trying to understand this . . .

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Is there anyone here against fracking....

That hasn't examined the Saudia propaganda connection?(gaslands and the other movie are paid for by the house of Saud, they will afterall be the biggest losers of this) Secondly, if our dollar is attached to oil and were are to become the worlds biggest oil exporter isn't this technically the only way out of our debt unless were to "lower" spending (fat chance) or to raise taxes?

About Gasland sponsors

Here's a good article I read on thenewamerican.com about the gasland connection to all these Agenda 21, anti human organizations such as Club of Rome, CFR, etc.
There's also a mention about how HBO promoted the "documentary" which is owned by Time Warner (soon by Comcast if they have their way) which is owned by Ted Turner who just loves population control.

It's a good read with a lot of backing:
U.S. Oil Output to Double Every Three Years, Unless “They” Get Their Way

this came from..

*marauding as a collection of "grassroots" organizations of ordinary people.

USCAN, established in 1989 and seeded by rockafeller money, describes itself as ... 'action to limit human-induced climate change ... a vital and growing network for organizations active on climate change.'

they are world-wide and well organized:

(from the mission summary)
The transformative changes necessary to **mitigate and ***adapt to climate change .. Success depends on combining organizational actions with a powerful “network” mindset. .. and avoid duplicative efforts.

.. to support and strengthen US-based civil society organizations’ influence on the development and implementation of local, national, and international climate policy and action.

The network offers a one-stop shop to:
gather information,
identify partners,
tap into existing issue campaigns, and
seize opportunities for coordinated and collective actions.

The reason I am against the

The reason I am against the KSP is because the feds have been giving special treatment to oil companies for decades creating an artificial dependency on such an outdated technology. The government needs to GET OUT of everything in the market especially the energy market but since we are in such a mess with the deficit I would however support clean energy jobs and/or updating our national power grid with federal money but after that END IT FOREVER.

Federal "money" is stolen

I was with you until that last sentence.

They marched from... Georgetown University.

DUN DUN DUN...queue imperial march theme.

Staged protest?

There are issues way more worthy of protest than this oil pipe. If they are so concerned about health, why not protest the fukushima cover-up or atmospheric heavy-metal/pollutant dispersal or GMOs or mandatory vaccines or the cancer cure cover-up or, well, you got the point.

EDIT: I see that Rockefeller has funded this which makes sense and now to me affirms my suspicion of it being a controlled demonstration. Rockefeller is a Knight of Malta which is an order that is being subcontracted by the highest secret society to maintain various aspects of the nwo; Georgetown University being the most vilely distinguished Jesuit institution in the US where the marchers came from is no surprise then.

staged? YES!

brought to you by the CAN's! (Climate Action Networks)
( many local groups labeled "grassroots".. NOT! )

and they are not only seeded by Rockafeller money, but VERY world-wide organized:

controlled opposition.

Okay, but besides, they have no issue with fake money?

Weird. So, does somebody know if any of them have a problem with the fake money we're being raped with?

Isn't that rather odd, for a topic obviously tied to economics also?

Just wondering.

Or, I must be missing something, again!

they do not have money or know what they have.

ask around how many people know that we have currency, and not money?
I will tell you how many.
zero point zero.

A few relatives of mine know it now.

A few relatives of mine know it now.

I've been super annoying enough, a real pain the butt, but I have clues now they know it and finally start going for action.

What helped though, it seems, is they knew where I was coming from.

With no record, whatever one says counts for nothing, I think.

Now I can move on.

you are my very best and favorite Frenchman.

I thank you VERY much for that statue that was shared with us.
even if nobody else knows why.

Sharing with & helping the closest to us we (really) care about

Sharing with, and helping the closest to us we (really) care about, goes a long way.

The LIE of the FREAKING demagogues FRAUDS today in charge, is you'd have any duty to help strangers even when you don't sincerely feel compelled to.

Or that it is "right" you be forced to.

is Liberty a religion?

or does it just come in a close 2nd?

Cyril's picture

Liberty is a value.

Liberty is a value. If you don't want it, you won't have it.

It is a young value in History.

It's being aborted, but it's not dead quite yet.

I am not sure.. if I made your point or you made mine.

but either way, we are on the same page.

Liberty shines in the heart of everyone.
pointing that out is what is difficult..

I enjoyed your conversation.

It gave me a different way to look at and explain liberty.

Look deeper

Likely paid shills. Then again Earth worshipers are a real phenomenon. Beware of their slogans which undermine your right to exist on the planet and the economic/energy havok they would play if they had their way.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Looked Like Less than 1oo Students

The article suggested 1000 students that sounded like tens of thousands. It looked like maybe 100 students tops. This is the same media that ignored and underreported Ron Paul's crowds. I just don't buy it.

who's counting?

I agree. They underreported Ron Paul. They underreported Beck's get together a couple years ago. Heck they didn't even report on the March for Life, going by the MSM no one showed for it.

keep in mind

Keep in mind also it was a blog and not an actual 'news' story. And maaaybeee just a little biased? Given the last 3 lines read;
"He can side with Big Oil and approve Keystone XL, tarnishing his environmental legacy and getting little political benefit in the process. Or he can stand with the generation of young people that helped power him into office and reject this XL climate disaster. It's time to make the right call."

Wonder what side the writer is on?

Protesting is Healthy

I don't find this a major issue or find it is something personally worth protesting and going to jail for. However, anytime people exercise their 1st amendment rights, regardless if I agree with them or not, it is healthy for the country.

Resistance and defiance are cornerstones of this republic, and even when disagreed with, the act, not the issue, should be celebrated, not attacked.

You know...

oil spills on land are much easier to clean up than ones in the ocean. Would you rather take the risk of planting more rigs in the ocean where a spill could take years to clean up, and may never be fully cleaned up at all, or would you rather deal with something that can be taken care of in a few days?

Stupid Kids

dumb, dumb, dumber than DUMB indoctrinated Libtards... Second Amendment ? Not a peep....First Amendment ?...not a peep and so on and so on...Keystone Pipeline...OMG the sky is falling the sky is falling. Between the Boomers and the youth this country has no future. Stick a fork in it already! Us middle aged folks are completely surrounded by indoctrinated IDIOTS !

"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin."

I agree with Justin Amash

He was the only republican voting against the pipeline, because it gives special treatment to one company, inuding tax breaks.

and IMO nobody should have to pay into taxation, as the policy should be wholly abolished

It wouldn't surprise me if Warren Buffett is backing it too,

since he benefits from keeping those train cars full.

Undo what Wilson did

Whether I agree or disagree with their protest, some irony

They're essentially protesting Oil, while wearing plastic suits and laying on plastic tarps, that are likely all made from petroleum products derived from Oil.
