Texas Grand Jury Rejects Murder Charges For Man Who Shot Deputy During No-Knock Raid

In an astonishing ruling, a Texas grand jury declined to press capital murder charges against a man who shot and killed a law enforcement officer executing a no-knock raid on his home. A Burleson County SWAT team raided the man's home near Snook on December 19th of last year.

28-year-old Henry Goedrich Magee said he shot and killed Burleson County Sgt. Adam Sowders, 31, because he thought he was being robbed and acted to protect his pregnant girlfriend and children. http://www.informationliberation.com/?id=46406

A warning

To all LEO's out here that the tide is turning slowly but steadily. We are not going to keep tolerating your abusive actions you perform each day by your willful compliance of enforcing/upholding unconstitutional codes/statutes. Furthermore, home raids, rapes, kidnappings, murders, killings of pets, that sort of stuff & more, these things only further facilitate many of us out here to despise the LE community even further, to top off your basic abuses of the US Constitution/our rights which are conducted daily in all agencies in the US. The folks over at PoliceOne are outraged that this guy was found not guilty of taking that rogue deputy down. Too bad he didn't kill more of them.

This is a double post, I repeat my reply....

Based on the outcome of the GJ decision.....

Will there be an application for change of venue?

"Renken said her office would "fully prosecute" that case."

Without it, even with it, how can they hope for an unbias decision or judges sentencing to the lessor charge?

This would be a great one for jury nullification..... to send a message!

If you can read this thank a teacher. Because it's in English thank a soldier!

Right decision

I wrote about this a while back. The dead cop's family should sue the County. They have a good case IMO:

Hopfully the Jury will find "not Guilty"

on the charge of possession of pot and a firearm.

Someone needs to 'fully inform' them

on their duties in regard to unjust laws.
