The R2P boot is actually on the other foot.

The article refers to America's "responsibility to protect" in Ukraine but fails to mention Russia's much more compelling responsibility to protect its own people and citizens in Ukraine who have been threatened by the new illegal government.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

it does kind of piss me off that Russia uses Paul's word of on-interventio, which are directed at an american audience, to advance its own interests (Russia has no intention of a "non-interventionist" policy)
