Sure, You're an Anarchist or a Voluntaryist, and Thats Cool, But...

I'm curious what you are doing to promote liberty now that you're not "doing" politics? Farming, media, going off the grid? Something else?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to say you need to be involved in political campaigns, I just want to know what you are putting just as much time effort and money into to promote liberty as you were when you were helping candidate.

Those who know me know that I'm right there with you and done with political campaigns, and am focusing on promoting liberty media...

I'm mostly focused on helping Ben Swann. I see Ben as someone who can really breakthrough and become a household name, and take the liberty message mainstream.

Since I started working with Ben Swann this past summer we’ve taken some big steps forward with our plans to build a news network around Ben, the “EMP News Network.” We are producing written articles daily and videos weekly, and now have a team of 5 writers and we’ve hired another video journalist.

In addition, we launched a Roku channel to help distribute the videos we are already making - https://www.rokuchannels.tv/benswanntruthinmedia/ - and we are about a week or so away from Hulu and Amazon Prime adding our Season 1 content to their platforms.

And we’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to help fund our 2nd season - http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/truth-in-media-project-sea...

We also recently launched what I've been calling our "Paul Harvey project for a new generation" (audio vignettes) that I'm having great success getting picked up by radio networks and stations, and we just signed a deal for Ben's own radio show with Republic Broadcasting last week. Ben starts M-F on the 10th!

To further make Ben a household name, I introduced him to one of Ron Paul's former communications directors and they are working on the "Swann Story" together, and I've landed him roles in two upcoming movies that he will be himself in. (think MSM reporters being themselves in other movies you've seen)

I've also helped KrisAnne Hall - http://www.krisannehall.com/ - and Robin Koerner - http://www.bluerepublican.org/ - connect with people who will help make a documentary film project of KrisAnne's happen.

And just last week I introduced the Gray State crew - http://www.graystatemovie.com/ - to Michael O'Donnell - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0640814/ - and things sound very good so far and we should all be moving forward together!

But what are You working on? Just dropping out of the system and not working to wake others up doesn't cut it for me, and these liberty media projects and others - http://buck-the-system.blogspot.com/ - comes to mind... could really use your help!

Went back to school to finish my biology degree.

yay! Also, I'm going to be donating to Ben right now as well. I'm not too interested in being an any part of the political process anymore.

Data A Art, Peace Farm and the Worldwide Peace Marker Project

My team and I are in the second year of building a Data A art project on agricultural land on the Greek island of Crete. The effort features gardens and livestock including a donkey breeding herd and a breeding pair of endangered Georgalidika horses, the indigenous horse of Crete.

Agroktimis tis Eirinis (Peace Farm) is a laboratory where sustainability questions are asked and explored. It is a microcosm of human and natural interaction. It is dedicated to the fulfillment of the promise of Peace Marker Greece and the Worldwide Peace Marker Project (WPMP).

This effort follows 35 years of experimental art projects, much of which supported the development of the new breakthrough ideas of the remarkable artist/philosopher Tiite' Baquero.

Education is the key to

Education is the key to liberty. Ben does a fantastic job and I'm glad you are working with him. I supported him in his startup and I need to support him again as he starts the second year. What I do personally is try to educate those I talk to. Can't reach thousands at a time, but I do work on those who will listen.

Beware the cult of "government"...

i can walk and chew gum at the same time

who said we're " not "doing" politics". rand paul 2016 is part of my blueprint on the road to a peaceful voluntaryist based society. i would love to then see Adam k come in in 2024 and ratchet things down even more back to the state level and continue on that path until we get down to the individual. that won't happen over night because society is not awake yet and ready to accept the responsibility that comes along with that degree of freedom. we're all ready but we still have to wake the rest up and that starts with rand paul 2016. having said that, i don't know that even rand can save us now and wish we had gotten ron paul 2008-2016.

My current educational efforts...

We're trying to build an "intentional community."

The long term plan is 5000 families in one rural county.

So far, we have weekly meetings, two families with property purchases in target area and three more looking and ready to buy. People pursuing the agorism thing...making soap, cutting down trees, building stuff, milk, eggs, ...

Probably more importantly, we have 8 or 10 families represented in our meetings and another 10 to 15 occasional attendees. It turns out that the ideas of responsibility, independence, and freedom are pretty new to most people---even (especially?) those who consider themselves "conservative/libertarian." (Surprise, surprise.) So that's the primary educational component for the time being. It's not making a dent on the boob tube world, but I think it's some solid work for liberty.

We're working on a concise list of "ideologies" for marketing purposes. That is something in print that explains who we are and hopefully can give someone an idea if they want to be involved or not. I can't really say that I'm the primary gung-ho participant or promoter in this. But I am a participant.

And don't forget Appleseed: http://www.appleseedinfo.org

Thank you for your contributions!

to make this world a better and free society for all indivduals ill willing to do my very best...

You've made it pretty clear

that you actually do this for a living, which is great. Your list of liberty-centered work is impressive, but it better be considering this is what you do professionally. Most of us here on the DP work somewhere else, like myself I spend over 10 hours a day as an engineer and project manager. Our "list" of things will seem diminutive at the very least next to yours.

BTW... We also farm (small scale), make all of our food from scratch (no meals in a box here), home school our children (love ya' Art Robinson), heat our home without the need for electricity, blah, blah. Basically, we have nearly no dependence on the state and big banks.

I think trying to ween yourself of dependence on the state and

big banks as you put it is extremely important. That is what I am working towards also.

Good Luck!

I realize it may seem like a large and daunting task, but if you chip away at the "dependency" little by little, you will be surprised how far you get in a year's time. We started only two years ago and we are nearly debt free (except for our mortgage), all of our savings are in hard assets, we hunt, fish, garden, preserve, and all of the other things stated in my earlier post.

I'll say this... The first complete meal you eat that was sewn, grown, harvested, hunted, cleaned, and prepared by you and you alone will be the most fulfilling and tastiest meal you ever ate. Oh, and don't forget to wash it down with spring water from your own well, or reclaimed rain water (purified).

What you are doing and have done is fantastic, Zack. There are

so many great things to get involved in since RP's 2 campaigns - it's very exciting. Thanks for the great examples you set.

I agree

That that is part of the solution... but it isn't the entire solution...
