U.S. press freedom plunges to 46th, placing it behind former Soviet states

The massive drop is attributable mostly to the Obama Administration’s effort to crack down on whistleblowers. Obama’s Justice Department has filed suit against more whistleblowers than any other presidential administration in history.

Forty-sixth places it behind the former Soviet republics of Lithuania and Latvia and the satellite states of Romania, Poland and Czechoslovakia (both the Czech Republic and Slovakia). It also puts it behind Ghana, South Africa and El Salvador.

“Countries that pride themselves on being democracies and respecting the rule of law have not set an example, far from it,” wrote Reporters Without Borders Tuesday. “Freedom of information is too often sacrificed to an overly broad and abusive interpretation of national security needs, marking a disturbing retreat from democratic practices. This Country never had Press Freedom.

It became clear right after the plot to blast the head off of President John Kennedy right in broad daylight, that we had no "free press".

The truth was impossible to obtain even back then (1963) just like any other Totalitarian society.

And in case anyone thought that this was just a one-time aberration, we had a blatant stolen Election in 2000 too (where the declared 'winner' lost the National Vote by 550,000 votes, and the 'winning' campaign criminally suppressed the counting of perfectly valid, human readable votes in the light of day by a myriad of physical, legal, and electronic tactics). The U.S.A. press made it all possible again.

The only single case of the Establishment Press in this Country fighting for truth over power was Watergate. But even that itself was a smokescreen. For Nixon's crimes were just the tip of the iceberg of the more larger history of CIA crimes -- which Nixon revealed and spoke about on the famous Watergate Tapes. That's why with Warren Commission cover-up man Gerald Ford positioned to take over, Nixon went away quietly -- while the CIA's murderous history was then never put on Trial. Only a small fraction of the Watergate Tapes were ever made public, and with just that small amount -- the public Watergate Hearings were then forced into secret sessions (that's how important those Tapes were).

But Gerald Ford, naturally, pardoned Nixon from all crimes (so there would be no possible Trial), and returned the majority of the Watergate Tapes over to Nixon to destroy -- so that none of that information was ever made public.

The CIA always wins.
They run the show here.

But the origins of the U.S.A. Press Takeover coincided with the creation of The Council on Foreign Relations. Who is at the top of the pyramid? The Rothschilds, The Rockefellers, The Warburgs , The Morgans.

When will the day come when these criminals are called out by name, and dealt with, rather than simply the endless revolving door of lower level puppets and lackeys that they hire?

This is merely a tactical ploy by the Obama administration

They figure if we have LESS freedom - the terrorists will stop hating us for our freedoms - then they will stop attacking us for those freedoms.

See - they aren't so stupid after all.

I saw this the other day.

I saw this the other day. You'd think it would wake up some of the zombies but I don't see this report having much of an effect. As long as the "people" get their Honey Boo Boo and Kim Kardashian TV, they don't care about anything else.
