I`ll second that. concur completely

.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.
Thomas Sowell

Ron Paul

had young people flocking to him in droves.

Maybe Rand and the GOP should figure out what it is about Ron Paul that's so attractive, and emulate that.

When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign: that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~J. Swift

Rand has a pretty good

Rand has a pretty good showing of support from Ron's base. He wouldn't need the ones who don't...they're the kooky ones.

I'm only kidding guys. Take a joke.

Most of the people who supported Ron are supporting Rand

Don't believe me? The DP is a good sample of hardcore Ron Paul supporters; pro-Rand posts here get upvoted, while anti-Rand posts here get downvoted. What does that tell you?

The anti-Rand Paulites are a minority. Rand will get much the same grasroots support as Ron did. The difference is that Rand will also have other support, from among the average voters who scorned Ron.

not true at aLL, I WAS A

not true at aLL, I WAS A HARDCORE RON PAUL DELGATE AND ALL. RAND CAN GO JUMP OFF A CLIFF. OOPS CAPS.

good luck with the santorum delegates in my county.

Ron Paul 2016

Um, note that I said *most* not *all*

The fact that you won't support Rand hardly disproves my claim that most will.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

not any more

than you can prove that most will.

do you really see rand packing in thousands of passionate students at the universities like his dad did?

uhm you do realize Rand is neither

Running yet nor is he speaking at universities for support.

Them pesky facts.

you

could fool me.

i guess liberty and howard don't count?

no he hasn't announced a final decision but he is doing everything one does who is preparing to run.

and still the question: do you seriously think he'll get the response and crowds his dad got at the colleges?
go watch ron at berkeley for crying out loud. now imagine how rand would do there. please.

I dont claim to know the future

like you seem to. Dont straw man me.

Captain obvious.

i've noticed

the posters who use that tired old line generally have

a chip on their shoulder, and/or have lost confidence in their stance.

What is your deal?

Can you not accept that me pointing out the facts hurt your statement? To proud to admit defeat or to much of a jerk to concede a point?
I've noticed you don't care to much about the facts but more about winning the argument.

What is your deal?

The facts you have pointed out are common knowledge, so it's amusing you calling me captain obvious. Michael put up a post recently about getting into arguments on trivial matters and that the best way to deal with it is to simply shut it down. This "conversation" at least from my side is now shut down.

Common knowledge

and in complete opposition to your original statement.

You can take your ball and go home if you don't want to play anymore. It doesn't make you any more correct in your argument and it doesn't make you "above" me either.

No, They Can't.

No, They Can't.

Too late. Nobody is going to fool anybody anymore.

No-One can "EMULATE" an ORIGINAL. No "new young actor" can attempt to fool millions of people. IT WILL NOT WORK. PERIOD.

It is not a "front-runner" person /individual people DO NOT LIKE.

IT IS THE ENTIRE REPUBLICAN PARTY. ALL OF THEM, FROM THE VERY TOP.

It is something No Amount Of Strategy Can Solve. It's Simple:

KARMA. You Reap What You Sow.

The Republican Party Destroyed Itself In Tampa. Last Chance Gone.

Wisdom Strategies

O.O?

I do not like the establishment at all.
but.....the whole party?
Justin Amash?
Mike lee?

You know the handful of people who keep voting against the worst of the worst tend to be Republican right?
It is only a few but you would condemn them with the rest?

You are clearly throwing the baby out with the bathwater?

"You only live free if your willing to die free."

Sounds like you're overflowing with spite and defeatism

What's your plan, other than whining?

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

What's YOUR plan?

Other than supporting the very party that has helped destroy this country at every opportunity? The very party that occasionally talks a good game, but always backstabs libertarians and moderates come election time?

"He beats me because he loves me!"

A signature used to be here!

To get liberty-minded persons elected to office

And the easiest way to do that is through the GOP.

As for the GOP, the party is made up of PEOPLE. Don't hate "the party," hate the particular PEOPLE who have been running it - and try to REPLACE THEM.

Or sit around and whine...

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Gilligan's picture

Yes. "To change government, you have to become government."

Many of the establishment types in the Republican party have been replaced by Libery people who were motivated by Ron Paul. The job is not done; there are still many establishment Republicans left. Reince Priebus, for example. But more progress is being made every month. Today's Republican party is very, very different than it was in just 2012.

Google is government.
