GRAPHIC: Raw Video of Arrest Released After Man Dies in Moore Police Custody

I really didn't want to post this, its so sad, but the information has to be spread, in an effort to help curb this kind of deplorable behavior.

This is a continuation of the story posted here:

http://www.dailypaul.com/312711/family-says-moore-police-bea...

After weeks of accusations, the public is now getting the chance to see a video that was taken the night a local man died in police custody.

Nair Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez’s wife, said from the beginning her husband was beaten by police.

On Tuesday, her attorney’s office released the video, allowing everyone to decide for themselves what happened to him.

In the video, Nair Rodriguez is heard calling for her husband to tell her if he’s okay.

However, he did not answer.

NEVER call the f'ing cops...

NEVER call the f'ing cops... Doesn't matter if there's a gang of drug crazed murderers after you the cops are likely to kill you when they arrive and claim you made an aggressive move towards them!

Beware the cult of "government"...

Just my opinion...

Pause the video at 35 seconds.

Here's the summary of the autopsy report:

http://localtvkfor.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/click-here-fo...

Findings on the cause of death are listed as the most likely cause to the least likely cause. The first three injuries listed on the autopsy findings are the most likely cause of death.

Scalp contusions: The report doesn't show where the contusions were located. I would be interested in reading the full autopsy report.

It's a little hard to see, but the officer in the khaki pants has the ball of the palm of his hand on this man's neck.

Remember the video of the police officer walking over to the young man and placing his hands around his neck? The young man passed out.

If the blood supply is cut off for a longer period of time, it can cause hemorrhage of the anterior neck, it can kill.

It also accounts for broken blood vessels in the eyes (petechiae of the bilateral eyes).

I'm not sure why the paragraph starting with "for statistical purposes..." is included in a summary of the findings.

This man wasn't resisting arrest, he was fighting for his life.

If not abuse, how about neglect?

At what point does an Officer apply CPR? If the ambulance is 20 minutes out? 30 minutes? Do these dorks even learn CPR or does their animosity just get in the way? Is it simply beneath them to revive a guy they tried to kill? How calm and immobile they all remain as they wait for medics, and as the man's wife watches him slowly dying. "medical's coming..." What a bunch of Jack-wagons!

The Cop

The one cop keeps trying to block her from filming. I think that cop knew they had killed him and he's trying to keep her from filming. Then, at the very end, he takes her phone and it seems he stops the recording.

He actually says "I can't breathe"

I had seen this video before but I never noticed that at the beginning of the video, just 4 seconds in, after she calls his name he grunts out, "I can't breathe".

They killed him. They used excessive force and at the very least they should get 2nd degree murder for being so careless of another persons life.

I dont think that is it at all

I think they've always been this brutal. We just have a means of recording them and awareness now for people to be more vigilant. Do you think we get this video 10 years ago? I also think presidents and congress have been just as corrupt and cutthroat since 1900 (probably since the inception of the country). I'm sure Cesar's senate was just as bad. Human nature has been the same since the beginning of time, we just have a way to fight back now. (Internet, video, social media)

Police CPR Training

...reserved for use on other police ONLY I suppose.

Struggling to breath is now considered a form of resistance. Can't have that. One must turn over one's life along with their I.D. card in the new police state.

So my question to everyone -

So my question to everyone - is it government plotting to invoke a police state or is it just bad police? How come there are so MANY incidents of police brutality. It is scary because these are the people we will be fighting against (DHS, FBI, CIA, police, sheriffs, child support services, IRS, etc . These are fellow Americans but.... where did they lose their moral compass and love of the constitution?

got posted wrong

It seems like

since the war on terror or the Boston bombing or something the police have changed their strategy. They are less patient and more likely to just take someone out if they think the situation is escalating too quickly. I don't know if this is being given as instruction but I feel like I read one of these stories every day now.

Its particularly disturbing how poorly police deal with people that have mental health issues. I think better caution needs to be exercised and maybe a little patience (no I am not saying mentally ill should be given license to do whatever).

Some are getting to the brink...

Towards the end of the article:

Both men say without seeing an autopsy report, it is hard to say whether police were responsible for Luis Rodriguez’s death.

I love how the local news knows "the situation" when it comes to Iran, Syria, or some other Geopolitical event, but when you have video against a State-Agent i.e. Police Officer, "Welp, we just don't know and this is pending an investigation."

I will agree with a previous statement in the article that I don't really know how the man died, but I have a hunch that if the police weren't present, the man would have lived to punish his daughter.

And that's the whole point: government intervention made things worse.

I would love to hear that woman's testimony of what happened before the camera turned on as I'm sure it's a much different story than what the Police have to say.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

It is quite clear he is dead and has let his bladder go

or perhaps I am seeing things - at the 1:45 mark in the video - they pick him up and it appears to me to be a wet spot from his bladder release upon death.

Either way - I am about sick of "standard police procedure" arguments.
5 guys - figure 1000lbs - sitting on a man - one with his knee on the neck/throat of a guy who appears to not be resisting at all - and nobody can figure that might be a problem???

But what should really concern everyone - and I have said it before - it that action after the fact. Nobody, not one of them decides -holy shit - we effed up - get the cuffs off and start cpr - no they prop a dead guy up in the sitting position and go about as if nothing has happened.

In a "Domestic-Disturbance Call" the SOG calls for the "MALE" to be "removed"...whether he is innocent or not.
Another case of "Color of Law" and "statutes" violating the innocent until proven guilty principle.
Take it from a former victim of abuse of the "law".
These thugs who masquerade as "Sir Galahad" are all-too-eager to flex their muscles especially if they might "get lucky" later with the little lady...even more so if she's "hot".
Well, they certainly "removed" him.....didn't they?

I wonder

if not checking him or starting cpr etc has something to do with them never admitting wrongdoing for legal responsibility reasons. After all, we all saw the man sitting up after the altercation so whatever went wrong MUST have been after they got off of him. (insert eye roll here)

They had to dog pile him because they "felt" he was a threat.. they didn't try to revive him because they "felt" he was ok.

Videotape for others as you would have them videotape for you~

One statement

says it all for me
"WE GOT A CALL FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE"
Instead of...."we got a call about,we are looking into"
"we got a call about alleged domestic violence"
SO they show up,and hand out some domestic violence.
The video stopped playing after my first viewing,so I wasn't able
to listen again,But,it sure sounded that way
D

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Oh now I remember this

Oh now I remember this incident.
That's where the animal wife, psycho got so out of control with her mirror image psycho daughter that the husband was erroneously arrested for assault.

Then the cops basically executed him.

That really sucked. But at least the guy doesn't have to live in a zoo anymore.

Some people think they can just dump their s-h-i-t anywhere anytime.

Not their lucky day. Bread winner gone. But at peace.

I know I sound like a mean person. But I've seen my town and my city go to hell with these kinds of rude, obnoxious, self-centered, toxic people.

?

Why did you post this under my comment?
I wasn't one of the ones dogging on you for your comment, nor did I disagree
with your assessment.
I see them same types around here, disrespectful argumentative kids who push parents into situations where the parents would like to beat the hell out of them
If them parents/guardians had done their jobs when the kids were younger, they might have turned out better
But,with this whole nanny state, correction,at times might mean, jail time for domestic violence, with fines, court costs and restitution. The kids know these facts, and they hold it over their own parents like ransom
Then, they can be assured CPS will there making sure them kids turn out more rotten
You can't spank them, you can't send them to bed hungry, and you can't raise your voice at them. And if a kid goes to school, tells some lies about what happens at home, cops and CPS show up,the kids get pulled, the parents might face the court..and all on the word of a minor.

Oh. The original copy of that post was buried in down votes

So I just copied it and transplanted it under you for proximity to the original reply.
Sorry.
Didn't mean to confuse anyone.

Yeah, Her "Meal-Ticket" just disappeared

....so here comes the lawsuit.
If the poor guy wasn't executed, he'd be taking orders from some judge to pay for her expenses by "Order of the Court".
The "law" is used NOT as a "shield" but as a "sword", and the entire "legal system" is all in cahoots.
And the daughter was probably indoctrinated to take part in this all-too-common-scheme that is played out in tragic theatre within society in the "Land of the Free".
FREE referring to the Money;
For the lawyers...the cops...the "abused spouse"..the kid(s).
Yeah, the cops screwed-up.
They were supposed to keep him alive for all the "tribute" the system could collect.

I was troubled...

when I made this comment several days ago...

I'll tell you (now) what I honestly thought..
"This woman is a nutjob."
That's what I thought.
As soon as I saw the interview with her
I instantly imagined the husband as having endured of HISTORY
of dealing with her constant volatile rage drama(s).
I noticed the 'missing' remorse in the interview.
I felt sickened to watch her avoid admission nor regret
of the initial 'pieces' of probably what went down starting with her.
Yeah.. the cops blew it.. but this WHOLE thing was dark..
VERY dark.
That was why I chose not to express it.
G.

This has to be........

the worse comment from a supposed liberty minded person I've had the unpleasant honour of reading. I have to say.... Shame on You!!

liberty minded

don't go around acting like animals in public having physically violent domestic interactions.
The cops were called because the mother and daughter were out of control.
And if you did you homework you'd not only know they created the situation, you'd also know they don't have a lick of remorse or personal responsibility for what happened to their father/husband -- because they were acting like animals in public.

It's even more sickening to watch the video of the psycho-mom and psycho-daughter ranting about what happened to THEM than it was to see the execution of their innocent husband/father.

http://youtu.be/NHH8xsRcwfQ

Sick man

You don't know these people. How can you call them animals?

You are interjecting assumed information into this whole situation. You can't see in the interview that the wife is angry and the daughter is sad that she lost her dad? How can you assume that they are just playing the victim for a settlement? Thats pretty low and messed up.

The focus of this situation (and I don't always land here) is it appears the police used unnecessary force and it cost this man his life.

slugnuts, I said, "acting like animals"

"...they don't have a lick of remorse or personal responsibility for what happened to their father/husband -- because they were acting like animals in public."

Read before you bleed...

Barracuda Trader

In your dark and pathetic little world a "POSSIBLE" family argument CALLED into 911 somehow justifies murder? I like how a call to 911 immediately becomes DOMESTIC ABUSE in your eyes so you can fabricate some kind of justification that does not EXIST.

You're seriously pathetic.

And BTW "Barracude

And BTW "Barracude Trader"

The fact that you're more concerned about "the possible fight" than the murder astonishes me.

YOUR CITY? YOUR CITY!? Yeah, in YOUR CITY YOU NEED more murder by cops, rather than domestic disturbance calls!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
