The War On Men: 10 Ways Masculinity is Under Attack

2) Chemical Warfare “Feminizing” Boys

Exposure to phthalates, which are found in many plastics, is “feminizing” boys by blocking normal male testosterone and causing genital abnormalities, according to scientists. “Boys exposed to high levels of these in the womb were less likely than other boys to play with cars, trains and guns or engage in “rougher” games like playfighting,” according to a BBC News report. According to Elizabeth Salter-Green, director of the chemicals campaign group CHEM Trust, phthalates are a true “gender-bender” because they lead to a reduction in “male behavior”.

3) Degradation of Positive Masculine Role Models

Whereas 50 years ago, advertising, Hollywood and television was filled with examples of positive masculine role models that young men could look up to, today’s entertainment industry routinely portrays men as clueless and bumbling oafs at best (think Homer Simpson, Everybody Loves Raymond, Married With Children) or at worst as aggressive sexual predators. Since advertising is primarily aimed at women, men in commercials are also now routinely depicted as either being emasculated losers or stupefied morons. Young men consuming this content grow up thinking that it is acceptable and even encouraged to aspire to these character traits. In doing so, they are robbed of their natural masculinity and find it extremely difficult to attract well-rounded women, who are rightly disgusted by such behavior. The entertainment industry is largely controlled by men, again underscoring the fact that this assault is a top down trend that has little or nothing to do with the gender war.

4) Metrosexual Malaise

Second wave feminism was a creation of the establishment itself and at its core has little whatsoever to do with genuine concern about women’s rights. Radical feminism deliberately confuses gender roles and makes young men apprehensive about exercising their masculinity for fear of being seen as overbearing or aggressive towards women. This has contributed to an entire generation of “metrosexual” men who are promiscuous, unwilling to commit to a relationship and unable to fulfil a women’s basic needs for healthy companionship, destabilizing society and making it more difficult for women to find suitable long term partners with whom to have children.

There is no attack on one

There is no attack on one gender. There is an attack on gender roles, and more notably, family values. Society is not male-oriented. Business may be, but society is not. Females having kids and working is just as devastating to a kid's development as an emasculated emotional father.

yes Dear. we are not engaged in mental warfare.

we are engaged in mental floss!

and no, your butt does not look fat in that dress.

The greatest attack is making

The greatest attack is making all females sluts, so good men won't want to even bother looking for a woman because they're all just sloppy second non-adult girls. Females are also supposedly perfect, immune from being told they're fat, but guys are supposed to be projects for women to work on, instead of being accepted as they are. That's all I have to say on the matter. It's a fact in my mind based on my observations, and no one is going to sway me any different, so don't bother replying if you disagree.

I am forced to concur wholeheartedly with your analysis!

Good to see this on Daily Paul and InfoWars.

The war on men is of course pushed by the elite but the tools such as false allegations of abuse (leading to loss of children, homes, financial security and, yes, even incarceration) are used by individual women against men. Individuals have a choice.

The problem goes back quite some time. Here's a 2000 production by WCVB Boston on how the war is used against men:

Thank you for posting this. I

Thank you for posting this.

I have been talking with co-workers for years now how it is irritating that commercials (and prime-time comedies) portray husbands as complete idiots. We all (males and females) agree that this is ridiculous and disgraceful.

A few of us (including one woman) have started claiming we are "masculinists", promoting the advancement of equality for men in culture. So far our grassroots mock-campaign has produced few results.

fireant's picture

Been going on for a long time...

since at least the 60's.
What they don't realize though is men don't forget how to be men, and you can't suppress nature indefinitely. Unfortunately, re-claiming stolen manhood can be expressed in unwise ways, with crime and hate. It will be a struggle to shed the shackles of suppression, but it will happen.

Undo what Wilson did

Yes, I agree

that males are being feminized and women are being masculined. It is like some sort of weird role reversal thing, very creepy.

Daily Paul cured my abibliophobia.

Brother, I raised my daughter alone.

from about 2.5 to 8 years of age,
my son and I had to fight off constant innuendos of sexual abuse.

My daughter lived in a fortress of protection against that.
it was not until I sent her to live with my ex.

that it really, (turned out almost) happened. I was very proud of my daughter for fighting back,

I made it very clear to my daughter what was appropriate and what was NOT appropriate.

yes, Men are under attack and have been since at least the mid 90's.
