Cute and Smooth Presentation

I want to like this, but...
The Constitution does not "purport to grant rights"; it protects rights.

I thought this video was on-track until presenting an apparent non sequitur:
[Civilian disarmament is not going to happen.] + [We have bad gov't.] = Question the Constitution?

In my opinion, veering onto the "question-the-Constitution" tangent is unnecessarily entering very dangerous territory. Maybe it was innocently, or ignorantly, accidental; but I am reminded of the propaganda tactic of telling 95% truth to gain credibility, with just a bit of an mind-bender tossed in for effect.

Having said that, maybe we should question gov't officials who violate the Constitutional law and also maybe question the validity of funding and maintaining a standing army...and MAYBE we should open a discussion on making PROFITEERING from WAR illegal or, at least, un-possible; nationalizing essential industries and giving profit sharing to those people whose work benefits the nation might be something to consider. We already nationalize risk, "too big to fail"; and receive little benefit from that...but I don't want to stray too far off-topic.

Your analysis is spot on.

"propaganda tactic of telling 95% truth to gain credibility, with just a bit of an mind-bender tossed in for effect."

There are those who are strategically planning for an Article V and proceed with "federal regions", which I vehemently OPPOSE.

The Bill of Rights outlines our inherent rights. Without the Constitution, they are free to draft any progressive document that they want as we plummet further into slavery.

The Constitution does not need to be restored. The Constitution needs to be ENFORCED.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

The Constitution needs to be

The Constitution needs to be eliminated along with the big government it was guaranteed to usher in. If you can't see in hindsight that the Constitution is actually chains and not armor, and that it was all along compared to what it replaced, you need to go back and take a closer look.

Politicians everywhere laugh behind the back of Constitution worshippers because they know at the end of the day they can make it say whatever they want. The problem is the sheer size of gov which the Constitution has helped grow a million fold.

"In reality, the Constitution itself is incapable of achieving what we would like in limiting government power, no matter how well written."

~ Ron Paul, End the Fed

Pretty sure they broke up.

Pretty sure they broke up. Adam told the story about his house getting raided recently, and referred to her as "my girlfriend at the time".

Right on, sister!

Preach it!

Refreshing

...to say the least

Excellent presentation.

Only problem is that these arguments use logic. People who want to disarm individual people while celebrating the carnage caused by governments don't like logic. It just doesn't agree with them I suppose. (sarcasm)
