Lee Bright LAST in fundraising. Do we want to replace Graham with LIBERTY Or NOT?!

***Update:

Alright, somebody else and I just started a group called Endorsements for Lee Bright. It will take just about 30 minutes of your time a few days per week.

We created a Facebook group to be our meeting place. I know some don't have a Facebook, so try to possibly just create a fake account. If you don't want to do that, then let me know, we'll also have an e-mail account that will send out instructions, you just won't be able to interact with the group.

Go to the following link, join it, I'll approve you, and just wait for further instructions. Invite anybody you can to it. We're trying to get about 200 members before we start doing this. https://www.facebook.com/groups/310747235717262/

Maybe this is a wake up call? Sorry if I come off as sounding pissed, but I am. We have the oppurtunity to replace Graham with a Rand Paul. But where the support? So far South Carolina is by itself right now. No Tea Party, no Sarah Palin, no Campaign for Liberty, no Ron or Rand Paul, Freedomworks isn't endorsing...

But McConnell is getting that opposition. Greg Brannon is getting those endorsements in NC. But do people really not want to replace Graham and with the guy Lee Bright? Come on. What is the deal? Is Lindsey really that intimidating?!

Liberty movement is grassroots. We need to be the support, so far I'm not seeing it.

People suggested I add Bright's site for donations, so here it is: http://www.brightforsenate.com/

Also looks like a few of the liberty movement grassroots are starting a money bomb!:

I'm with 519rob. Certainly

I'm with 519rob. Certainly Graham needs to be replaced. But is Lee Bright the one? There are five Republican candidates, including Graham. I've been watching Nancy Mace myself. But we can wait until the primary to see who to throw money behind. We could throw money into Bright's campaign and he may not be in the runoff. Let's see who makes the runoff. I favor Nancy Mace myself, but we shall see after the primary.

Let Graham dig a deeper hole for himself in the meanwhile.

Mace has shown nothing to me

Mace has shown nothing to me that's worthy of my support. Cash seems to be listening more, but his past comments scare me, and seems to be the most interventionis candidate. Bill Connor just seems like your typical status quo, say anything to get tea party behind you, not his true convictions. Lee has the proven record, his votes step in line with the libertarian-republican brand of politics, plus the interview I did was the final convincing I needed. Not to mention Mace refused to be vetted by RLC, and they chose Bright who was completely open.

Also the strategy of waiting until the primary to donate is not a good one. There's no guarantee Graham will be in a runoff. Polls may look good now, but Graham has nearly $8 million of cash on hand. He could run for Governor! The challengers will play it like the 2012 Texas Senate race that involved Cruz. The attacks will be focused on Graham. But if we go to a runoff, we need to make sure we get the person we want in the runoff, and not a Richard Cash. While I wouldn't cry over Nace going to a runoff, There's a reason you see most libertarians getting behind Bright.

Prior to a runoff, any vote

Prior to a runoff, any vote for ANY candidate other than Graham helps to trigger the runoff.

Yes, but you're failing to

Yes, but you're failing to recognize the importance of what happens next, i.e., the two highest vote getters will be the ones in the runoff. One will obviously be Graham, and the other one will be a challenger. And so your comments which are trying to discourage people from rallying behind a Graham challenger because you don't think that's what is most important, is horrible advice.

We need the best candidate in the runoff against Graham. What would be the point of voting Graham out if the runoff challenger is just as much as an interventionist?

If Richard Cash (maybe Cash has changed, but I could not endorse him with my liberty vote) or Bill Connor make it to the runoff, I honestly don't think I could vote for them and would abstain. And then I see Lee Bright as the best candidate by far. So your reasoning that people shouldn't try to rally behind a particular candidate and get them to the runoff, is terrible logic and terrible advice.

I'm not discouraging anyone.

I'm not discouraging anyone. I just think you seem over zealous about Bright. I've heard the man speak and I was not overly impressed. For that matter, I'm not impressed with Mace either. There seem to be quite a few candidates all over the country these days spouting off about liberty this and liberty that. I don't believe half of them. I think most of them are co opting and cashing in on a movement. I sincerely hope that my cynicism is unfounded in more cases than not. At any rate, good luck in your fight.

Lee Bright isn't a Ron Paul,

Lee Bright isn't a Ron Paul, but he's a Rand Paul. And I completely understand if you don't agree with that type of politics, and if you think we should only try to elect "pure" guys like Ron. But if you agree with the "Rand Paul strategy", then there's no question Lee Bright is your choice (and then they go downhill from there).

The interview he gave me, where he took a question on Agenda 21 (which most politicians would never touch), and flat out said the EPA, TSA, Dept of Ed should be ELIMINATED, are many bold statements that a status-quo or unprincipled candidate would never say.

He is the best candidate by

He is the best candidate by far. As a matter of fact, in word, he is a better candidate than any in the country for any office, save Ron Paul. And that is what scares me. He seems to be 100% on most issues I care about. Seems too easy. Maybe I'm just too jaded. Or maybe I'm unused to hearing those things spoken with a South Carolina dialect. Time will tell and as I said, good luck. I have my own windmills at home.

Lee Bright was one of only 3

Lee Bright was one of only 3 SC Senators who endorsed Ron in 2012, and in exchange was endorsed by Ron for his primary.

"I see Lee Bright as the best candidate by far."

Me too.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Why do you assume a runoff?

Graham will avoid a runoff if Bright and or Mace, don't get some serious money soon. Lindsey is disliked by voters. So what? most politicians are disliked. But voters simply will not vote for Bright or Mace, unless they see adds, interviews, flyers etc. Lots of good people will not even turn out to vote unless they hear about a challenger

There will not be a runoff, unless South Carolina gets behind the challengers now.

There are other candidates

There are other candidates besides Bright. Some liberty folks are supporting Nancy Mace. Regardless, a candidate has to top 50% to avoid a runoff. Ol' Lindsey will not get 50% . There will be a runoff. Then the money will come to the final opposition to Graham.

At this point, I know there

At this point, I know there are some liberty people still behind Mace, but there's not "a lot". The RLC endorsed Lee, Mace refused to be vetted by the RLC. Libertarian Girl is already sending her people over to Bright. Mace has shown nothing to win my liberty vote over. Now I've heard her talking points, because that's all she does. Never jus speaks on conviction. The interview I did with Lee that he granted me, prett much won me over on his comments on stuff like Agenda 21, in which I don't even think Mace knows what that is (until a supporter reads this and updates her). ;)

Over Confident, IMO

I have watched a lot of polls, and elections. Just because he is polling slightly below 50% now, does not mean he will end up in a runoff. Most voters will NOT vote against a candidate, unless they are familiar with the opposition. They will vote for Bright/Mace not just against Lindsey. People in SC need to support whichever candidate they individually prefer. Right NOW.

You know your politics

You know your politics Stonewall!

I agree

Nobody will endorse until the primary is over and there is a runoff. I think the money and endorsements will come flying in then.

That's only 2 Weeks

There are only 2 weeks, between the Primary and runoff, in SC. That is not enough time. we have to get some endorsements and money rolling in now.

RLC already endorsed Lee.

RLC already endorsed Lee. Congressman Steve Stockman just endorsed Bright.
