clinton killed half a million Iraqi children? What about bombing Pakistan? What about changing the CPI and repealing Glass-Steagle?"

I think the issues with is, are that

1) The American public doesn't care if Brown children are killed. Only Rand's libertarian base would care
2) Americans hate Pakistan. Never going to get much sympathy there. Only Rand's libertarian base would care.
3) Changing the CPI is a nuanced topic, and quite frankly, not really a good point if you actually examine the pricing model. The vast majority of Rand's base will not understand the issue.
4) Repealing Glass-Steagle to many in Rand's base is a good thing; less government regulation is ALWAYS good in the eyes of Rand's libertarian and other-Republican base.

Strategically, by bashing Clinton on his infidelity, Rand scores points with much of the Republican party, and while he will get some eye-rolling from the libertarians and RonPaulites, they aren't going to desert him.

Simple scandal and hypocrisy is the best that Boobus might grasp.

mental midget

Rand is in full campaign mode and the mental midgets will certainly not ignore the message. There is no high ground defending Bill Clinton when it comes to his role in "war on women".

As far as "sexual predator" status he qualifies under the " luring or enticing " of Meghan's law. Obama committed murder, Bill committed sexual luring and enticing in a federal workplace.... courts don't arbitrate the crime: get over it.

(it isn't lost on me that Clinton signed this into law...)

What about

Juanita Broderick?

Ugh. I can't believe I typed that. Here come the Clinton scandals again.

I wonder what kind of woman...

I wonder what kind of woman can still consider doing a manwhore like Bill.

A masochist?

Still, don't dream.

Nobody is going to see that money again.

Terrible tactics

This is a terribly ill-advised line of attack on Clinton that will strike most Americans as a cheap shot and an example of the kind of shallow politics that is supposed to be beneath the dignity of Rand Paul.

I rarely if ever agree with Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, but she hit the nail on the head when she said this of Rand's remarks: “I think most women understand that they should not be held accountable for the behaviors of their husbands.”

I think it's more subtle than that

In the American psyche there is this warm fuzzy longing for the "good old days" of the Clintons. Since then it's been one train wreck after another - war, torture, lies, bubbles, surveillance. You have to look back all the way to Reagan for another possible fiction of
the good old days" (Bush 1 doesn't provoke the same old good feelings).

That Clinton was comfortable getting blow jobs in the White House from his interns and then could look the American public right in the eye and LIE LIE LIE without it bothering him one little bit is one of those non-fuzzies that Hillary and the Dems would prefer not come out on stage.

That CLINTON CREATED the first NASDAQ collapse by provoking Greenspan to blow the credit bubble and by signing the revocation of Glass Steagall is a REALITY which is almost never attributed to Clinton. Only the fuzzy remains of Clinton's legacy.

But the REALITY is that Clinton established PERJURY as A-OK as long as you are politically connected.

Hillary and the Dems have been COUNTING on the warm fuzzy FICTION of Bill Clinton's term in office to pretty much sweep her into office.

They don't want the dark, creepy of Clinton committing a FELONY... openly, notoriously ... and basically laughing at the American public as he looked into the camera and lied to taint their staging of "the warm fuzzy".

It needs to start somewhere. Someone asked Rand a question. Rand answered. From there it was just a question of whether he was going to keep the topic in the public eye long enough to wake the sleeping public or let them go back to sleep.

I doubt this was Rand's preferred timing. And, perhaps, it wasn't even something he wanted to bring up at all.

But he can't -- and we can't -- afford to have Hillary ride Bill Clinton's warm fuzzy MISREMEMBRANCE of how great things were with the Clintons ... right into the White House.

It's sticky (pun intended) and it could backfire on Rand. But I think if he let it go now he wouldn't be able to bring it up effectively later.

The Dems want to be the minorities' party (while the continue to keep black men in jail); the workers' party (while they continue to swell the unemployment lines); the young peoples' party (while they continue marching them off to die in wars); the civil rights' party (while they accelerate their drive to exterminate all civil rights); and the womens' party WHILE THE CELEBRATE A SERIAL UNREPENTANT WOMANIZER...AND PREPARE TO PUT HIM INTO THE WHITE HOUSE AGAIN (for more blow jobs I guess).

Some one needs to call the Dems on their hypocrisy; they aren't going to call themselves, that is for sure.

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28

One other thing...Do you think Hillary didn't know?

Its' pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to keep affairs secret from your spouse without the spouse's complicity in keeping the dirty secrets secret. This is VERY well known in psychological circles.

What does it say about Hillary that she CLAIMS she was oblivious to SERIAL affairs and blow jobs occurring in her own house? What does it say that she didn't divorce Bill afterwards?

Is Hillary OBLIVIOUS to what goes on right under her own nose?

Does Hillary not CARE?

Does Hillary approve of PERJURY/ FELONIOUS conduct?

Is Hillary such a LOUSY judge of character?

Or will Hillary do anything & put up with anything for poltical power?

I think these are reasonable questions....

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28

not only that

but the press will have a field day painting him as already desperate, for bringing up something from 16 years ago. if he was talking about women's pay being equivalent to mens he'd have them all cheering.

rather than a flip flopper rand is more of a mixed bag and a unknown. one always wonders: will it be the good or bad rand? the smart or dumb rand? i predict this bit will get the clinton haters pounding their chests, but little else. it even has the potential of hurting him. the masses have long ago forgiven bill but it seems rand hasn't. he comes off petty and square, a reoccurring problem for this son of america's greatest statesman.

Im mixed on this. It is true

Im mixed on this. It is true that this was an issue from a bygone era. However, Rand is smart to start pointing every gun he can at the Clintons, who will most likely be his political adversaries for his presidential bid. Benghazi was long enough ago for the ADD public to forget by 2016 so he needs to keep the pressure up.

That is one thing Ron Paul didn't do which really hammered his campaign. He had plenty of guns to tear Romney apart but they took the "High Road" which led to nowhere and the campaign floundered and was diluted by the other idiots the GOP put on the stage for distraction.

If anything he is making himself part of the political conversation and doing what he can to go against Hillary who is going to definitely be the Lib. frontrunner in 2016.

We all share this eternally evolving present moment- The past and future only exist as inconsequential mental fabrications.

Did I miss something here???

I didn't hear him "demand" anything. All I heard was him expressing his opinion and beliefs.

suggesting they "should" ---> he "demands" <--- ?

Thanks for pointing that out, Daddy.

What happened to the Audit the Fed bill?

I recall Rand Paul tried to get it through the Senate by holding up the appointment of Janet Yellen but have been unable to find out what happened to it. She has been duly appointed so I am guessing that it failed. Does anyone know?

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
