It Will Happen Suddenly (economic collapse)

Interesting article...

"Should there be a currency crash, as is expected in many countries, promises made by governments will be abandoned suddenly, as though they had never existed."

Apparently not. The crash

Apparently not.

The crash has been ongoing and slow since the late seventies. It may accelerate, but I think we are experiencing a Great Britain-style fade into oblivion.

It's not like I am hoping for a sudden collapse because

it will be bad for all of us. But I do think it would be great to see the tax feeders and the retired tax eaters suddenly see their salaries and benefits go up in smoke.

Ditto

Apparently you got down voted by some tax feeders or eaters.

As a matter of fact I do hope for an all out collapse because that is the only thing that will even start to change things. The sooner they loose their faith in the government that coddles them the better.

All government assistance is made possible by theft. This includes but is not limited to welfare, food stamps and the ponzi pension schemes.

The only caveat is that you don't know what it will change into.

That's my concern too. We could go from really bad to worse.

And the tax feeders could've stopped it all along. But noooooooo, they decided to protect their paycheck and their way of life instead.

Most don't know any better as the system has indoctrinated

them into that lifestyle from a very early age. To lump them all into one category is a bit presumptive in my opinion.

Yes, there are bottom feeders that will get a huge wake up call when the system collapses. Many of them will deserve that wake up call. But many of them will deserve it no more than you or I.

Although the correction is necessary for a sound economy to emerge, I still wish for hardship on no one.

Most should know better and for decades now I have been

scorned, maligned and abused for pointing out what was happening and is coming, and I have been paying an extra price too because I am a saver. So I really have no empathy for the lazy non thinking, willing to be indoctrinated sheeple who thrive on stolen loot.

Everyone makes choices. I have a habit of not feeling bad for people who make bad ones, and will feel less bad if tshtf! It's not about wishing hardship on anyone. The tax feeders don't give a damn about me and what they've done to my economy and the economy of millions of slaves as long as they get theirs. Why should I suddenly care about them when it all goes away?

Cyril's picture

I think you nailed it.

I think you nailed it.

Hardship will be for everybody anyway. An entire past generation plus at least half of mine have made the choice to waste the golden egg that they inherited without doing anything but surrender their rights and delegate their responsibilities year after year, decade after decade, on series of demagogues even more materialistic than they were.

The sooner the time of reckoning of all the moral hazards they have selfishly allowed to settle against their own kids and grandkids, the better. They shall see how their worship of the present and contempt for foresight work for them eventually.

They shall see what the true value of the reckless and irresponsible promises they bought into, really is.

I will not feel sorry for them, hitting the wall at full speed, blindly because they have CHOSEN to do so.

I have enough to worry about and hope for my family's seatbelt to sustain the shock coming to us one way or another.

That and welfare benefits are

That and welfare benefits are designed to keep you dependent on them. In many cases even getting a job can make you ineligible for certain programs. If you are truly desperate and trying to make ends meet and do that math that you can survive better on programs that working at McDonalds then that is exactly what you are going to do.

The government WANTS people on programs because when people are dependent on the government, it is much easier for them to be complacent when the start losing their rights.
