America's Lost Opportunity: New Book About Stolen 2012 Election

Noticed this in an ad right here on the Daily Paul! Check it out!

From the summary on Amazon:

Transparency? Fair elections? Truth in media? Who controls? A government for and by the people? A come-from-behind Warren G. Harding victory?

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney won the nomination in Tampa at the GOP national convention. But the last standing Republican presidential candidate to Romney, Dr. Ron Paul, had an army of grassroots delegates headed to the national convention.

Republican primaries and caucuses began in early 2012, followed by Republican state conventions; presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) had solid, consistent support. But alleged fraud in certain early primary/caucus contests, deceptive and unfair practices at state GOP conventions, and the mainstream media's dismissive attitude about Paul's presidential bid certainly impeded his candidacy.

At many state GOP conventions where delegates to the national convention were selected, Ron Paul amassed delegate majorities. While these victories were won based on the rules in play and his number of delegates swelled, subsequent challenges arose. At the national convention, the party leadership and formal structure actually de-credentialed Paul delegates, preventing Ron Paul's name from being put in nomination.

Yet the RNC rules clearly stipulated that a presidential candidate's name can be placed in nomination with a plurality of delegates in five or more states. That threshold was clearly met by presidential candidate Ron Paul. Stolen victories? Vigilance and political engagement are required now more than ever! This book provides insights about the unfolding events and circumstances surrounding the presidential nomination process from winning state delegates, to Tampa, the general election, and its aftermath.

don't forget the emergency

don't forget the emergency RNC meeting that specifically changed its rules to exclude ron paul delegates!

What the GOP did to Dr. Paul

was a harbinger of what would happen within the GOP, which would render them impotent to fight Obamacare and for a balanced budget.Perhaps that was part of the plan all along.

Yet none of today's neo-con pundits--who suddenly have all become pseudo independents, distancing themselves from the GOP they use to love and adore---- will admit to this dirty backstabbing that happen to Ron Paul's delegates, lest they are obliged to admit their culpability in assisting in Dr. Paul's political assassination.

There is no hope in the GOP. They are all quislings who sold out to save their jobs.

Sadly, fairness and objectivity is lost on the media and the GOP. Most Americans are sheep, and will not comprehend, much less care, how the Tampa GOP convention was a blatant atrocity of the political process that make citizens' representation by vote null and void.

Ron Paul people

What the Ron Paul people did in the 2012 election (amazing!!) and after will become Ron Paul's legacy.

Republicans were so smug in what they did to Ron Paul. Like

little children who got away with a prize by cheating at a game where nobody really caught them.

I only wish a few more of them were bright enough to realize that their eventual LOSS in the general election was directly tied to this.

The Republicans got the simple "I hate Obama." vote, but they DIDN'T get the votes from the only dynamic, charisma driven part of the party - the man who could fill a 20,000 seat auditorium with a moment's notice, of course, RON PAUL. (Romney couldn't fill a phone booth).

To this day Republicans blame fraud, or the idea that Romney didn't promise enough handouts. They still don't realize that they mutilated themselves and virtually guaranteed their eventual loss at the primary.

so true

With all due respect, I will no longer be a voting prostitute for Constitution rejecting harlots.

I agree absolutely!

"Any government that is big enough to give everything you need is also strong enough to take it all away."

What is disappointing for me is that I did not see Ron Paul try to fight back very much. He would just shrug off the issue.

He could have legally tried to challenge the results of certain primaries and caucuses. He could have had a team of spotters at various places in anticipation of fraud and foul play (to catch them in advance). He could have had a team of watchdogs at the caucuses where they battle out the delegate rules and procedures. He could have collected all this information (through the Campaign itself), and then used the Internet to expose these crimes, argue his case, and create a major backlash against Mitt Romney and taint and spoil his whole campaign -- and make him now completely unacceptable to the public.

Instead, Ron Paul's own son eagerly endorsed Romney, and his overtly corrupt campaign (and by extension endorsed all the rigged tactics used), and the only people doing any fighting were nameless, unpaid volunteers.

The Ron Paul Campaign was uninvolved, and uninterested, and all to happy to cheerfully concede State after State, and even publicly concede the whole race altogether (and go silent) prematurely long before Romney ever even had the qualifying delegate math.

It was sort of like when John Kerry once said he was going to count the votes carefully and "fight" in Ohio in 2004. There was no fight, only lightning-quick public acceptance, and voluntary legitimization of entirely corrupt and criminal results.

Nobody ever really fights anymore in this Country.
We are a Nation of cowards, who have just accepted our oppression and our slavery.

He could have, he could have

If you listened to him carefully he did just want he wanted to do. "It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men". Samuel Adams

He lit the brush fires of freedom. Calmly with class that's seldom seen in modern politics, he got the message out to thousands, now millions understand. He really did win.

As far as Rand goes, look who's in the spotlight in the Senate, taking over where his dad left off.
Have patience grasshopper.

I see your point of view, but .....

Is 1) "an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires" and 2) "calmly with class", really the same thing?

Aren't you confusing unnecessary concession with "class"?

Besides, Ron Paul got his message out there way back in the year 2007. Almost a decade later, nothing has changed in Washington, and a more confrontational approach is required to have any real impact.

So there is no virtue in concession, and capitulation. Maybe Ron Paul has done exactly what he wanted (sell books?).

But power in high places does not ever give up their position. It has to be taken away from them. Being polite won't do what is needed. And when they cheat, the cheaters and the cheating have to also be forcefully exposed, and called out.

It's going to take something much more 'revolutionary' for this Country to change, then one old man...selling a few books.

I have the same criticism for Jesse Ventura too. He always gets on TV to speak forcefully against the system (while he promote his books) -- but he never attempts to run a real campaign, and really do anything about who is in the seat of power.

The people with the knowledge and cultural popularity to do something.....need to really do something, something big, VERY BIG. The grassroots can help them. But the grassroots also need to have someone who will not shrink from the battles.

There was no such thing as a polite Revolution.

It's been said that we have the government that we deserve

These politicians get elected promising to give us something using our own money to do it. As long as people fall for that, thinking they are getting something for nothing it won't change, it will only get worse. Dr. Paul peacefully woke up a generation using the best platform he had and I believe it will make a difference.

There may not be polite revolutions, but there have been peaceful revolutions and the power in high places may not give up their positions, but they will pivot on a dime if need be. When and if the majority wakes up and demands liberty, things will change.

ACA was sold by the politicians telling everyone it was free or much less expensive. Once people realized they had to pay for it, now 68% of the people are opposed to it.

Rand is a suck up to the establishment .

He is nothing like his dad. At least Ron had a set between his legs. Rand got no set. This sucking up to McConnell and the bigoted tea party is not impressive. Mrs Paul has more than Rand!

So, Matt, pray tell,

about Ron Paul's and his wife's genitals.

You just fit in so well here and I pay to come to this site to read such enlightened opinions.

it is a figure of speech.

But I did understand your comment. I think you ment pay not pray. Cause why would I pray about Ron and his wife gentials? What I am trying to say that ron and his wife has more back bone than their son. Is that better for the uptight gop that get upset about any improper language?

The entire 'rigged' nature of the 2012 election

was aptly described by one Amazon reader reviewer:

“This was the election that made me realize that we no longer have elections in this country and we are now third world with the establishment firmly in place and staying there. The cheating, media corruption and unfair coverage, and election fraud was all apparent to anyone out there in the trenches;”

This will be a good explanation to enlighten friends and family as to why many of us wrote in Ron Paul rather than participate in a sham election process.

Thanks for posting. Just got

Thanks for posting. Just got the Kindle version...next on my reading list.

Sadly...This Book Will be Ignored

Just like the blatant election fraud was ignored while it was happening. After all, why would the media deliberately ignore and/or ridicule Ron Paul in order to sink his campaign and then provide coverage when his campaign was also being sunk by election fraud? Kudos to the author for covering an important subject, but sadly... this book will be largely ignored.

Compared to all other books that are ignored.

Bump - for a great book post.

Thank you for posting responsibly at the Daily Paul, with news of specific interest to this community.

He's the man.

Hi Michael,

I'd like a little clarification if you wouldn't mind;

About 10 days ago, I had posted an "ad", regarding a firearm promotion which is against the rules. Although I had read the rules when I first joined, I failed to realize at the time I made this recent post, that this was against the rules (rule #5 Do not engage in flame wars, personal attacks on other members, incite or encourage violence, post spam or advertisements.) - my fault for trying to speed read and assuming that rule # 5 pertained solely to personal attacks - I apologize for that. I've been guilty of doing it a couple of times in the past as well. Once during the campaign because there were Ron Paul stickers, magnets, shirts, and signs discounted. And another time because people were complaining about ammo shortages (that may have actually just been a reply to someone & not really a post). Again, I'm sorry.

I've been on the other side too when I pointed out to the mods how there was someone on here spamming their book on 3 separate posts they had made and it was ignored.

My confusion lies in your comment above of, "Thank you for posting responsibly at the Daily Paul, with news of specific interest to this community." At a time when our government is pushing gun control and trying to confiscate our guns, I would think that my recent posting about the BOGO firearms would have been of specific interest to this particular community. It seemed like it, since it had 14 up-votes at the time. The single comment by user "SteveMT", told me to "take it to Ebay". Unfortunately, it wasn't my product to sell and I wasn't trying to promote a company so much as trying to get others here a good deal if they simply couldn't afford one previously. I was going to take it to the mods though, but I saw that SteveMT had already beaten me to it. I also read your reply to him & I completely understand - no biggie.

For future reference, if it's an ad, regardless of interest to this community, then I should not post it - correct? Thank you.

Thank you Michael

for this comment and all you do to better our world. I would vote this up 100 pts - Yahoo for the brave new book!
Michael, other than family this is my social community and has been for quite a while. I am checking on here 3 or 4 times most every day. This is where I expect to find the latest on threats to our liberty, survival and the best of candidates to watch.

We've been taught to fear death

Thusly an explanation of inaction on the only viable recourse in action available to us any more.
We we've reached that jumping off point: that is when what we give up is no longer worth holding onto in the current circumstance and thusly becomes expandable, even considered useless in its current state.

When a man has nothing left to lose for freedom save his life, he is then able to spend it to the salvation of other men.

I am not a proponent of violence, I don't want a second American revolution. But my friends, my reasoning is age and injuries suffered now and is not because death holds any power over me. I don't trumpet my position because it's none of the NSA's f-ing business. As I am no threat to them untill they leave me no other way past them, and then and only then I will lightly ask God my Father to remove their breath of life as I walk through their falling corpses felled by Gods hand and not by mine. ( For I do not carry a weapon of men in this time, and neither do I fall pressing ever towards the enemy...... A repetitive dream from my youth ).

I'm ready when God says " it's time ".

God Bless
