The sarcophagus of our mind!Submitted by The Pen on Tue, 03/04/2014 - 02:28
If you wish to join me this ordinary night,
sit up in your tomb;
If you yearn for the dash of sight,
arise in the womb;
If you feel the pains of dense chains,
the grind of dirge and lock,
the slivers incinerate across your flesh
from the familiar bane made you ingest,
or the shadowy crow within you nests
freedom lay just over the crest,
where sly movers pawn and jest and beg
for your want and waste of jewel of mind,
jewel of heart,
to the dregs of time...
If you wish to humor the naivete I keep,
make footprints pointedly to the loam;
If you will for the glow and the brim of an inner sea,
look not back as you follow me home...
Peace and Love always.
