PEOPLE, help me win over Homeschoolers

I don't know the video you are referring to, but it was the USA forcing Germany to sign the Versailles Peace Treaty that ultimately led to WWII. Germany had to pay such exhorbitant reparations to France, that the economy totally collapsed. Basically, there was inflation higher than ever heard of, there was no food for the people, and the only profits were in the military industrial complex (I'm serious - this is where the term came from). The war profiteers made all the money, but the people were forced to pay for all the reparations.

Even Keynes warned that the Versailles Peace Treaty would destroy the newly formed Weimar Republic. But, of course, the US government never listens to reason.

In the end, Hitler rose to power because the people were really pissed off. There were like 20 different political Parties that arose, so Hitler won because none of the others had enough of a voting block.
