CT is Starting to Threaten Gun Owners with Confiscation

http://www.ammoland.com/2014/02/connecticut-tells-gun-owners...

If it happened in Connecticut, it is going to happen in all states.
We must stand with those in Ct who are being infringed upon.

New York State
New Jersey
Maryland
Ohio

A call to arms.

The Domestic Enemy is coming.

Forewarned is Forearmed.

Start recalling State Congress and governor.

.

YES!

.

What would the Founders do?

As horrible and tyrannical as this is,

I have to disagree with your comment: "If it happened in Connecticut, it is going to happen in all states." Here in Wyoming, where one can concealed (or not) carry WITHOUT a permit, the police are actually giving concealed carry classes so we keep our rights, by using them. I can't even imagine Wyoming doing this. I have lived here for 15 years, and I don't know anyone without at least one gun, and most have several or more. Guns are such a part of Wyoming life, that politicians NEVER mention ANY type of gun control.

Wyoming...

is not isolated.
Your turn is coming.
You will know it is upon you when over 50% of the people are sucking up welfare... that's when it engulfed NY.

Yes, Wyoming is not isolated,

but it is doing well economically, compared to other states, thanks to the oil/gas industries and although there is welfare here, it is seldom seen, as work is plentiful, and most who do not have work move out of the state. This state is the most rural state, with only 5 people per square mile. It is different than the eastern states.

Serious matters

Easy for me to say in PA, but I intend to hold my ground accordingly

How do the rulers protect themselves?

Does Lt. Eric Cooke have any "assault weapons" in his home?

Because it seems he'll be needing to defend himself and his family after his behavior. Consequences are guaranteed, timing is uncertain.

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

We also know where they live

People need to start making lists, on paper only, of home addresses for those who are violating the Constitution.
If "they" know where "we" live, "we" should know where "they" live.

The government powers are limited by the Constitution. It is time for us to remind these communist socialists of that. The Constitution is not just a "scrap of paper". It is a guarantee for all the citizens of the sovereign states and commonwealths who "joined" a union of states, the natural rights of the citizens will be upheld.

Connecticut may well be the keg of powder to set off the revolt. It will have to happen in our time, against the tyranny of our "elected" employees.

The New York State flag is a Liberty Flag. It was flown by our NYS 3rd regiment, led by General Gates against Burgoyne at Saratoga, the battle that was the turning point of the American Revolution. Lady Liberty, and Lady Justice, still grace this flag today. Lady Liberty still steps on the crown of tyranny - our "Domestic Terrorists" and Treasonous Traitors to our Freedom and Liberty - and America.

All of America need to adopt the NYS flag as our symbol of Liberty. Fly it with our Stars and Stripes.

STAND YOUR GROUND CT

If scumbags come and try to STEAL your PROPERTY, do what you would do to ANY THIEF. STAND YOUR GROUND!

Maybe if these pieces of dirt loose enough "yes men" then they might get the idea to stop their charade..

Ex Post Facto: IN YOUR FACE!!!

NOTHING compares to this breaking news. Seriously.
Connecticut is THE experiment... the canary.
Besides 2nd amendment issues,
they are attempting to enforce an EX POST FACTO law upon the citizenry.
It is Constitutionally forbidden.
Clause 3 of Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution dictates that Congress is prohibited from passing ex post facto laws.

Clause 3. "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed."

►A bill of attainder is a law that simply declares, by legislative fiat, that certain people are guilty of a crime and then imposes some kind of punishment upon them. In other words, it's a way for a legislature to act like judge and jury, convicting and punishing people without benefit of trial. Bills of attainder used to be used occasionally by the British Parliament; the American Founding Fathers viewed them as terrible violations of liberty and banned them from the United States.

An ex post facto law is a law that retroactively criminalizes a certain act after it has already been committed. In other words, it would allow a person to be prosecuted for doing something that wasn't actually illegal yet at the time they did it. The framers of the Constitution viewed ex post facto laws, like bills of attainder, as blatant abuses of power and banned them.

States are prohibited from passing ex post facto laws by clause 1 of Article I, Section 10.

No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

Failure to register is a felony in Connecticut.

If the doors start getting kicked in, and the blood flows...
the problem then becomes: how do THEY (leo's & politicians) protect THEIR persons, workplaces, homes and families from similar reprisals?
I don't think they have thought this through.

"...all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

The Constitution applies because too many have DIED in order to secure it's legacy.

WE are the legacy.

Ex Post Facto. Its in your face.
"When it's time to bury your guns, you should be digging them up."

One solution: RECALL those who supported gun confiscation. (like Denver)

SteveMT's picture

CT follows the path of Hitler and Nazi Germany.

First require registration, then confiscate. They didn't care that the registration rate was very low. It didn't matter. The goal was to mandate their confiscation no matter how few registered their assault weapons/magazines. That was the plan, but will it work?

All the gun owners need to

All the gun owners need to form an organiztion called the minutemen or something similar, and form a plan to organize on a minutes notice to respond by the thousands if anyone starts confiscating guns. I think if a 10 man swat team was surrounded by about 2000 well armed men, that the gun confiscation would come to an abrupt halt.

It wouldn't take that many

but good thinking nonetheless. (I think Jesse Ventura at one time said he could shut down a big portion of Amerika with a few of his seal buddies)
