How should I counter these Lindsey Graham signs somebody keeps putting up along the road?

I'm right along the Carolina border outside of Charlotte. And apparently Lindsey Graham found somebody willing to put up signs for him along a couple busy roadways. People leaving from Charlotte going into SC along Highway 521 and Interstate I-77. There's a lot.

I ALMOST got out of my car today to take all the signs down. It took a lot out of me not to do that. I figured I would respect that person's property. It's along the road though, so I was trying to tell myself it's fair game, but whatever.

I can get a bunch of "Lose Lindsey" signs and Lee Bright signs, should I just get those and put those in front of the Lindsey Graham signs. Or does somebody have a more creative idea? I will not touch the Lindsey Graham signs out of respect, because I'm a nice guy. :/

You don't want to be on the wrong side in a video like this one.

LOL I loved that video!

Get Out of the Car

Knock on doors of property owners, and ask them if they support LG.

Lots of people are just "nice" and give permission for signs, even if they know nothing about the candidate. Others see the sign go up on their property without having given permission, but tolerate it. These people assume that voters can decide for themselves and think they're supporting free speech--and they're right.

But if you ask such people, they'll let you add your signs, too, perhaps. Or, if you tell them why they shouldn't support LG, allow you to take them down--especially if they hadn't given permission.

On the whole, name recognition is HUGE so signs do make a difference, but they also create the impression of too much money being spent on a campaign. (Contrast that to the Ron Paul homemade signs.)

Be aware of sign ordinances. Vandalism and theft always backfire, but having the property owner on your side is huge. Even so, if the city or county confiscates their signs, LG's campaign may blame you.

signs that lead up to his is a great idea if there is property

you are allowed to use.

how about signs saying things like...
"Do you want strong Democrat leadership? ..."
"Do you want Obamacare?..."
"Do you want a Solid insider close to Hillary Clinton?..."
"Do you want _____?..."

You get the picture. Just go through his record...that should be enough to destroy him

and at the end of this line of "questions" signs you put up are the vote Lindsey Graham signs.

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

Wow just read everybody's

Wow just read everybody's comments, some really good suggestions. I'll have to keep in mind the idea of placing signs leading up to his about a specific issue, but I can't do it in this area because he pretty much sign bombed the area so there's not room for that idea. I am going to find a way to do this though at some point.

I'll keep his signs visible, but I'm going to take someone's idea and just use their own signs against them. Thanks for all the comments guys!

Add this sign to the group

Lindsey says "Shut up. You don't get a lawyer."

Make up a batch of "Clinton-Graham 2016" signs

with both their smiling mugs on it.

Signs that lead up to his,

Signs that lead up to his, confusing his message and making biting or humorous commentary may work best.

"Lindsay Graham...He's Our Man...Lives Inside...A Garbage Can"

"The American People...Just Can't Stand...Lindsay Graham"

"A True Friend...Of America's Enemies...Lindsay Graham"

"Obama Loves...This Guy...Don't Vote For...Lindsay Graham"

Hopefully the public will see

Hopefully the public will see these words in their minds while driving by...."Liar", "Nazi", "Evil", "Tyrant". What platform do any of these fools have to run a campaign on?

How much money do you have?

If you can swing it, make 2 or 3 signs concerning a specific issue, another 2 or 3 signs concerning an other issue, another 2 or 3 signs concerning another issue, etc. etc. You will be educating others, as well as perhaps getting others to begin looking at voting records.

You can simplify the issues so that people understand, and also to fit on the sign:

I also agree about not touching grahams signs, as difficult as it may be. But in the future, NEVER capitalize his name - use small case letters!

How about a small money-bomb to raise a grand or two?

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

put up a sign right next to

put up a sign right next to their sign that says obama's b-i-t-c-h

Im a border brat too

So far I haven't seen any signs going into Chesnee SC (Spartanburg County) when I go down there. But I have seen a lot..and I mean A LOT of SC cops.
You could make your own signs and put right next to the Graham signs
vote for Lindsey Graham If you believe Illegals should be given welfare from your paycheck
If you believe we should welcome Muslims that are beheading Christians
If your for larger government and more taxes

I believe in Hope & Change..I Hope the government will Change
Spindale-Rutherford County-North Carolina

Depends on your ambition

But, for example, during the last primary I put a Ron Paul sign 1 inch in front of about 30 Hillary signs outside her local office. They pulled them out, I replaced..... went on for a few days. :) It depends on your state laws, etc... I would say you can do anything other than infringing on someone else's property.

I like the idea of a sign next to them with an arrow saying "Banker's best friend" or "votes against vets" or "the problem with DC". I would not associate another candidate's name.

Red Spray Paint

Paint a "No" symbol over each sign. Red circle with a slash through it. Boom, done...

Sprayable Paint Stripper. One squirt, walk away. The weather will do the rest.

"Vote Lindsay Graham, because

"Vote Lindsay Graham, because American's are terrorists too"

Maybe put up a sign right

Maybe put up a sign right next to the Lindsey Graham sign that says "Hillary '16". Equating Graham with the Dems will stick in the minds of many a southerner. Plus it would be really funny.

His record will trump his signs. Spread the word.

Honesty is the best policy, some people say.

Put a sign next to his with

Put a sign next to his with an arrow pointing over that says "I'm with stupid", just like the t-shirts.

Doing something to them that you'd not want done to

A Ron Paul sign is out of the question. We are to hold ourselves to a higher standard, after all we are " self governered " right? That's why we know a limited ( meaning very small ) federal government is all we need, because we can govern ourselves correctly.

Here's what I would do, I'd place a sign for Lee beside every Graham sign.

Or I'd do a " Burma shave " type sing run up to all the Graham signs
Take something he's done in Congress, supporting NADA, Patriot Act, gun control, whatever is considered a " sin " in your area and use it against him.

Something like

He says he's our man
But you know he's truly not
He signed to take our guns away
But said no when he is caught
Lindsey Graham

I agree about upholding the Golden Rule as a standard.

Clearly, there are some great ideas on this thread that don't involve vulgarity, defacing the signs, or even preventing them from being seen, but rather like a martial arts master turn the force of the LG signs against him...

basically with signs that are side-by-side [one for every LG sign would be great!] noting his record [e.g., wants drones to spy on you] or things he's said, quoted. Maybe the side-by-side sign could be one of those *cartoon clouds* that show who is speaking. This is just for example, but it's pretty funny! Put up signs that say, "Shut you up, you don't get a lawyer",

right beside those Lindsey Graham signs. Shame on that man, his new nickname should be, Mr. Shut up you don't get a lawyer, and we should make it stick until he can no longer sleep at night from his own words haunting his memory.

May liberty be with YOU in your strategy with whatever you come up with. Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kind people rock

I would take em all down and

I would take em all down and throw them away or stencil GHRAMNESTY on them
