Fox Boycott Working, and a Word on DobbsSubmitted by griff on Wed, 01/30/2008 - 00:55
Fox's ratings are tumbling. Ratings = ad revenue. Spread the word even more.
It's time to add the others to the boycott. None are our friends.
If you have digital cable or satellite, block the channels so they know they are blocked.
Resist the temptation to visit their sites and watch their channels. It isn't worth it watching all day just for a glimpse or a mention of Paul. Let's see all their ratings drop.
Forgiveness will be granted on debate nights.
Now to Dobbs...
I used to like Dobbs before this whole Independents Day BS. It got me to thinking that he was shilling for Hillary by siphoning GOP votes.
Now I'm not so sure. Perhaps Lou anticipated an Independent run by Paul, but obviously couldn't endorse him and keep his job.
I am totally against switching to a third party run at this juncture, but Lou may have been working to stack the deck for the Good Doctor all along.
Some 40% of Americans are registered Independent, and Lou is working hard to fill those ranks. He practically endorses Paul without even mentioning his name.
There is still much work to be done, and I believe the best strategy is to stay in the GOP race as the field winnows. If an Independent run is in the cards, then we definitely need the exposure right now that isn't available to Independents.
I hate to borrow from Dubya, but "Stay The Course" is the phrase of the day.
And remember, every click of the remote or mouse is a click for advertising dollars for the MSM.
