Check out his wiki.. his political beliefs:
"On August 3, 2012, he (Eastwood) attended a fundraiser for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, stating that Romney would boost the country and "restore a decent tax system ... so that there's a fairness and people are not pitted against one another as [to] who's paying taxes and who isn't."
During a speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention, Eastwood talked to an empty chair as if President Barack Obama were sitting in it."
Why didn't he attend the LIBERTARIAN convention?
I'm the biggest Clint fan in the world (mainly his old westerns), but you can't claim to be a Libertarian and then vote for Mitt (Arab-hating, Neo-Con, war-mongering, more drug laws, big-government, big foreign-aid) Romney.
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
At least, I don't know if he's an actual party member, but he's been on the list of admitted libertarians for at least a couple of decades.
If you didn't know that, it's because you're relying on the MSM instead of being in the libertarian alternative news loop.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
Not sure why he's not more active and why he was at Tampa..
If you asked him if he likes Ron Paul he'd say yes..
Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007
Hmmm... I kind of thought some of those remarks at the RNC were more then what many people thought.
To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.
Agreed. Some people thought he was senile and that he was spouting gibberish. But IMO, Clint just punked them with their pants down.
They got trolled. :p
